Retail Area Manager - The Role:

- Outstanding track record in achieving sales and profit targets within retail or charity management

- Demonstrable experience in analysing financial data to make informed commercial decisions
- Experience of distance managing a diverse team of people

In this role you will be a key member of the Complex Specialist Directorate operating across Look Ahead's geography in Learning Disability and Autism services. The Clinical Lead will be a qualified Behaviour Analyst, responsible for conducting assessments, deciding most appropriate PBS interventions and supporting service teams to deliver effective strategies and develop practice. The postholder will be expected to obtain information from all relevant stakeholders to inform decision making. What you'll do:
To be successful the postholder will demonstrate capacity to implement sustainable, person-centred PBS interventions working collaboratively with Look Ahead PBS Coaches, Service Managers and wider stakeholders.

- Conducting initial needs assessments from referrals

- Performing Functional Assessments for PBS planning

You will:

Our client
Morgan Hunt is working with a large, Northwest based Housing Association who are looking to recruit 2 Housing Officers. 1 Housing Officer will cover North and the other South Manchester. Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this is initially for a period of 8 weeks, with the potential for extension depending on how the permanent recruitment process goes.
As a Housing Officer you will be required to;
- Be present in the neighbourhoods, undertaking regular estate inspections and monitoring of neighbourhood service contracts, addressing property and estate management issues, and taking steps to address any contract under performance.
- Handling tenancy-related queries in accordance with contractual requirements, policies, and frameworks.

The successful candidate
- Either have or be working towards a housing qualification.
- Experience of working in the housing sector and in a similar role.
- Good working understanding of effective estate and tenancy management. Experience of delivering a range of tenancy management related services and being able to offer a proactive approach in the identification of tenancy issues and resolution.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment, with a proven ability of delivering a high standard of customer service tailored to an individual's needs.
- Proven relationship builder with experience of effective collaborative working with external partners.
- Ability to coach customers to help them problem solve.

To do this, we are recruiting for a Director of Youth and Family Services to lead and manage operational service delivery and the delivery of our outreach and community engagement in and around west London. The Director will ensure the delivery of excellent services through innovation and co-production and foster an organisational culture that strengthens our brand and stays true to the values and mission of RPT and P3 Charity. You will embed a people-first, values-based ethos and maintain an environment where safeguarding is central. You will support the retention and development of both existing and new programmes in conjunction with the Director of Fundraising & Communications and in line with the values and strategic vision of the organisation. In addition, you will be an integral member of P3’s Senior Leadership Team, manage a number of operational leads, and work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to support the development and long-term vision of RPT and P3 Charity.
The successful candidate will have grass roots experience relating to youth work with an understanding of the challenges that face young people. In addition you will have experience of developing and delivering youth/family services having worked at a senior and strategic level. You will have led on change management and transformation projects, with demonstrable experience of managing and leading teams effectively. A people person at heart, you will enjoy working in a busy, vibrant environment with the ability to build relationships at all levels and be confident acting as an ambassador for the charity. You will be solutions focused and well versed in providing operational leadership in a similar environmental, with a good understand of the complexities and challenges that face a youth/community organisation such as RPT. You will ensure the wellbeing and safety of all stakeholders and staff and be able to demonstrate experience of having done this previously in a leadership role. About The Team
The Advice team at our Plymouth Hub delivers legal aid funded and non-legal aid funded work throughout Devon and Cornwall. Also based at the Hub are members of our Lived Experience team, who deliver a range of activities with the aim of ensuring the views and experiences of individuals with lived experience of bad housing or homelessness informs all of Shelter’s work and a Community Organiser who works with the local community to fight the housing emergency. People are at the heart of the services we offer and, in order to keep growing and evolving to suit the communities we work with and bring about real change, we need to understand what really matters for people.
Our Legal Service provides specialist legal knowledge across Shelter through four teams covering Community Legal advice, Strategic Litigation, the National Legal Team and Legal Support Team. You will be part of our Community Legal Team, who are based across our 11 hub locations and work alongside hub colleagues every day to fight housing injustice and deliver systemic change relating to housing practice in our local communities.
About the role
Using your legal expertise, you will play a key role in tackling housing in justice and unfair housing practices. You will be working under our Legal Aid contract, delivering legal advice and representing tenants at court where needed. Delivering systemic change through legal challenge to prevent homeless will also be a considerable part of the role.
About You
Qualified as a Solicitor, you will have a strong knowledge of housing law and be used to managing your own caseload. You have strong skills in advocacy, litigation, and file reviews. If you meet the Supervisor status for legal aid purposes that would be preferable but isn’t essential, as is experience of working under a legal aid contract.
