We are currently seeking a highly motivated, confident individual with excellent organisational skills to take on maternity cover for the role of head of marketing, advertising and events.

Reporting to the executive director, you will be responsible for the sale of advertising space on our website, through email blasts to our mailing lists, via our weekly emails and within our quarterly print publication. You will also be responsible for the line management of event support, while managing our event programme which consists of up to 19 digital and in-person events per year. You will also be responsible for line management of the subscriptions manager, overseeing concurrent marketing projects, targeting key subscription areas, and ensuring a high level of renewals amongst our subscribers. Alongside this, there will be opportunities to represent Alliance at external events both in the UK and abroad. 

The successful candidate will have strong, persuasive oral and written communication skills, enjoy working in a small team, and have excellent organisation and time-management. The candidate will be a willing participant in all APT discussions and play an active part in driving the organisation forward.

• Lead responsibility for the marketing strategy to grow the circulation of Alliance

The Finance and Operations Officer will provide general support to the Head of Finance and Operations across the following areas: 

Office Management

• Managing day-to-day relationship with landlord

Terms and Conditions

• Location: Money and Mental Health’s central London office for at least 2 days per week with option for home working the rest of the time. The office is wheelchair accessible.

• Hours: 3 to 4 days (22.5 to 30 hours) a week. The charity has a flexible working policy with core hours of 10am - 3pm and remaining contracted hours distributed throughout the week flexibly. We are open to discussing other flexible arrangements, such as accommodating school runs.

Human Practice Foundation (HPF) is searching for a UK Country Manager to join the team and further establish the organisation in this market. The charity’s mission is to work sustainably and holistically to build schools and bring 1,000,000 children into a safe and empowering educational environment, with a focus in Nepal and Kenya. 

The UK Country Manager will prioritise continuing the growth of the charity’s funds and will work with an existing network of trusts & foundations and philanthropic individuals, as well as continuing to spread HPF’s message.

Human Practice Foundation (HPF) is an International NGO, founded in Denmark in 2014 by former corporate lawyer and HPF CEO, Pernille Kruse Madsen. After witnessing the devastating fates of girls being trafficked from Nepal to India for sexual exploitation, Pernille decided to commit her life to providing education and opportunities for those who need it the most. 

Today, HPF has registered charities in Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK as well as independent NGOs in Nepal and Kenya. The organisation employs 90 people and follows a holistic community approach, using schools as a platform for change. HPF builds schools, improves infrastructure, implements quality education programmes, and stimulates local economies through business building and agricultural impact programmes. To date, Human Practice Foundations has raised over USD 20 million globally (£2 million in the UK since 2019). HPF utilised this funding for more than 100 school projects supporting over 40,000 children, their teaching staff, families, and surrounding communities. The context for this role: 

This new position, created to lead HPF’s mission in the UK, and lead Trust and Foundation fundraising efforts globally, is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to build on HPF’s success and grow its income from UK and international foundations, institutions and corporations, as well as UK-based high net worth individuals. 

HPF seeks a highly motivated, experienced and successful fundraising professional with the vision and skills to develop and deliver a new three-year fundraising strategy, taking UK income from £270k per annum to £500k+. Role Description

We are looking for a senior leader, with extensive experience in education project and/or programme management, who can lead a fast-growing team within a mission-driven organisation. You will be a core member of the Executive Leadership Team, in particular working closely with the interim CEO, the Chief Operations Officer, the Director of Impact and the charity’s Senior Programmes Leaders. You will have direct exposure to the Board of Trustees and the unique opportunity to fundamentally shape the organisation and its direction.

The Chief Programmes Officer will be responsible for all aspects of programme delivery, including providing strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of the programmes delivery team, business development and stakeholder management with new partners in further education, and reviewing and improving delivery across all our programmes. As Exams Assistant you will support the day to day running of the examinations with a particular focus on question bank management. You will be working with the Examinations Team and examiners across all specialties. This will include supporting examiner panels to organise and run question writing sessions and ensuring that question banks remain up to date.

You will also have a number of other examination-related duties, including – but not limited to – processing applications, invigilating at examination and collating examination results.

We’re seeking a brilliant person - or people - to join the team as Philanthropy Manager at an exciting time for the Centre with construction about to begin on our new home.

The Philanthropy Manager will secure gifts from Individuals, Trusts and Foundations in the range of £1,000-£50,000+, and will work closely with the Head of Development, Centre Director and Board to steward gifts at the £50,000+ level.

You will be a relationship-focused fundraiser with experience of face-to-face fundraising, excited by the opportunity to play a key part in launching a major new cultural institution. You will use your experience and key moments on the way to opening to refine, refresh and grow our established giving circles. You will also identify and develop new ways that individuals can support the Centre and our programming before we open our doors in February 2026.

You will be an inspiring and committed ambassador for the Centre and its mission, in person and in writing. You will also be a great team-player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues across the Centre to deliver a dynamic and creative programme of donor cultivation and stewardship. Finance and Resources Manager (Full Time)

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.  

Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. AAFDA’s prime function is to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.

As a growing charity, AAFDA is looking for an exceptional candidate to join our supportive team and lead our finance and resource management functions. The role will provide and manage the HR, administration and finance activities of the charity and sit within the Senior Leadership Team.

The Role

As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in our Strategic Management Team (SMT), providing financial leadership that aligns with our bold strategy. Your Profile

The ideal candidate will have a distinguished career in finance, ideally within the non-profit or related sectors, and a proven track record at the Finance Director or CFO level in a multi-country context. Key attributes include:

• A recognised professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, FCA, CPA).
• Extensive experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and managing financial operations in a complex, global environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead a geographically dispersed team.
• Deep understanding of diverse regulatory environments, particularly those relevant to Swiss Foundations.
• Expertise in donor and project funding, FOREX, and cash optimisation in a non-profit context.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including Board members, donors, and non-financial staff.

The Group Finance Director holds a key role in the executive team in the Foundation Office of the Charity.  They are accountable for all matters relating to the UWGCF Charity finance, including the oversight of school income, endowment investments, loans, subsidiary companies, VAT, and the leadership of the Foundation finance team.  To succeed in the job, the post holder needs to build effective working relationships with independent school bursars and finance teams and link effectively with the Business managers in the state funded academies.

The UWGCF is a complex organisation, and the post holder will need to demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build effective and supportive working relationships with other and be prepared to engage fully in the work of the Foundation. This may mean working outside of normal working hours but most importantly means communicating and work with colleagues as part of the team.

Initially they will report to the Chair of Trustees, although following a Governance Review and further work on Foundation Strategy, the Trustees may appoint a Foundation CEO.  In the meantime the Foundation Office is led by a joint executive comprising three executives: Director of Governance and Operations, Director of HR, and Director of Finance.
