Purpose of the job/About the role
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate Fundraising Community Coordinator to join our virtual events team. You will play a crucial part in managing the Facebook Groups for our events, ensuring an exceptional experience for our dedicated supporters.
As the Fundraising Community Coordinator you will be responsible for posting on our Facebook Groups, supporting the Virtual Events Assistant to create engaging content that will inspire and uplift our supporters, driving positive interactions within the community. You will actively engage with supporter posts, promptly responding to inquiries, and extend warm welcomes to new members. You will also assist with the development of the supporter experience, including helping to improve fundraising resources, creating FAQ’s and gathering compelling case studies to further drive support. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the whole team, acknowledging donations, and offering an exceptional experience to our event supporters via phone, email and Facebook, becoming a Facebook fundraising expert.
To succeed in this role will have a proven track record of building positive relationships, networking, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will have experience of following processes and have strong organisational and planning skills. Experience in managing Facebook groups and utilising databases will be highly beneficial. What are we looking for?
Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, with considerable experience in clinical research.
Experience of building nurse teams is essential. Strong leadership skills. You will drive purpose and direction within complex organisational structures.
Comprehensive knowledge of UK clinical trial, regulations and experience in supporting clinical research capacity and infrastructure. Experience in neurodegeneration or life-limiting illness studies is preferrable.
Proven experience of service development and implementing large scale change. Ensuring continuous improvement in our approach.
You will be translating complex information to various audiences and representing our organisation at national and international levels.

About EFA
English for Action provides free, participatory, and empowering English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for migrants in London. Our classes are spaces to build community and support students to organise collectively around issues like employment and housing rights. Our work currently supports around 400 adult migrants across London. We’ve become a national centre of good practice for a radical participatory approach to ESOL, informed by the work of Paulo Freire, and we share this approach through training, research and partnerships.
Organisation: We are a staff team of 8 people supported by a larger team of volunteers and 9 trustees. EFA promotes shared leadership and collaboration and we aim for our organisational structure to reflect this. In the last 4 years we’ve transitioned away from having a CEO to an executive team to oversee operations and decision-making. As a charity, ultimate responsibility for, and control of, the organisation lies with the Board of Trustees.
Fundraising at EFA: We have one permanent fundraiser at EFA, who works two days per week on this area of work. About this job
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Safeguarding professional, with a strong interest in protecting adults at risk and children from harm, within the wider Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Community?
Based within our Helpline Services team, you’ll have responsibility for:
- Responding to concerns reported by staff and volunteers
- Leading the coordination of responding to safeguarding concerns
- Dealing with safeguarding issues (as they arise) and liaising with statutory services as needed
- Giving advice and support to colleagues and our volunteers in relation to safeguarding and disclosure checking
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the society
- Liaising with external safeguarding agencies
- Embedding organisational safeguarding policies, procedures and practices across the society
You’ll have experience of working in a safeguarding customer-facing environment within the Charity or Public Service sectors. You’ll have proficient administrative and IT skills with the ability to work accurately, consistently and independently. You’ll ideally have had experience in supporting vulnerable people in person, over the phone and or online.
An understanding of safeguarding within the Charity and Public Service sectors is essential.

The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. We are looking to recruit HOPELINE247 Advisors to provide individually tailored suicide prevention advice and guidance to young people and those who are concerned for them via our national multi-channel helpline HOPELINE247 and deliver suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.
What you will do:
• Work as part of a team providing suicide prevention support to a range of clients via multichannel communication platforms.
• Work on a 7-day shift system

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will work closely with the Director of Finance, CEO, Finance and Programmes teams, and colleagues across the income generating and external engagement team; supporting them to meet financial targets, provide excellent stewardship and to implement key administrative and financial processes.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as clients’ homes, hospitals, care homes and within community settings across the area to meet with clients and professionals. You will be home based for administration; therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.
About you
Desirably you will have some experience of working in advocacy, or providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education and support.
You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.

You will be responsible for ensuring the individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people you support.
You will support people to speak up for themselves and grow in confidence, equip them to understand and exercise their rights and options, and will assist them in the decision-making process relating to their care, treatment, and support.
You will work resourcefully and collaboratively with the individuals you support. You’ll be creative in your approach to empower our clients by ensuring you meaningfully explain people’s options and rights to them. You’ll support individuals to fully participate in decisions affecting them and will make sure they have their voices heard.
