The role
This pivotal new role will play a central part in shaping and delivering an innovative logistics strategy to support FareShare’s rapid growth and ensure the efficient and safe transportation of food across the FareShare Network.
As FareShare continues to scale, this role is key to optimising our transport operations—streamlining processes, leveraging data-driven insights, and implementing innovative solutions to deliver food in a timely and cost-effective manner while upholding our commitment to fairness and accessibility.
The successful candidate will lead our relationships with leading transport and logistics providers, working closely with the haulage industry to align national and local transport solutions. This role demands an analytical mindset, a proven track record of driving efficiency, and the ability to identify new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
We are seeking an experienced professional from the logistics and transport sector, ideally with expertise in food distribution. Main areas of responsibility
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimise logistics operations, identifying efficiencies, cost savings, and opportunities to enhance service provision.
- Create and utilise logistics load forecasting models to improve planning and operational readiness.
- Work across teams—including Supply Chain, Food, Network, and Operations—to design tailored transport solutions that align with specific circumstances and operational goals.
- P&L management/ownership, financial planning and cost optimisation
- Change management (implementation of new solutions)
- Proposing and leading ‘best in class’ logistics transport initiatives for the organisation
- Ensure compliance with financial protocols while driving cost efficiencies in collaboration with partners and suppliers.

Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- 5+ years experience working within supply chain and logistics
- Extensive leadership experience in a senior logistics role
- Strategic planning and execution experience, in a logistics setting
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning and cost optimisation
- Familiarity with relevant laws, including health and safety, environmental and transport regulations
- Multi-site transport management experience
- Proven ability to track and achieve performance metrics such as delivery times, costs and customer satisfaction
- Experience managing transport budgets of £5m+
- Experience managing 3PL contracts
- Experience managing in-house and contracted primary logistics
- Track record of implementing process improvements and innovative solutions
- Excellent organisational skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment

About the Role
The Corporate Fundraiser will work closely with the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager to secure new relationships across the Fylde Coat, developing a pipeline of sustainable income. You will identify and secure new opportunities, including corporate partnerships, sponsorships, CRM initiatives, Charity of the Year programs, and gift in-kind donations. Corporate is a very well-established income stream within the fundraising team, but there is still lots of opportunity to grow by building on the brilliant 40 year reputation of donor care and fundraising products.
Working collaboratively with the fundraising team, you will help prepare and deliver corporate sponsorship proposals for all Trinity Hospice events, products and campaigns. You will also plan and facilitate corporate engagement events with the aim of increasing brand awareness amongst local businesses and convert corporate supporters. You'll maintain a donor-centric approach to fundraising, ensuring that current supporters feel appreciated and building long-term holistic relationships.
About You
This role would suit someone who is a natural relationship builder with a talent for finding creative ways to connect with corporate supporters while attracting new businesses opportunities. You'll have worked in a fundraising or business development environment before and will have a track record of meeting financial targets and balancing a demanding workload with competing deadlines.

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Co-ordinator to be responsible for the provision of quality customer service and the management of orders through our supply chain as we continue to grow.
About the Role:
The successful applicant will work to approved standard and service level agreements to provide excellent customer service for Zotefoams by assisting the team to achieve on time delivery targets. This will be done by analysing customer order behaviours to deliver supply chain improvement on a variety of projects. Role Responsibilities:

Experience and desirable skills:
- Experience of working in a B2B supply chain environment is essential.

Main purpose of the role:
The Volunteer Coordinator will provide effective coordination, administration and support to volunteers including recruitment and orientation. The Directorate
The Communications Team sits within the Marketing and Communications (MarComms) Team. The MarComms Team builds brand awareness and engagement among the public, builds our profile with the media and key stakeholders, and supports fundraising activities to generate fundraising income to keep the service running. We're looking for a Clinical Quality and Governance Lead to steer the creation, delivery, implementation and ongoing development of the clinical governance policy, framework, and practice as part of Children's Service operations.

This is a maternity cover role with a fixed-term contract of twelve months.
Given the close connection with women who have faced trauma and experienced violence and the faith-based nature of the charity culture, there are Genuine Occupational Requirements (as set out in the Equality Act 2010) for the postholder to be female and actively supportive of the Christian faith.

About Strength & Stem
Strength & Stem is a charity and social enterprise that uses floristry to help female modern slavery survivors experience restoration and empowerment.
Our core programme, “Flowers for the Future”, is led by a small staff team and runs annually from May to January in Kings Cross London. Over nine months, participants complete vocational floristry training, prevocational and wellbeing skills training, mentorship, and work experience to increase their agency, strengthen relationships and wellbeing, and become prepared for employment.
