About the role

As a Senior Analyst you’ll take a lead in using data to better understand our supporters by applying advanced data analysis techniques. Using data to make better decisions is a key way in which we seek to be good stewards of our finances. The analysis you provide will help to guide strategy at all levels of the organisation. 

You will cover a breadth of projects that will include digital analytics, building decision making tools and providing insight to all areas of the organisation. Crucially you’ll help us to develop best practices around test and learn activities. You’ll also contribute significantly to the creation of best practices within the team and the future direction of our data strategy.

Overall Purpose of the Job: To work as part of the communications team to plan, implement and optimise communications for our members.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver membership communications through our website, email and social media
• Creating and sending out member emails, ensuring that activity is consistent, accurate and timely
•  Creating social media posts across multiple Twitter accounts, as well as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram ensuring they are accurate, consistent and timely
• Ensure the communications calendar is maintained and accurate, and work with the communications team to ensure all messaging is appropriately scheduled to ensure maximum engagement and member experience
• Supporting the team in proofreading communications to ensure messaging and standards are consistent
• Monitor and improve email and social media communications through regular reporting and recommending improvements
• Working with wider BSG team to support communication of key projects and initiatives across all channels
•  Make content additions and updates to the website as required
• Understand and use core functionality on the website to a high standard, and play a role in maintaining and improving processes and their documentation
• Work with Head of Communications and Senior Communications Executive to identify areas for improvement and recommending solutions, including proofreading existing work
•  Work with the digital team to create a website usage report and make recommendations for improvements
•  Support the events manager in organisation of BSG events including webinars and face to face events as required
• Work on the BSG stand at the annual conference and do other tasks as may be required

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years experience in a communications or similar role
• Experience using a website CMS and mailing system/CRM.
• Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with good attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of GDPR and good data practices
• Ideally some experience using design tools such as Canva
• Competency with Microsoft Office suite

Salary: £34,085 per annum (plus £5,023.71 London Weighting if applicable)

The Role

We need someone with professional social media and marketing experience who is passionate about driving the Sophie Lancaster Foundation forward. You’ll manage our social media presence, engage with our followers, and create new opportunities for conversation and audience growth. As a champion of our brand, we’ll look to you to ensure our communications are always spot-on. Your writing should shine across various platforms, whether it's website content, leaflets, or marketing emails. With a keen eye for design, you’ll create impactful social media posts and use both photography and video to boost engagement. Besides working at your desk, you’ll also represent the Foundation at events and festivals, becoming a key member of our small team. Role Overview

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and versatile Data and Impact Officer to join our supportive and talented team. The Director of Finance role presents an exciting opportunity to manage and create a finance team that will support the Anglican Communion, whilst also being a key member of the senior management team. You will lead and direct the Anglican Communion’s financial strategy and management, ensure commercial planning, delivery and evaluation in all areas of ACO activity, whilst also providing financial management and administration for two related charities: the Anglican Alliance and the Anglican Centre in Rome.

The organisation:

The Anglican Communion Office (ACO) serves as a hub for communication, coordination, and collaboration among its 42 member churches. The ACO facilitates the work of the Archbishop of Canterbury and supports global ministries, including mission, advocacy, ecumenical relationships, and social justice efforts. The role:

• Lead on the development and execution of financial strategy, financial planning, budgeting and cost control for the ACO and related charities.
• Key advisor to the Secretary General, management team and trustees on the overall financial landscape for the ACO and its on-going performance and position.
• Manage and continuously improve the efficient running of financial operations including the preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts, payroll, tax returns, and management of creditors and debtors.
• Ensure that an adequate control framework exists.

• Manage budgeting and planning processes, providing all appropriate financial data, and supporting budget-holding staff in all areas.

• Manage the preparation of statutory accounts and be the main contact with external auditors.
• Be vigilant to financial and operational risks and to report and mitigate such risks.

The successful candidate will have:

• Ideally, understanding and knowledge of the UK charity finance environment.
• Experience in budgeting and cost control, including provision of reports and analysis to an audience with different levels of financial literacy.
• Strong financial leadership skills capable of directing financial strategy and delivering highest quality financial management.
• Experience in working with diverse stakeholders both within and outside an organisation
• Experience in managing and motivating teams.
• Experience of upgrading control processes and implementing change.
• A full finance qualification, or the ability to prove they are qualitied by experience.
• The willingness to travel throughout the Anglican Communion.

About the role

Who we are looking for

Our Communications Services team is seeking a talented Communications Officer, Social Media and Digital, with a background in sustainable development, science or health communications. The successful applicant will be educated to degree level with at least a 2:1 or 1st class honours degree.

You will need to be creative with the ability to produce social media campaigns, digital content and videos, and lead the development of engaging websites to tell our clients’ stories. Plus, you’ll need to be highly organised and able to juggle multiple tasks to coordinate and deliver a wide range of engaging communications materials. You should also be open to travel, as the role could require you to visit projects in Africa or Asia.

What you will do

You’ll lead our social media and digital services for international development and research organisations around the world, as well as coordinating and providing advice on a range of other communications projects – covering topics such as climate change, health, poverty reduction, social equity, agriculture, water resources management, and green cities. You’ll need to think strategically and creatively, respond effectively to emerging trends, and help our team develop and grow.

