We are seeking to appoint an experienced Director of Income Generation to join our Senior Leadership Team on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. We are looking for candidates across England, Wales and Northern Ireland and this role will be based in our offices or at home but with some travel within England, Wales and Northern Ireland as required.
As a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a strategic role in the overall leadership and management of Friends of the Earth. This role has the responsibility of ensuring implementation of an ambitious but achievable income generation strategy. You’ll also be responsible for managing multiple income streams, all contributing to a robust and resilient portfolio of income that enables maximum organisational impact.
We are looking for an empathetic, inspiring and approachable leader with a strong track record of successful, sustainable income generation. You will have experience of strategic thinking and planning and the ability to build collective commitment to a vision. You will also have the ability to analyse the external environment and navigate clear paths for Friends of the Earth using mixture of new ideas and best practice, together with a solid understanding of the wider NGO context with regards to income generation and supporter engagement

About the Role
This new role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR within Mind BLMK. The role will join the CEO and Head of Finance and Head of Operations as part of the Executive team. We require a strategic thinker who can align HR practices with our objectives, foster a positive culture, drive talent management and foster employee development.
Mind BLMK has a workforce of around 90 people and a small infrastructure to support us to deliver our valuable services to the community. The Head of HR will be hands on and supported by a HR assistant but will also work closely with other departments to ensure development and implementation of policies and programs that support Mind BLMKs goals.
About You
The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing talent acquisition, employee development, compensation and benefits and employee relations, Minimum 2 years’ experience of strategic and hands on HR leadership and experience of securing engagement from staff, managers and department heads.
Key Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies, processes and services aligned with our overall strategy and vision
- Lead the HR function and team
- Be a pro-active member of the Executive team
- Monitor, update, and advise staff and managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring that they are adhered to and effectively communicated across the organisation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children’s & Youth Worker to join our team at Oasis Church Waterloo, to work with our under-18s and their families. The postholder will have particular responsibility for developing the children’s and youth provision at Oasis Church Waterloo, leading the team delivering children’s and youth work on Sundays and also deepening relationships with our church families during the week. The Church Children and Youth Worker will also be responsible for developing and expanding the integrated children’s and youth provision across the Waterloo Hub, with significant input into developing school families support work and developing the staff and volunteer team.

Role summary
The Director of Admissions and Service Development (DASD) will play a pivotal role in shaping our admissions processes and service offer through utilising deep subject matter expertise of the needs and landscape for CYA with complex needs. Seashell’s national and regional networks will be strengthened and utilised through the DASD leadership of our ‘Complex Needs Mapping’ programme of work. They will promote Seashell’s role as a strategic partner, working in collaboration with commissioners and service providers to ensure CYA are supported by the right services, at the right time to achieve optimum outcomes whilst making best use of public funds.
This senior leadership position is responsible for the oversight and enhancement of our admissions process providing a single ‘front door’ into Seashell. The postholder will lead on Service Development initiatives to ensure they align with our organisational goals and the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
Working with the COO and Senior Leadership Operations Team colleagues, the DASD will define the admissions criteria to enable and support the best outcomes for the CYA and families who we support. Optimising occupancy across all service areas through efficient and effective admission, transfer and discharge processes, leadership and operational direction of the multi-disciplinary admissions function will be a key responsibility.
In addition, you will lead on development of Seashell’s ‘Knowledge Hub’ – our new external training, advisory and resource offer to professionals and practitioners to build their knowledge and skills in supporting young people with complex needs within their current settings and areas.

Working Hours
Working on a rota basis means you will need to be flexible over a 7 day rota. The service operates 24/7, however day shifts are either 08:00 – 15:30 or 14:30 – 22:00. There will be the option to pick up nights on occasion, for which the night enhancement rates will apply.
All successful candidates will be required to take a work-related test prior to the interview.

Unique is seeking an Engagement and Communications Officer to join our dedicated team. This is a hybrid role, based between our office in Oxted, Surrey, and home. At Unique, we provide accurate and accessible medical information and foster a supportive community for those navigating the world of rare chromosome and gene disorders. We believe in the power of shared knowledge and lived experiences to empower and connect people.
As the Engagement and Communications Officer, you will play a vital role in developing and nurturing relationships with our members, including individuals and families affected by rare chromosome disorders, as well as healthcare professionals, educators and social workers. Your key responsibilities will include organizing regional family events, information days, and webinars, managing our online community forums, and overseeing our communications output, including monthly e-newsletters and social media platforms. This role ensures that our members are listened to and supported, raising awareness of what Unique can offer to those who need us, wherever they are in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver Unique’s communications and engagement strategy
- Develop and lead on Unique’s social media strategy
- Organize and deliver both in-person and virtual member meetings
- Promote Unique to multiple audiences, including people/families affected by rare chromosome and gene disorders, healthcare professionals, and others
- Seek ways to increase Unique’s profile

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our small but mighty team. Your role will be to raise funds for the charity through varied community fundraising activities, including our flagship fundraising event Croyde Ocean Triathlon, as well as other smaller fundraising events throughout the year. Responsibilities

Cultivate and recruit new and existing supporters to participate in a range of events including those planned by EAND as well as ‘host your own’ fundraising events.

Support existing fundraisers to keep them engaged, maximise their value and retain them as supporters

Work closely with the CEO and comms team to create engaging fundraising materials and create effective campaigns

Organise fundraising events to maximise income (quizzes, raffles, etc)
