The Head of Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations is a strategic and dynamic leadership position within the Policy and External Affairs directorate. You will lead and manage our influencing and engagement work with key policy, government, political and wider sector stakeholders. Your role will be essential in fostering and maintaining our corporate narrative and in building relationships that support our organizational objectives.
This role requires a deep understanding of Youth Futures’ policy work, our strategic corporate objectives together with the outside policy, political and sector landscape. The individual needs to have strong organizational and project management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders.
The role will be a permanent job share 24.45 hours a week. Working days will be Monday to Wednesday.
This role can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds and we currently operate a hybrid working model.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a full time Creative Strategist who will play a key role in developing and producing strategic and creative projects for our charity clients.
Working closely with our Creative Director and a talented team of storytellers, you will develop creative strategies that drive action and create change.
You’ll also be responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of Catsnake’s marketing output, ensuring our own story continues to be told in an engaging and impactful way.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop innovative creative strategies for social media, paid media and content marketing.
- Conduct relevant desk research to inform strategy and audience insights.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to develop and test audience insights and key messages.
- Analyse research and test performance data to provide actionable insights.
- Work with and inspire a team of writers, designers, and storytellers to bring creative ideas to life.
- Ensure all creative outputs align with client goals, maintaining brand voice and driving measurable results.
- Create pitch decks and insight documents and present work confidently to clients.
- Stay on top of industry trends and apply them to creative solutions.
- Oversee Catsnake’s marketing efforts, including planning and executing content strategies, managing social media presence, and maintaining the website, to ensure our story is told effectively and consistently.
Project Management:
- Work with project managers to ensure creative solutions are aligned with overall project objectives and timelines.
- Facilitate the development of creative concepts and oversee the production process.
- Ensure high standards of quality, creativity, and delivery on time and within budget.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, ideally within a creative agency environment.
- Strong writing experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates relevant work.
- Proven experience in developing and executing creative strategies across various media, including digital and traditional platforms.
- Experience developing and optimising social media campaigns, with the ability to track and report on engagement.
- Experiencing in branding is highly desirable.
- Experience working with charities is highly desirable.

You will have experience working in a Trust Fundraising role and proven track record of raising/growing income at four and five level gifts. You will be ambitious and enthusiastic, with experience of prospect research techniques and managing a Trusts and Foundations pipeline. You will also be an excellent communicator, with experience writing engaging fundraising proposals and reports to Trusts and Foundations.

Job Title: Hackney Service Engagement Lead

About us at the NCT
A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable Service Engagement Lead to manage, coordinate and support both the Infant feeding and Parenting course projects. This role is split between being out in the community and working from home, it will include regular travel across the Hackney borough (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
Working closely with the Hackney Parent Support team, you will be responsible for the service engagement and promotion of our community-based services across Hackney. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Line managing the paid peer supporters within the Hackney staff team.
· Coordinating and maintaining the active social media and Infant Feeding Services website.
· Advertising volunteering opportunities across varying platforms including social media and in person at local events.
· Provide clear guidance and information to potential volunteers on the roles, responsibilities and training requirements.
· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all support groups are accessible and inclusive.
· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.
· Coordinate and deliver the Breast Pump Hire Service across the Borough.
· Build and maintain relationships with local organisations and the children’s and family hubs
You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires experience of giving breastmilk. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
The role is 28 hours per week, with the hours worked across the week between the core hours of 9-5, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is role is based out in the community within Hackney with some home working.

About the role
We’re looking for a senior officer to join our talented and ambitious brand marketing and planning team, to work on our marketing campaigns, to support the brand strategy. The Head of Philanthropy will secure and cultivate major donor relationships, growing our existing giving programmes and helping to deliver our overall fundraising strategy. With the Development Director, they will continue to build our prospect pipeline to support Assisted Places fundraising.
Additionally, there may be involvement with a small number of other discrete fundraising projects. Community is a vital part of our schools’ ethos and the Head of Philanthropy will play their part in strengthening this ethos. THE ROLE
NEA is looking to appoint new Warm and Safe Homes (WASH) Advice Line Co-ordinator posts on a full time (37 hours per week) basis; but we are happy to receive applications from candidates who may wish to work part time hours as we would be prepared to appoint posts as job share opportunities. WASH Advice Line Co-ordinators will be the first point of contact for vulnerable householders who are contacting the charity for a range of energy related advice matters. Co-ordinators will need to be empathetic, polite and have good listening skills but may also need you to be assertive and confident in order to provide support to clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.
Whilst call centre or customer service experience will be advantageous, empathy and an ability to understand client needs is paramount and our training will give successful candidates the knowledge to succeed in the role.
The post holder’s main responsibilities will be to deal with customer and partner emails, calls, live chats and off- line tasks. These will include:

Provision of day-to-day support to our customers and partners (referral organisations) on any queries, or issues, through answering telephones calls and emails.

Process, resolve or escalate client queries within the WASH and wider team in line with the internal process.

As a WASH Advice Line Co-ordinator, you’ll be in the front line of the provision of solutions to client queries and issues as part of a wider team.

Maintenance of appropriate client records and necessary data using client management systems to ensure the progress of work towards project targets is monitored and that project outcomes are fully recorded.
The post holders will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects which will demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders.
The posts sit within the Communities Directorate and are part of a dynamic and caring team of professionals who go the extra mile to support their clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
You should be able to demonstrate understanding or experience of energy efficiency, you will be empathetic and be a good listener – as well as demonstrable experience of responding to the needs of clients in direct contact settings. You will have the ability to work with a wide range of people and demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable householders, low income and/or other disadvantaged groups.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with a range of communities and individuals.
An awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them, is desirable, although not essential.
NEA has several office locations throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and welcomes applicants from all regions. Key responsibilities of the role

But we expect you to use your analytical skills to develop an excellent understanding of the subjects at hand and produce a robust first draft. In practice, we will expect you to:
- Develop expert knowledge in specific policy areas relevant to gender equality in Wales;
- Contribute to primary data collection by supporting the design, fieldwork and evaluation of surveys, interviews and focus groups;
- Prepare clear briefings, reports and responses to Welsh Government and Senedd consultations, working with relevant team members and partner organisations as necessary;
- Analyse and visually represent data from trusted sources;
- Review and adequately reference policy and academic literature and maintain a high standard of accuracy.
Advocacy: To ensure our research and policy recommendations have an impact, you will contribute to our advocacy work by supporting the Policy and Public Affairs Manager in developing and fostering relationships with policy makers and other key stakeholders. In practice, you will:
- Monitor parliamentary activity in our key work areas, flag relevant developments with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager and other staff members as appropriate;
- Work with the Head of Communications and Engagement to promote WEN Wales’ policy recommendations and reports to our members and other audiences.
- Represent and speak on behalf of WEN Wales at meetings and events where appropriate;
