I’m looking to speak to a communications and PR/ media professional with experience working for an international development animal charity, looking to join an advocacy led charity as Head of Communications and Campaigns. In this remote based role (with ad-hoc travel to London), you will pro-actively develop and drive work to generate PR coverage and awareness for the charity, and ensure working animals are represented in the global news agenda.

What will you be doing?
Working with the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Team you will be:
- Working with the Senior Individual Giving Manager to develop, manage, and plan to grow Legacy and In Memory donations.
- Ensuring all materials produced are accurate and compliant with relevant data protection, charity, gift aid legislation and the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice.
- Representing and protecting the charity’s interests in the administration of Legacies, in line with Probate Law, Estate Administration Law, Institute of Legacy Management best practice and Charity Commission guidelines. Keeping abreast of all developments in legislation and regulatory control which cover Legacy and in memory fundraising activity.
- Liaising with the Senior Individual Giving Manager to shape, plan and deliver a Legacy and In-Memory strategy that delivers income growth, maximising the conversion of donors into Legacy Pledgers.
- Supporting other teams and members, undertake activities, develop reports in a timely manner and in line with best practices.
- Developing and assisting in a programme of training around legacies and reporting.
What Skills and Experience do you need?

Digital Fundraising Officer

The Role
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Digital Fundraising Officer will help to maximise income through fundraising appeals, provide beneficiary support and increase supporter retention through digital channels
Key responsibilities will include:

We are looking for a Procurement and Contract Manager to join the RBL team and oversee activity within our Fundraising, Remembrance and Marketing Directorate.

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, this role will see you jointly own the strategy and delivery of the procurement of goods and services for RBL across our Fundraising, Remembrance and Marketing area. This will involve implementing procurement and contract best practice to deliver technical and commercial requirements.
Supporting the Procurement Team, you will be working on implementing activities to ensure RBL procurement is a best in sector function.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Identification and management of procurement projects that deliver maximum value and mitigate risk
· Partner with business stakeholders to become a trusted and valued business partner
· Establish client requirements, lead the investigation, development and implementation of strategic category plans, benchmarking and cost analysis techniques
· Assisting with the growth and development of the Procurement function to include developing and use of tools and templates, reporting and delivering training to business stakeholders
· Provide support on the development of and where appropriate directly manage key supplier relationships to improve delivery performance
Procurement in the UK’s largest armed forces charity offers a fulfilling blend of meaningful impact, professional growth, collaborative work and stimulating challenges. - Assist the Head of Digital and wider digital team in the management of the current website as well as the new website. This includes regular updates, page creation for campaigns and search engine optimisation.
- Create deadlines and action items to achieve the end goal, and be the point person for the management of each item.
- Manage communication to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date
- Deliver the project on time and within budget.
- Assist the Head of Digital in creating a Standard Operating Procedure for management of the website once it’s up and running.
Essential experience, skills and knowledge required for the Website Manager role:
- Established Website manager with at least 2 years’ experience of managing websites daily
- Experience of large-scale website projects including CRM/Database integrations is key
- Proven skills of managing all elements of a project from end to end including agency management, stakeholder management, build, design, testing and any relevant integration of co-dependent data ie. CRM system
- Exceptional PM skills including timing and budget control and ensuring internal team is kept up to date at all times
- Strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture whilst being operational
- CRM/UX/UI: Expert in content management systems and have extensive experience in developing user journeys, optimising user experience and delivering multi variate testing
- Excellent PC and web skills
- A great understanding of SEO and the impact of actions on search visibility

We are working with Ark Cancer Charity who are looking to appoint an experienced Fundraising Manager with demonstrable success in fundraising and marketing, and charity governance knowledge.
Ark Cancer Charity is an ambitious award-winning cancer charity that has raised significant donations both for capital and revenue projects benefitting patients using cancer services at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT).
In this newly created post, the Fundraising Manager will work collaboratively with the charity’s board and Head of Charity to shape their income generation for the next three years to enable them to meet the demand for their unique patient centred wellbeing services.
With a hands-on approach you will have:
- At least three years charity/third sector experience, including in a management role and,
- Experience of operating and engaging within complex stakeholder networks, of building partnerships externally and of fulfilling an ambassadorial role.
- Developed multi-channel, multi-year fundraising plan(s), excellent budget management and work to an agreed financial target.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with trustee board members and effectively manage volunteers.
