We are looking for an empathetic and proactive Regional Manager to join our team. Job Purpose:
To develop and implement strategies to raise funds through community engagement and events. About the role
We are looking for a Driver and Admin Assistant who will be responsible for transporting office staff, visiting Sightsavers personnel, and consultants as needed. The Driver will also ensure the maintenance and safety of all office vehicles. Additionally, the Driver will perform clerical duties to support the efficient operation of the office.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely within the laws of Benin at all times and with respect for other road users and pedestrians.
- Pick up Sightsavers staff to and from the airport where this service is not outsourced.
- Check fuel, oil, and water daily and fill up as necessary.
- Keep vehicles in a clean condition inside and outside.
- Undertake routine maintenance of vehicles, including simple repairs.
- Ensure vehicles are regularly serviced and advise the Finance & Administrative Assistant when servicing is required and/or when defects/problems arise.
- Make sure all vehicles have reflectors, fire extinguishers, first aid boxes, etc. First aid boxes for the vehicles must be checked regularly to ensure that items used are promptly replenished.
- Keep a maintenance record of vehicles
- Maintain liaison with officials of immigration and embassies for staff entry visas and renewal of passports and work permits.
- Assist in picking up invoices for procuring logistics.
- Perform other duties as required.

Skills and Experience
The Driver and Admin Assistant will be a responsible and experienced driver with a valid driving licence and a proven track record of driving safely within the laws of Benin. To succeed in this role you will need:

About the role
The Program Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of NTD projects in Benin. This position is responsible for managing projects within budget and on schedule, collaborating closely with partners to meet agreed timelines and project documentation requirements. Your expertise will help drive impactful change and support the elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases in the region.
Principle Accountabilities
- Assist staff seconded to government to manage effective implementation of planned activities, including adherence to timelines and coordinating review and feedback from technical teams.
- Monitor programme activities against project goals and donor commitments, identify operational bottlenecks or weaknesses, and work collaboratively with country-based and global teams to achieve exceptional results on aggressive timelines.
- Provide direct support to surveillance and analytics work streams, including the formulation and conducting of high-quality epidemiological analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of current interventions, understand disease patterns, and inform strategic planning related to neglected tropical diseases.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve the performance of NTD intervention processes and platforms, and contribute to the formulation of surveillance guidelines, SOPs, and training materials.
- Support the development and integration of data collection tools and dashboards.
- Support the integration of data use and analysis in routine programmatic activities at all levels of the health system.
- Support the design and routine implementation of monitoring and evaluation of Sightsavers and governmental programmes.
- Organise, clean, and integrate datasets from different sources to aid programme monitoring and evaluation and larger analyses.
- Formulate and deliver national and sub-national level training technical materials.
- Promote the routine use of epidemiological, entomological, and programmatic data and analysis to inform country strategy planning and programme implementation.
- Review and contribute to surveillance and analytics components of annual country work plans to ensure they meet strategic goals.
- Synthesise and disseminate findings through high-quality presentations, reports, and scientific publications.
- Represent Sightsavers at external technical meetings with international and local academic and technical partners.
- Manage relationships with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and work with technical teams to ensure the delivery of timely and high-quality work.
- Support the national programme in reviewing their operational budget and fund requests and contribute to joint monitoring with the finance team at the partner level.

Job Requirements:
Essential:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field or a bachelor’s degree with exceptional experience. If you do not have these qualifications, relevant experience will be considered.
- Demonstrable work experience with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.
- Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills, including effective communication of results through data visualisation to audiences of varying technical backgrounds.
- Knowledge of PC neglected tropical diseases, disease elimination, digital health, and/or other major global infectious disease problems.
- Experience in strategy development, planning, and project implementation.
- Experience in capacity building.
- Experience working and communicating with government officials and multilateral organisations.
- Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently in unstructured settings and to adapt to new environments and challenges.
- Experience in research project management.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in French and professional skill in English.

We are looking for exceptional new colleagues to join our great team at the Money Advice Trust and become debt advisers, to provide free debt advice to people contacting our National Debtline service by telephone. If you are self-motivated, have high resilience, able to problem solve, have outstanding customer-focused communication skills and you want to help people through the cost-of-living crisis and beyond, then the Debt Adviser is the role for you.
National Debtline is an award-winning free debt advice service run by the Money Advice Trust, an independent charity founded in 1991 to help people across the UK to tackle their debts and manage their money with confidence.
As a debt adviser you will provide advice, support, and money management help to people struggling with problem debt. This will include helping callers to form a budget, prioritise their debts and identify possible solutions, in compliance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations. You will be required to fact find, analyse and work out solutions for the client.
This is a role for resilient candidates who are consistent in approach and can demonstrate that they are able to deal with subjects that can be highly emotive and sensitive. Training and assessments are intense and there is a requirement to manage your own development during and outside working hours to stay up to date with new legislation in this arena. You will need initiative to research some of the finer technical points of debt advice. The calls we receive and productivity targets you need to achieve are challenging and you will be dealing with vulnerable clients daily who may be experiencing poor mental health or at risk of suicide.

You must be able to work a shift pattern between our service hours of 9.00am – 8.00pm with a one in five Saturday working rota (9.30 am – 1.00 pm). Shifts and Saturday work are subject to review and change. We also have part time roles available working a minimum of 27.5 hours per week.
We offer full training and extensive support. Working hours during the initial training period will be 9am to 5pm, with the majority being mandatory on-site training days at our newly refurbished offices in Birmingham. After training you will move either to office / hybrid working - your choice.
You must be able to commit to training full time for the first 10 weeks of employment.
