About the role
Working at a strategic level, you will have overall responsibility for identifying and securing the income streams to support the activity of this newly formed organisation (merger of 3 local Citizens Advice offices), working the Chief Executive and other members of the management team. You will actively monitor the advice landscape and stay informed about industry innovations and emerging trends, proactively identifying opportunities to integrate relevant advancements into the organisation.
You will also be responsible for the line management of the Fundraising Officer, Communications Officer and the Research and Campaigns Coordinator.
Role Responsibilities:
- With the CEO, design a sustainable funding model and a diverse project portfolio for CAOX that guards against over reliance on a single funder or work type.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities that generate income and are aligned with the organisational and strategic aims.
- Create a standardised fee structure for core services to ensure consistency and transparency when preparing bids and proposals
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure the work scope aligns with contract value.
- Manage multiple bids and innovation projects, prioritising effectively and demonstrating financial efficiency.
- Supported by the Fundraising Officer, lead on identifying and writing compelling and persuasive funding bids.
- Ensure a strong funding pipeline is maintained by tracking and planning fundraising activities, applications and forecasted income.
Demonstrable experience and achievements:
- A successful track record in business development and identifying new funding opportunities to achieve significant impact, meet user needs and maintain standards.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and lead a passionate and committed team, at all levels of the organisation, to perform to the best of their abilities

As our Lead Bid Writer, you will work on the end-to-end bidding process, from identifying tender opportunities and submitting engaging and successful bids through to managing post-award activity. You will develop compelling, high-quality tender responses, ensuring that our submissions stand out.
You will have knowledge and experience in tender planning, writing winning bids, and diligently working to continuously improve the quality of submissions. If your experience is in social care, that’s great but not essential.

As Bid Writer, you will work with the team to identify funding opportunities, and craft compelling bids and proposals that clearly articulate our vision, services, and value to commissioners and funders. This will include bids and applications to trusts and foundations, tenders for statutory funding, compiling reports to funders, and other organisational reports as needed.
This role is a part-time permanent position for a minimum of 15 hours per week but we are open to additional hours up to four days per week. The salary for this role is £40,560 FTE. You will be based at home but available to travel to our office in Vauxhall, London occasionally as needed.

SMART CJS is seeking a skilled and experienced Trusts and Foundations Bid Writer to play a key role in generating income from charitable trusts, foundations, and statutory funders. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of writing successful funding applications and identifying new opportunities that align with SMART’s strategic goals in tackling homelessness and supporting vulnerable individuals in Bedford and the surrounding area.

Main Purpose of the Role

About the role:
We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to generate income for the Olive Tree Cancer Support Group through the development and implementation of a Trust & Foundations strategy. This will involve the planning and writing of funding bids, reporting on previous and new grants, liaising with funders and researching new funding opportunities to generate a significant level of income to agreed targets.

About you:

IRW’s International Programmes Division is recruiting for the position of ‘Faith Partnership Advisor (FPA)’ on a permanent, full time basis, to join its dynamic team based out of its offices in either Birmingham, London or where IR has an office globally. The purpose of the role:
The Faith Partnership Advisor will play a critical role within International Programmes Division (IPD) supporting the Divisions’ strategic objectives to consolidate its identity as an Islamic faith-based institution, leading our Faith Engagement Strategy, representing our approach to important multi-lateral and other institutions, ensuring the faith sensitivity and faith literacy of its programmes and securing funding for its global operations. The role will sit within the Programme Funding and Partnership Department (PFPD) within the IPD.
Building upon our many programme partnerships with other faith-based and non-faith-based actors, this role will forge new partnerships that build on the inspiring work we have developed in the areas of livelihoods, peacebuilding, forced migration, protection and gender justice. Working with major institutional donors, the Faith Partnership Advisor will form part of a collaborative team and manage the bid process from inception to submission on new programme initiatives. Specifically, the Faith Partnership Adviser will capitalise on the organisation’s faith-based approach to development. The Faith Partnership Advisor is expected to have extensive experience preparing bids which have a faith dimension to them, centred on the added value of Islamic Relief as a faith-based organisation and the industry’s need to have faith centric development and humanitarian approaches.
The successful candidate must have:
- A graduate degree or equivalent experience in development/humanitarian areas
- An in-depth understanding of international development issues
- An exceptional understanding of the principles of Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic teaching, particularly pertaining to aid and development issues
- An awareness of the various funding mechanism that are available within the industry
- Exceptional command of English with the ability to edit, summarise and compile information quickly and often within short time frames
- An ability to speak publicly and communicate confidently within groups
- An ability to lead working groups and plan strategically
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and being versed with PowerPoint and Excel
- Track record of working in a similar role with an International NGO essential

The Avenues is an exceptional West London youth centre that guides disadvantaged children and young people to explore and develop new skills, connect with their peers and our trusted staff, and find their confidence. The Avenues offers free-to-access fun and meaningful after-school, weekend and holiday activities led by trained youth workers. Role overview
You’ll help to prepare for, write and support on developing bids and proposals, helping Change Grow Live secure contracts and run high-quality health and social care services. These services support adults, children and young people, including around drugs and alcohol, homelessness and criminal justice.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Writing and editing bid responses
- Working with colleagues across Change Grow Live
- Completing online research, analysing data and working with partner organisations
- Creating presentations, diagrams and reports
- Helping improve how we do things.
This role is designed to support you through the beginning of your business development and bid writing career. We’ll provide you with support and training to develop and progress.

This role will take a lead on growing and diversifying income from trusts, foundations, corporates, major donors and public sector sources, and will be responsible for championing a culture of partnership, building meaningful relationships and helping to amplify the organisation’s impact and story.
The Philanthropy Lead is central to TBBT’s ambitions to grow their geographical reach and raise their national profile to reach more communities, working to shape and deliver a high-value fundraising strategy, lead multi-sector funding bids, and work hand in hand with delivery teams, partners, and stakeholders. As the subject expert in fundraising, the post-holder will be hands-on in developing proposals and cases for support, managing key accounts, and working as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team to identify and progress opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of building relationships and securing income from high-value sources, including trusts and foundations, corporates, major donors and public bodies. You will have experience of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies with measurable outcomes.
