Role summary:
The Creative Marketing Strategist will lead the implementation and optimisation of Seen & Unseen’s digital marketing and communications strategy, driving our social media paid and organic efforts, managing agency relationships, and collaborating with internal teams. This role will balance creative vision with data-driven insights, ensuring that content is aligned with strategic objectives and effectively reaches our target audience.
Key responsibilities:
- Project management: Oversee and manage the implementation of Seen & Unseen’s digital marketing and communications strategy, working in close collaboration with our marketing agency and senior leadership team to ensure alignment with CCW’s overarching objectives.
- Strategic marketing input: Provide expert guidance on channel selection, content creation, and paid and organic social media strategies to effectively meet Seen & Unseen’s marketing goals, optimising content across platforms.
- Agency management: Act as the primary contact for our marketing agency, ensuring high-quality, cohesive output. Prepare clear, strategic briefs for creative concepts, media planning, content production, and graphic design that align with strategic goals.
- Performance measurement & KPIs: In collaboration with senior leadership, define key performance indicators (KPIs), track campaign performance, and provide actionable insights. Utilise data and analytics to refine strategies, improve future campaigns, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Creative ideation & content creation: Identify opportunities and develop innovative creative concepts that align with Seen & Unseen’s objectives. Create engaging, high-quality digital content for social media as and when required.
- Content optimisation: Analyse and evaluate content reach and engagement, leveraging insights to inform the editorial direction and content strategy.

Policy Manager
We’re looking for a high-performing, collaborative and proactive manager to lead a talented, dynamic policy team on a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.
Position: CE338 Policy Manager
Location: Homebased, UK nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Policy and Influencing, the Policy Manager leads the policy work and the development of UK-wide, evidence-based policy positions on key issues affecting stroke survivors or those at risk of stroke. Working closely with the Policy and Influencing team, devolved nations’ leads as well as other Association teams, they will consult with internal and external experts as well as stroke survivors as part of the policy development process and ensure final positions are disseminated and used effectively.
In a busy health policy arena, the Policy Manager oversees the identification and drafting of organisational consultation responses, ensuring submissions are backed up by evidence, informed by those affected by stroke and have impact with policy makers and audiences.
The Policy Manager is an astute, experienced policy lead. Providing expert policy advice and support to colleagues across the organisation including local system leaders, they contribute to effective horizon scanning and message development to ensure the organisation is prepared for announcements and events in the external environment. The Policy Manager will also represent the Association at external events and sit on like-minded coalitions. They also support the public affairs work when necessary, and provide policy support for the Chief Executive and other senior leaders by preparing presentations when required.
This role will be provided on a fixed term basis, to cover maternity leave within the team.
About You
As Policy Manager, you will be educated to degree level or relevant demonstrable industry experience and be willing to undertake training and continuing professional development. You’ll be a flexible team player and solutions-focussed.
You will ideally have experience of:
• Overseeing evidence-based policy positions, statements and consultation responses (or equivalent)
• Building relationships with senior policy stakeholders and stakeholder mapping and management
• Meaningfully involving beneficiaries in policy work
• Developing briefings for a range of audiences, for example parliamentarians and senior colleagues

About James’ Place
James’ Place Charity was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts, but didn’t find it.
James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. James’ Place offers men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.
The first James’ Place opened in June 2018 in Liverpool, the first of its kind in the UK, and has to date supported more than 2,300 men experiencing suicidal crisis through our innovative and safe therapeutic intervention. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centre and in our landscaped garden, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families.
In 2022 we opened a new centre in London and in early in 2023 we launched an appeal to raise over £10m to fund three more centres across the country. Our third centre opened in Newcastle at the beginning of 2024, and we are currently raising funds to open a James’ Place in Brimingham.
The Fundraising and Communications team
We are a small team with big ambitions. The team comprises a Head of Fundraising and Communications, two Fundraising Managers, a Senior Communications Manager and a Senior Outreach Officer. Fundraising Executive
We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Executive to support our fundraising and communications activities and be part of our small and dedicated team. Coeliac UK currently has an exciting opportunity for a Interim Database Manager, to join our team in High Wycombe. You will join us on a full time, fixed-term contract for three months. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £44,000 - £50,000 per annum pro-rated depending on experience.
Coeliac UK represents over 60,000 members providing information and support to those affected by coeliac disease or following a gluten free diet. We also campaign on behalf of all those living with coeliac disease and undertake research into the causes of the disease.
The Interim Database Manager role:
As our Interim Database Manager, you will be responsible for the management and ongoing development of our CRM system and all associated data. As a member charity having been established almost 60 years ago and with over 63,000 active members, we have significant volumes of valuable data. We are looking for an interim Database Manager to deliver existing projects and progress future development plans.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in database and data management, a natural interest in data analysis and ideally be an expert in WorkBooks. The role is a central one, working with all Directorates across the charity, so strong communication skills and teamwork is also a pre-requisite.
Key responsibilities of the Interim Database Manager:
- To manage and maintain the master data for all the charity’s areas of work
- To be the lead on specific projects to develop our data resources including working with external consultants to build APIs
