Brief role description:
The Communications Manager will play a key role in sharing the inspiring and powerful stories of our clients and the wider military community we support across the UK. They will be responsible for securing high-profile, meaningful media coverage that raises awareness of our mission to provide life-long, life-changing support, employment and training opportunities to Service leavers, veterans, reservists and their families. As we mark our 140th anniversary, this is a pivotal time for the Communications Manager to develop and deliver an integrated communications strategy across PR, traditional and new media, social media, and public affairs. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the Community Engagement Manager and their teams to ensure consistent and aligned messaging across all marketing and
communication activity.

The role of Finance Manager
The Finance Manager will oversee the finance operations and lead on the preparation of management accounts, budgets, funding requests and internal and external reporting. The Role

Role Context and Purpose

Management of pension scheme:
- Ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment pension
- Adding new starters and processing leavers with the pension provider along with any changes that might impact pension
- Updating pension provider with any monthly contributions
- Supporting employees with payroll queries and investigating discrepancies

What you will be doing:
- By being empathetic and seeking to understanding the complex needs of homeless young people, young people leaving care, and the barriers they face, you will work with them and their support workers to tell their stories.
- Utilising your creative skill’s, you will create branded collateral that supports a variety of campaigns and events.
- Through your enthusiasm, you will be able to work on own initiative but also alongside your team, ensuring all communications are suitable for specific audiences.
- By being detail orientated you will be managing a variety of platforms including the website and all social media channels.
- You build strong relationships both internally and externally; you communicate excellently, and you influence others externally to support 1625 Independent People
You will be in Fundraising and Communications Team and your line manager will be our Communications and Community Fundraising Manager.

Contract details
- Hours per week: 37.5 (this represents 1 FTE)
- Contract type: 1 year contract (Maternity Cover)
- Pay: £27,852 - £29,439 per annum
- The location: Kingsley Hall, Old Market - there is also flexibility and support to manage working from home. We currently meet as a team 2 days a week at Kingsley Hall.

A skilled project manager and technical advisor, with a proven ability to work with external stakeholders, you will work in support of the Technical Manager to manage the technical aspects of Leaping Bunny and other organisational programmes. You will have excellent administrative skills gained in a customer-facing environment, including the ability to deal with multiple complex enquiries in a calm manner.

You will act as a main point of contact for all Leaping Bunny technical enquiries and other potential new programmes, and in doing so, you will enjoy dealing with a wide and diverse range of people mainly via phone/email/video calls.

Who we are looking for
We’re looking for a strategic and creative Content & Communications Manager to lead the development and delivery of our multi-channel content. You will curate, create, and commission dynamic, multi-channel content that supports our mission to accelerate access to new technologies and treatments, advance research toward cures, and provide trusted resources to support people with T1D.
Collaboration is key. You’ll work closely with people living with T1D, researchers, and advocates to amplify authentic voices and create well-evidenced content that informs and inspires. You'll also manage media relations, securing coverage to raise awareness of T1D and our work.
Experience required
You’ll have previous experience of:
