As an Educational Partnerships Regional Manager you will be a key contributor to the regional strategy working very much in a one team environment whilst giving you the space to grow and develop your skills. Your role as Educational Partnerships Regional Manager will see you work directly with young people and teachers in schools that take part in Young Enterprise programmes such as company programme, day programmes and digital programmes. You will also oversee regional relationships, at local authority level or equivalent.
The Educational Partnerships Regional Manager role involves being flexible to the needs of the region and your team and to provide regional leadership. Some of the duties include, which is not an exhaustive list.
• Deliver and or support the delivery of Young Enterprise programmes and services in schools, colleges, universities, and youth centres.
• Work as part of the regional team to proactively identify and generate sources of local income to support YE programmes.
• Manage and monitor KPIs and local contracts associated with the above tasks through the regional operations plan set out by the Regional Manager.
• Work with the local YE Volunteer Team (LVT), providing support, direction and opportunities to engage with local activity, which may include fundraising, volunteering on programmes and / or promoting our programmes to new school.
• Work closely with Programmes & Services team to support the development and delivery of our full suite of programmes, while also developing your own knowledge and understanding of our full suite of programmes and services to promote to schools.

Overview
The Operations and Systems Manager is a key role in the Operations Team and will focus on ensuring that our staff, all home-working and many based internationally, can engage positively with Global Dialogue’s operational systems and processes. The scope of the role covers IT and digital tools, digital security, data management, HR, insurance and travel, as well as the organisation’s equipment, and health and safety protocols.
Job Description
- Responsible for the maintenance and development of systems and processes that support Global Dialogue’s operations across a range of functions.
- Provide operational support to programme staff across the organisation as needs arise.

The Vacancy
The Programme Development Manager is committed to supporting colleagues and partners in programme design and development. The team also connects programmatic issues and global policy and advocacy to ensure they are complementary and conducive to external change based on evidence from the ground.
Saferworld’s income is secured primarily from statutory and institutional donors; however, securing funding to support our partners in conflict-affected countries and allow for more flexible programming increasingly requires a more diverse funding base. The Programme Development Manager will support efforts to identify and secure funds from statutory donors, trusts and foundations, and other non-traditional funding mechanisms.
The Programme Development Manager will support a portfolio of Saferworld’s teams in designing and mobilising funding for peace, security and justice programmes. The successful applicant will have a focus of approximately 4 countries, which will be decided based on the candidate’s experience and preference. Working closely with Country Managers/Directors, and programme and grant management colleagues, the post-holder will lead on: coordinating and facilitating programme development processes (including taking the lead in drafting high quality concept notes and proposals, theories of change, logical models, risk matrixes and budgets); developing and supporting the implementation of long-term country funding strategies and donor engagement strategies; and supporting new donor engagement and sustaining relationships with current donors. The post-holder will be responsible for growing institutional funding portfolios in our programmes.
The post-holder will have a successful track record in developing programmes and leading new business development efforts with institutional donors such as the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), United States Government (USG)/United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the European Union (EU), UN agencies and European Governments such as Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). Additional experience in mobilising resource from trusts and foundations and other non-traditional funding mechanisms is desirable.
They will have proven skills and experience in programme management and support, successful programme design processes and bid leadership.

This pivotal new role will be responsible for securing high-value, seven-figure (financial and non-financial) partnerships with corporate entities that protect and empower refugees globally.

The Diversity & Inclusion Working Group is a group of colleagues focusing on tasks that drive action in the implementation of our D&I Approach. The group also works to create safe spaces that brings colleagues together for events, discussions and learning experiences that celebrate and support diversity and tackle barriers to inclusion.

Role Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a new comprehensive business development strategy that will lead to seven-figure, sustainable corporate partnerships, delivering both unrestricted and restricted income.
- Coordinate market research to identify potential high value, strategic corporate partners that can deliver income, visibility and shared value for UK for UNHCR and UNHCR.
- Proactively approach prospects for partnership discussions.
- Develop stewardship plans for top prospects, ensuring full use of senior leadership, technical colleagues and established private sector network.
- Develop unique combined financial and non-financial partnership propositions that lead to transformational partnerships.
- Lead the prospecting cycle: from first meeting, through to opportunity development, through to negotiation and contracting.
- Supervise and mentor a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Philanthropy and Communications, to align partnership efforts with organisational priorities.
- Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities at pace.
- Represent UK for UNHCR at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and build connections.

Personal Attributes and Experience
Essential Experience
- Proven track record of securing seven-figure corporate partnerships.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing new business strategies.
- Experience in partnership negotiation.
- Experience of communicating complex themes and subjects to a variety of audiences, written and verbal.
- Proven success across all types of corporate support, including grant-based, brand-led, pro bono, in-kind and employee engagement.
- Managing, forecasting and monitoring budgets to deliver against income and expenditure targets
- Management and development of direct line reports.
Essential Skills/Knowledge
- Deep understanding of charity-corporate partnerships and the business case behind mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication skills that inspire action from audiences.
- Distil complex information and themes into tangible, impactful partnership propositions.
- Prioritise and work at pace, sometimes under pressure.
- Creative and collaborative working style, and able to adapt to differing needs and priorities of teams spread across multiple locations.
- Strong IT skills to produce high quality proposals, presentations, and reports.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- Business development in an international development or humanitarian organisation.
- Knowledge of sustainable and innovative financing mechanisms.
- Previous use of Salesforce.
- Awareness and understanding of CSRD and its potential implications.
- Ability to work flexibly and travel, and to work unsocial hours on occasion, as required.
