An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced social and digital media professional to join the leading international horse charity World Horse Welfare.
The Social and Digital Media Officer plans, creates and publishes the charity’s social media and digital communications, ensuring accurate content and the right brand look, feel and messaging. Working to the Head of Communications and with the wider team, you will organise and proactively seek out stories and other content from across the charity to engage audiences through our digital media channels, including social platforms, the website and email. A key part of this role is testing and refining approaches to increase reach, engagement, website traffic and donations and to rigorously monitor and evaluate results to inform further activity.
We are looking for someone who has experience in the management of social media channels, a passion for social and digital media with a creative approach to engaging online audiences. You will possess first-rate written and oral communications skills, digital content creation including images and video, excellent attention to detail and the ability to write quality copy in a variety of styles quickly. You must be proactive, confident and capable of working with people at all levels in a variety of spheres. You must have a flexible approach to your work and be willing to work outside of normal office hours where necessary. Equine knowledge and experience is highly desirable.
The role is based in Norfolk and is a hybrid split of 2 days in our head office in Snetterton and 3 days at home. You may be required to attend events around the UK and visit the charity’s four rescue and rehoming centres to gather content.

About the role

About you
We’re looking for an experienced marketing and communications manager who is passionate and enthusiastic about bringing to life the incredible work of our key partners – Asda Tickled Pink and People’s Postcode Lottery.
This is an important role for Breast Cancer Now and one which requires relevant experience in developing, delivering and evaluating integrated, multi-channel marketing and communications strategies. The role provides a great opportunity to work with stakeholders across the charity, and with our partners, to support the creation and delivery of marketing and communications. As such, you’ll possess excellent interpersonal skills and be adept at building and managing positive working relationships with people at all levels. You’ll be dedicated to finding innovative and creative marketing techniques and developing compelling narratives to reach target audiences and will have experience of managing and working beside creative teams, to support the creation and delivery of campaigns. You’ll also be experienced in measuring and evaluating campaigns and reporting back learnings and recommendations.
The successful candidate will be a confident and experienced project manager, able to work flexibly and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience of working on charity corporate partnerships would be preferred.

About the role

About the role
As one of our Senior Marketing Managers in the Brand team, you will be at the forefront of delivering the integrated Christmas campaign for 2025. Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will help leverage, manage, and integrate key partners, including agencies and teams across the organisation, to increase income through established fundraising and brand initiatives.
This role is essential in helping BHF provide information and support to everyone affected by cardiovascular disease.
About you
With a strong experience in developing and leading integrated brand campaigns, you’ll be both innovative and creative, with expertise in brand and visual identity management.
You’ll have a CIM/IDM or similar marketing qualification and a proven track record in leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, preferably in charity or health marketing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to brief.
Additionally, you have strong influencing and negotiating skills, with previous experience managing agencies and suppliers and fostering collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders, using diplomacy and empathy.
To be successful, you will be:

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to drive forward and innovate our digital marketing strategy, ensuring our online visibility, engagement and revenue are key enablers for our fundraising efforts.
Sitting within the Marketing and Communications team, this strategic role will focus on delivering impactful digital experiences to strengthen our brand presence, maximise audience reach and support growth. The role is primarily based at the charity office at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, with the requirement to also work from the charity office at Birmingham Women’s Hospital alongside some remote and out of hours working.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be accountable for the performance of our website, email, SEO, CRM, PPC and paid social, ensuring all our digital channels are optimised for both awareness and income generation. This hands-on role will see you lead the team to implement, deliver and evaluate exceptional and effective digital activity, using data and insight to inform decisions. To spearhead our digital marketing transformation, you’ll need to be an ambitious and experienced professional, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Your skills and passion will see you:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with our income growth objectives
• Shape the way we connect with our audiences, primarily through strategic (but not limited to) use of email, content creation, website management, SEO, PPC, paid social and CRM marketing
• Identify opportunities to maximise brand awareness, engagement and online revenue generation
• Track, analyse and report on digital performance metrics, providing actionable insights as well as data and market research to improve and inform digital marketing effectiveness
• Oversee the delivery, roll-out and continual improvement of a new website by setting the strategy, implementing SEO best practices and using data insight and analytics to improve visibility and traffic, as well as establishing engaging user journeys which increase conversion rates and improve fundraising campaigns
• Plan, execute and optimise bespoke digital campaigns, paid as well as organic, which leverage data to refine strategies, boost engagement, maximise reach and increase supporter interaction and brand advocacy
• Lead the creation, segmentation, automation and deployment of email and CRM campaigns to enhance audience journeys and maximise engagement and conversion, using performance and insights to inform improvements
• Maximise our paid advertising accounts, including Google Ads, monitoring performance to ensure they are data-driven, cost-efficient and deliver ROI as well as cross-selling opportunities
• Maintain a culture of data-driven decision making and bring visibility and transparency to marketing activity by regularly reporting impact against objectives, trend spotting as well as using a variety of data and analytics tools to raise the profile and understanding of digital marketing across the charity
• Safeguard the integrity of the charity’s digital presence ensuring it complies with data protection regulations, the Freedom of Information Act and any other applicable legislation.

The Role
The National Lottery Promotions Unit is seeking an experienced PR Campaigns Manager (14 month contract) to develop and implement creative campaigns, strengthening awareness of National Lottery Good Causes and connecting with target audiences.
In 2025-26, the NLPU will run a series of high-impact, nationwide campaigns demonstrating The National Lottery’s ability to change lives everyday. From developing sporting heroes to changing communities to investing our rich heritage, The National Lottery has an abundance of stories to tell of the difference our players make to the UK.
- You will help us connect our target audiences with The National Lottery brand making it feel relevant to them. You will have strong skills developing and managing creative PR campaigns across multiple channels. You will set and deliver against KPIs, informed by data and analytics.
- You will advance the NLPUs external voice through innovation and staying relevant with trends and best practices. You will proactively take advantage of relevant external opportunities.

You will develop and nurture positive relationships with journalists across all media, including national and local newspapers, consumer publications, radio, TV and online.

Essential Criteria
- Related experience and success in, planning, and delivering PR campaigns for a range of audiences in a multi-channel environment.
- Evidence of gaining high quality media coverage through national and local media outlets, with established relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle operational delivery with strategic thinking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to think creatively and to encourage others to.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships including influencing and negotiation at a senior level
- A can-do attitude and proactive mindset with demonstrable experience of being able to work well under your own steam as well as part of a team
- An understanding of analytical skills to help inform PR strategy, as well as good grounding in consumer media consumption
- Strong networking skills and ability to build good working relationships both internally and externally.
