We are looking for a new team member with experience of delivering effective advocacy on behalf of people from marginalised communities to join us to play key role in the delivery of services that will support equal access to primary medical services for people seeking asylum in contingency accommodation in Northeast London. The outreach service will offer initial health and social assessments, urgent care, and will facilitate GP registration and, and support access to wider healthcare and support services within the area through direct referrals and signposting, and coordination with other local services and partners.
As part of DOTWs Services team, you will support the service by proactively promoting DOTW’s service at individual accommodation sites, providing social assessments for residents and their dependents, escalating health issues of any immediate concern, and support responses to urgent health and/or safeguarding concerns. As part of a culture of best practice, you will ensure adherence to DotW policies and will provide support resolving complex cases, deploying your demonstrative experience delivering person-centred, compassionate care and/or advice and support to people seeking asylum or from other excluded communities.
You will lead by example, demonstrating effective advocacy, coordination, and multi-tasking skills, The role requires emotional agility, and resilience, especially when dealing with complex situations such as mental health crises, trafficking, and homelessness, where you will draw on your experience to manage complex situations calmly and compassionately. You will be someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to work productively and constructively within a close knit team by demonstrating an open and responsive attitude and using your excellent communication skills.
You will have strong IT skills and ideally a driving licence to be able to support us to deliver our services in our dedicated mobile clinic vans. You will have the skills to work independently and manage your own and volunteers' health and safety, sometimes working alone.
You will be supported by an experienced team, regular line management, and clinical supervision. Skills in Basic Life Support, First Aid, safeguarding, mental health management, and trauma-informed approaches will be provided.

The role

The role
Our key priorities at FareShare UK are to grow the food volumes accessible to the charities and community groups we support across the UK. Food partners (manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, importers, packers, catering providers, producers and others) are pivotal in helping us to meet these priorities, providing access to food and many other strategic resources. This crucial role will focus on working with our top food partners to maximise the mutual value in the relationship through strategic and structured account management. Our ability to meet growing demand and retain our leading position in the food redistribution landscape will be heavily influenced by the success you have in this role.
You will be the direct account lead for some of the biggest food accounts in the UK and you will lead part of the Food Partnership Team for managing and engaging new business relationships to drive and grow food and funding from top food partners.
As part of this role, you will lead the transition to a tiered and structured strategic account management approach of all top partners. Coordinating colleagues in the food team and other FareShare teams: FareShare Go, Marketing, Fundraising, Network Operations and Volunteering teams to ensure that top partners get an excellent service. You will work with the top food partners and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate identification of activities, and monitoring of progress, benefits and evaluation.
You will help identify and overcome the barriers to food redistribution and increase the volumes of foods available to FareShare from food partners and their wider supply chains.
Working with marketing and relevant teams you will develop sales materials to open opportunities for more food and other resources from top partners.
You will lead new business development for FareShare Go and work closely with the FareShare Go operations team to mutually agreed objectives. You will support the team to develop new opportunities to deliver the FareShare Go service to food partners including meeting tenders and developing compelling propositions for partners.
Main areas of responsibility
Business Development and Relationship Management
- Support the senior Leadership team by implementing and driving FareShare’s strategy to deliver the services that our top food partners want now and in the future.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated individual, who has a flexible attitude to lead on our translation service within the Fund.
The Fund is a truly bilingual organisation. Our principle is to treat the Welsh and English languages equally by offering a bilingual service to our customers and grant holders on a day-to-day basis.
You will work independently alongside numerous teams to ensure an effective and accurate translation service for the whole organisation. You will ensure that all our online and off-line materials, including new web pages, publications and corporate initiatives, are translated in accordance with agreed deadlines.
You will work closely with our Welsh Language Officer to ensure that the Fund fulfils its statutory legal requirements to comply with the Welsh Language Standards under the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011.

The Job

We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our newly established Health Team. This specialist role will enhance our current provision and improve the quality and breadth of mental health support available to young people. The successful candidate will work within the Health Team, in collaboration with our partner organisation Camden & Islington Young People's Service, to deliver 1:1 emotional and practical support, assist in our drop-in service, and facilitate workshops for all young people experiencing homelessness.
You will specialise in helping young people improve their self-confidence while improving their understanding of difficult emotions such as anger. Additionally, you will focus on developing their thinking and practical skills, as well as coping and de-escalation strategies. Your work will aim to improve relationships among young people within the day centre, and continue to promote trauma informed working practices across New Horizon, so that all of our services are designed to address the psychological and emotional needs of young people who are unsafe or facing homelessness.
You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of an important and innovative new role. You will be provided with your own theraputic support delivered by a highly experienced clinical psychologist and regular individual and group clinical supervision. The role
As a Community Coordinator Assistant for FareShare, your primary responsibility will be to manage and sustain the Community Food Membership (CFM) programme. The Position