Your role will include:

• Leading social media and digital communications services: you will conceptualise, coordinate and deliver social media campaigns, videos, websites, newsletters and other digital products for our clients – leading innovative content strategies that drive engagement.
• Content creation: you will create social media content and assets, graphics, videos and animations. You will also develop design templates and mock-ups, format presentations and Microsoft Word documents, produce event materials and make website updates.
• Project management: you will be the main point of contact for specific clients and projects, gathering requests for new products and services, and coordinating content development and graphic design work with other team members to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively. This may lead to overseas trips for some clients.
• Managing Scriptoria’s social media and website: you will lead Scriptoria’s external social media marketing and ensure our website and digital landscape remains dynamic and up to date. You will test and advise the team on new tools or programs.
• Business development as part of the team: you will explain our work to potential new clients, showcase our many successful projects, increase the amount of digital work flowing into the company, and so ensure that Scriptoria’s Communications team moves from strength to strength.

As a small and collaborative team, we are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is happy to support a variety of tasks and develop further skills, as needed, in the role.

Our staff have the flexibility to work wholly or partly from home or from our office in Tooting, South-West London, during regular operational hours (08:30–17:30; 40 hours/week). If working from home, staff must have a working environment suitable for holding video-call meetings with clients. Wherever you work, you will interact regularly with other team members to share skills and exchange ideas.

You will have 25 days of annual leave per year, plus UK public holidays.

Key skills and experience required

1. A 2:1 or 1st class honours degree in a subject area relevant to our work. A postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
2. A minimum of five years’ work experience in a communications role.
3. Extensive knowledge and use of social media channels (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.), marketing platforms (e.g. for newsletters) and management tools (e.g. Hootsuite).
4. Experience using a range of tools to create digital communications materials (e.g. Canva and video editing software; Illustrator and Premier Pro would be an advantage) and content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
5. Understanding of the digital landscape, emerging trends, tools and best practices in social media and digital communications (including SEO, UI, UX, Information Architecture).
6. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing social media, digital and campaign strategies, and using reporting and analytics tools – with proven success in driving engagement and followers.
7. Strong creative flair with a strong understanding of best-practice design principles.
8. Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and cope flexibly with a range of jobs to meet (and exceed) client expectations.
9. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.

I am excited to be working with an amazing international huma rights charity in search of a Digital Assistant. This is an immediate start, part-time (30hrs per week), London based hybrid (1 day in office bi-weekly) role for around 3-months. As the Digital Assistant your role will be to support the maintenance, development, reporting and monitoring of the organisation’s website.

Main duties:

Create visually appealing pages using the WordPress Gutenberg page builder in collaboration with colleagues, providing guidance on layout and content presentation.

Implement content updates on the WordPress CMS, ensuring the site is dynamic and up to date, including refreshing hero banners based on agreed priorities.

Study site analytics and make recommendations for UX improvements to address user pain points.

Ensure accessibility compliance, regularly monitoring the site for accessibility, making fixes, and suggesting improvements.

Troubleshoot bugs or errors under the guidance of the HDE and escalate to the web development agency when necessary.

Conduct quality assurance using tools like Google Search Console, performance checks, and broken link checker software.

Advise colleagues on on-page SEO, using Yoast to improve page rankings.

Provide support to web editors by troubleshooting upload issues and assisting with the creation and approval of web resources to ensure adherence to style guidelines and upload procedures.

Onboard new web editors, giving training sessions and updating the web editor’s guide and style guide when necessary.

Source and edit photography for news stories and web pages, maintaining an organized image folder structure with properly labelled and captioned images.

Assist with monthly website reports, using tools such as Matomo.

Review and action web contact requests, providing timely support with requests based on HDE guidance.

Position Summary/ Objective

A new role within our European region, the Paid Social Media Specialist will be working closely with our Senior Digital Marketing Lead (UK) to deliver world-class paid media campaigns on multiple digital platforms in multiple countries.

This role will work across IFAW’s four fundraising markets in Europe: France, Germany, Netherlands and the UK to grow our paid media revenue. The role will focus on Social and Search advertising but also to experiment with new emerging platforms.

Directly reporting to the Senior Digital Marking Lead in the UK, this role will coordinate and plan new paid social campaigns and content, working closely with the Digital Leads, and the Senior Fundraising and Marketing Manager, to roll these out across our markets.  You will work across a variety of channels such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Reddit, Bing, Google, YouTube, Pinterest, Spotify and more.

Role and Responsibilities

Working with the Digital Marketing Lead in each country (France, Germany, Netherlands and UK), the role will:

- Coordinate, develop, execute, and optimize paid digital campaigns from conception to launch and completion across EU fundraising markets.

- Building out media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of paid media to support each market.

- Work closely with Digital Marketing Leads to agree on campaigns, budget allocation and spend, ad grouping and audience targeting.

- Support and contribute to the creative process of building advertising campaigns. Including video creation specifically for advertising.

- Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, and suggest landing pages optimization.

- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.

- Working cross-departmentally, specifically with the Content team.

- Identify and suggest new emerging platforms and avenues for digital outreach.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- 5+ years’ experience with digital paid media, specifically with Meta and Google advertising.

- Excellent understanding of creating and implementing paid media campaigns with prior campaign examples (across multiple countries/markets a plus). 

- Ideally completed advertising certifications (for example, Meta Certified Media Buying Professional, Google Analytics 4).

- Extensive experience in creating digital ad assets and copy, including video.  

- Video creation skills specifically for advertising, experience working with Adobe Creative Suite tools.

- Fluency in working with analytics platforms, for example Looker Studio.

- Goal driven, extremely analytical, with the ability to make data-based decisions and conclusions.

- Excellent communication skills to present the results of campaign performance verbally, as well as provide clear and concise reports.

- Fluent English (spoken French, German or Dutch is a plus).

- Interest in IFAW’s programmatic work and global wildlife conservation issues.

- Self-starter with ability to jump into a hectic situation to provide support.
