We’re recruiting our first Senior Legacy and In Memory Executive, to join our high performing Fundraising team at Refuge. You’ll work collaboratively with the Legacy and In Memory Manager to develop and grow the legacy and in memory programme, helping shape our strategy to recruit, engage and steward legacy pledgers and in memory donors. Managing and delivering a range of campaigns across multiple communication channels including email, social and print, you’ll help develop and deliver engaging communications to maximise lifetime value. Using an agile, test and learn approach, you’ll work closely with other teams, including our Digital, CRM and Supporter Care teams.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, having delivered successful campaigns to recruit and retain legacy and in memory supporters. As well as delivering campaigns at scale you will also be comfortable with speaking to supporters on a one-to-one basis. You’ll be highly organised and be able to proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will also be confident in reviewing and analysing campaign performance and making recommendations for future performance. Finally, you’ll be passionate, committed and care about the work Refuge undertakes.

Role Overview
The Communications and Community Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the Angelou Centre’s voice and presence across digital and community platforms. About the Role

Length and Salary
This is a full-time role, on a permanent contract. The annual salary is £42,193 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we ask staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. However, we are open to discussions on a flexible working arrangement on a case-by-case basis. This is a role that may require travel and work outside of core office hours from time to time, for example for donor events.

Job Purpose:
The main purpose of this role is to lead and coordinate communications activities across the Society’s policy and external affairs activities, ensuring that our work is communicated strategically and visible to appropriate audiences.
Key responsibilities:
Understanding opportunities and the changing external environment
- Develop our understanding of the preferences and needs of our key internal and external audiences to better align our policy and external affairs communications to those preferences and needs.

Working for the RSS
Pension and benefits
Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. Your contributions of up to 8% of salary will be double matched by the Society (making a maximum contribution by the Society of 16%). A training budget, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme and employee assistance programme are also available.
Location
The RSS office is in central London. We offer flexible working arrangements, and this is a hybrid role with a minimum two days a week working in the office. In person attendance for certain meeting is required, including all-staff / team meetings and governance / committee meetings that take place in person. Limited travel within the UK and internationally may be required.
Working hours
35 per week full-time. Applications for job shares, part-time and flexible working will also be considered. The post-holder will be the point of contact for any out-of-office hours press queries.
Holidays

Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Partnerships Manager and working closely with colleagues in the Partnerships Team, the Partnerships Engagement Coordinator is responsible for working closely with volunteers and school staff to support successful delivery of interactive activities aimed at schools and young people under key funded projects for the charity’s Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes. These programmes leverage technology to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of children and young people by connecting them to a huge range of volunteers from the world of work via career related learning activities.
The Partnerships team are responsible for relationship management of the key corporate and charity partners for the charity’s Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes. Partners cover a range of sectors and employment areas and our employer partnerships provide partners employees with the opportunity to engage with schools, and reach many children and young people across the UK, both virtually and in-person.
This role will be split between supporting organisation of activities related to our corporate partners and delivering activities to schools across parts of the country. There is opportunity to interface directly with children and young people from both secondary and primary schools. through facilitating virtual and in person interactive activities with volunteers.

Reporting to the Head of Policy, Campaigns and Public Affairs, you will be responsible for shaping evidence-based policy positions, producing high-impact consultation responses, and identifying strategic opportunities to influence health and research policy. Length and Salary
This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £42,193 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have the current right to work in the UK, which will be checked prior to interview.

In this hybrid role, you’ll have the chance to own and drive forward Globe Community Project’s communications strategy, taking a proactive approach to campaigns and initiatives, social media and supporter engagement, and meeting targets to inform, grow and reward our supporter base.
You’ll be joining the charity at a time of growth, and there’s scope for you to make a huge impact on our ability to reach and connect even more isolated people. As a loneliness charity, our communications are key.
You’ll either be in part-time work and looking for more hours, or a freelancer with space to take this on. You could work your hours across one or more days; we don’t mind as long as you can drive results, be flexible and responsive where needed.
You must live locally or within easy reach of East London, and have the right to live and work in the UK.
Campaigns and initiatives
Producing compelling and impactful communications.
- Writing copy.
- Creating and developing content and graphics.
- Publishing on, and assisting with the development of, the GCP website.
Social media
Full responsibility for the social media channels.
- Creating and scheduling posts and content
- Engaging with others and with relevant trends.
- Setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
Supporter engagement
Keeping supporters and donors informed and involved.
- Crafting and designing compelling emails, with at least 1 email newsletter per month.
- Promoting opportunities for participation – including surveys, volunteering and
- fundraising campaigns.
- Refining segments and user journeys.
Strategy
- Making key contributions to the development and delivery of our strategic communications plan, including setting targets and timeframes within your first month.
Community events
- Gathering stories and content from participants at our activities in East London.
- Supporting occasional fundraising events.
