*This role sits within a pay grade with a pay range of £24,570 to £31,460. Purpose of Role
The Business Administration Apprentice will play a crucial role in supporting functional teams, including Finance, People, Governance and Communications to deliver our strategy. The Apprentice will undertake a structured training program, combining work-based learning with academic study, to develop essential administrative and organisational skills.
The role will work rotationally across teams, resolving issues as requested. The post involves developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services.

About the role
As a Lead Worker (Intensive Case Management), you will deliver intensive, person-centred, and holistic support to people who are disadvantaged and need significant support to end their homelessness. You will be collaborating with internal and external colleagues to meet people’s immediate, acute needs and to support them to start taking steps towards ending their homelessness.
We take a bold approach to supporting people and adapt our ways of working when needed to ensure that we are providing impactful, equitable service giving everyone a fair opportunity to receive the support they need. We help people to challenge barriers put up by the system. This is an incredibly varied role as you will offer practical support such as help to attend external appointments, open bank accounts, and obtain IDs, but you will also work closely with our internal clinical psychologists to help your members to recognise their strengths and build resilience.
About you

You have experience supporting people with complex trauma and multiple needs including mental health, physical health and substance misuse difficulties, a history of multiple exclusion and social isolation.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This strategic role will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing operational functions across our businesses, focusing on fostering a positive working environment and employee experience, while supporting our social impact and business growth. You will share SCN’s ambitions to transform funding for grassroots organisations and coalitions by reimagining fundraising, removing structural barriers and encouraging institutional funders to support community interests.
This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to support us in delivering our vision. The ideal candidate will have experience of operations, HR & risk management and will have a passion to make a difference. You will work with the Director of Ops on streamlining operational systems and processes, compliance and risk management, policy oversight, resource planning, and HR and payroll oversight. Crucially, you will help us develop our new Employer of Record Service; the Social Change Hive. Working closely with the CEO and the Head of Business Development, you will ensure all our HR processes, systems and reporting structures are operational for our clients and our employees.
The role would suit someone who loves operations, HR and risk management and be comfortable in a startup environment. The role will involve working across the businesses and working closely with the Head of Programmes and the Head of Governance, Risk and Innovation. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We are a trauma informed organisation, and while you may not be trauma trained – you will need to understand the need for a human touch within the systems and processes we hold (we will also provide training on our approach). As part of the role, you must understand HR regulation, contract management and general operational functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Senior Operations manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Director of Ops in ensuring we have efficient systems and processes across the organisation and providing support on contracting needs for the businesses. Occasionally we are asked to help support the operational development of our clients. The role will involve:
- Operations oversight (40%)
- To take a systematic view of all operations across the business and make sure we have the correct operational tools, systems and processes in place to support our internal needs as well as delivery of work to our clients. Lead on designing and embedding effective tools and systems to support this and ensure there are up to date process maps to support the team in using them.
- Regular reporting on these systems to the senior management team to support business management and strategic decisions
- Working closely with heads of each function to ensure we have the right processes in place that support the team in delivering their work

- Responsible for overseeing all contracting for clients and employees

Join the National Portrait's Gallery’s Development team as Fundraising Manager, Grants. You'll work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager to support the delivery of an ambitious and exciting fundraising programme and raise income through grant-giving bodies, including Trusts and Foundations, statutory funders, and corporate foundations.

As the Peer to Peer Groupwork Facilitator you will set up, lead and deliver a year-long peer to peer group programme for bereaved families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child.
The groupwork is based on a programme led by Harvard University and Boston’s Children’s hospital and has structured sessions drawing upon psychological model of CBT, although the sessions are not therapeutic. Each session has a theme and incorporates education, guidance and support.
You will establish and deliver a new peer online support group, facilitating group formation, and enhancing service delivery and creating a safe and welcoming space for bereaved families.
Outside the group sessions you will be responsible for managing the administration and evaluation of the service, including and collection of questionnaires and feedback required for reporting purposes and supporting members with any signposting requirements processing referrals, carrying out eligibility screening, monitoring the waiting list and inputting and keeping all database member and service records up to date.
It is a key time to be joining the charity and helping us to continue to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families. The charity has been hugely successful, but the work is far from done. CPRE is the countryside charity that campaigns to promote, enhance and protect the countryside for everyone’s benefit, wherever they live.
With a local CPRE in every county, we work with communities, businesses and government to find positive and lasting ways to help the countryside thrive - today and for generations to come.
We are looking for an experienced media officer to help grow the influence of our small but effective press office. With a new government in power, this is a critical time for our countryside and an exciting time to join CPRE, the countryside charity. As media officer, you’ll help to deliver high-profile coverage of CPRE’s work as part of an impactful and expanding team.
You’ll work closely with our media manager and other colleagues across our Policy and Advocacy teams to help communicate CPRE’s key policy lines to the public via print and broadcast media. You’ll also be working with CPRE’s network of local groups to help shape their media relations activities.
Your day-to-day work might include:
- Supporting and leading on conversations with journalists to help generate coverage of CPRE’s work
- Writing press releases and media briefings for internal and external audiences
- Using specialist software to evaluate CPRE’s press coverage and the wider media landscape
- Supporting colleagues to become effective and confident spokespeople

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. In 2024 we embarked on our new 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
This is an exciting time to join the Housing First team, an innovative and supportive team offering open-ended, flexible, and intensive support to people who face multiple disadvantages. Housing First is an evidenced based model of support that alleviates homeless for people for whom other models of support may not be able to reach.

About the role
As a Housing First Coach you will deliver high quality person-centred support, using psychologically and trauma informed approaches, in line with Housing First principles. You will take a bold approach to establishing open and trusting relationships with people who have had long histories of homelessness or in temporary/insecure accommodation, enabling them to access and sustain accommodation and empower them to exercise choice and control over their lives. The team is multi-disciplinary – Coaches, Peer Support Worker, Clinical Psychologist – which allows us to collaboratively formulate innovative approaches to support. The team operates across London, providing numerous opportunities to build impactful partnerships and contribute towards systems change.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter, flexible and have experience of working collaboratively as part of a team and with internal and external partners. You may have a background in housing/homelessness support, adult safeguarding, drug or alcohol recovery services or mental health and have significant experience of working within a multidisciplinary setting with the ability to create strong professional relationships and creative solutions. You will have experience of working with people who have faced severe and multiple exclusion and who may have ‘complex needs’; with an understanding of the needs of people who have been homeless for long periods of time. You will be willing and able to provide practical assistance with moving into and maintaining a home – including direct help where necessary with tasks such as shopping, budgeting, cooking, and cleaning. You will also have a knowledge of Housing First and Housing Led approaches and the ability to work within a psychologically informed approach.

About you

We are looking for a part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Worker in Scotland. You will be home based living in the North of Scotland.
