Lincolnshire Crisis Service have two houses in the county, one in Boston and another in Lincoln, we provide a range of support for people with mental ill health and both work to a recovery model. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards. This role does require you to work varied hours as the service is 24/7 and may include some sleep in shifts, these are paid in addition.

This is a great opportunity to be involved from the very beginning in the delivery of a new programme - Barrow Buddies!
The service will provide opportunities to gain confidence and improve orientation and mobility for people who are vision impaired and living in Barrow-in-Furness. In addition there will be a weekly walking group. All of ths will help adults with vision impairments to feel more confident making short and purposeful journeys independently and improve health and fitness through the walking group. Volunteers will provide much of the one-to-one support to service users with the guidance of this post-holder.
This post-holder will be supported by an expert team of Volunteer Officer, Engagement Officer and a Service Manager with a proven track record in outdoor activities.
We are looking for a high energy, highly organised, person-centred individual with an optimistic attidue and an ability to flex to changing needs. A walk leader qualification or previous experience in the vision impairment sector would be beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided.

The Opportunity
The Aspiring Professionals Programme Coordinator (APPC) role will be well-suited to someone who is focused on the best ways they can help the aims of the charity as well as those of our participants and partners. An APPC is responsible for supporting the delivery and development of the Social Mobility Foundation’s programme of activities for young people through their S5-6/sixth form and university years.

1. Achieving Results
- Organising, supporting and delivering skills sessions, partner events, university trips, both in person and virtually across SMF cities and other parts of the UK.
- Coordinating logistics for virtual and in-person events, including content creation, securing venues and speakers, producing webinars and video calls, advertising events, collating attendee lists and compiling feedback/evaluation

About the role
The Finance Officer at the Refugee Council plays an important role in efficiently managing resources and financial processes, ensuring funds are directed to support refugees effectively. Job Purpose
IRRI has given a high priority to growing our work and impact in Africa. The Regional Director will be responsible for providing strategic and practical insights and follow-through to position and grow IRRI in Africa. The Director will ensure a strong reputation for IRRI in relation to our capability to bring big solutions to issues critical for Africa like rural poverty, resilience and sustainability, nutrition/health and national economic advancements.
The Director will lead the development and implementation of an overall Africa strategy as well as country strategies for IRRI's research needs, outreach, capacity strengthening, partnerships and resource mobilization. This will include identification and development of project opportunities, focusing on key contributions IRRI can make to develop the agriculture and food system in target countries in the region.
The Director will represent IRRI's interests before governments in Africa and liaise closely with relevant government offices and agencies. Act as one of the chief spokespersons for IRRI in Africa and interact with a wide range of national and international partners and donors to seek new opportunities for research and partnerships, including fundraising, private and public-private sector partnerships.
The Director will also advise IRRI management and scientists on regional and national developments, emerging issues for research, new opportunities for funding, and appropriate policies and procedures for working and traveling in the region. Manage IRRI's relations with CGIAR centers, other international organizations and development agencies operating in the region.
This position will be based at the IRRI Regional Office in Nairobi, Kenya and is open for international applications.

The main purpose of the Finance Officer role is to provide key support to the finance team with their finance processes, supporting staff members across the organisation, helping with any queries on a day to-day basis, as well as supporting members and suppliers with queries.
The Finance Officer ensures all financial transactions are processed in accordance with the charity’s procedures and processes and in line with data protection regulations.
The team provides support and guidance to all staff members on how to process invoices, expenses, and generally manage their budgets effectively.
You will maintain the purchase and sales ledger and administer the payroll and pension scheme. You will oversee general finance administration and expenses. You will also chase debtors for payments (credit control), post and reconcile income and act as the first point of contact for finance queries. You will assist the finance manager with the end of year audit. Ideally, you will have a good working knowledge of Xero.

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for three Support Workers (Community Connectors – Assessment and Engagement Team) to join our team. We have three positions available in Aylesbury.
Your challenge? To provide advice, support, advocacy and key work for recovery plans and undertake elements of assessment and case management as directed. And, all the while, we’ll expect you to operate in a way that recognises and values diversity and understands the functional model of substance use, the Recovery Agenda and the problems caused by alcohol and drug misuse.
Preferably with a NVQ 2/3 in Social Care, or willing to attain this, you are used to working to policy and procedural requirements that include child protection, vulnerable adults, confidentiality and health & safety. We’ll also be looking for good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and fulfil data requirements. A flexible approach is important too, as is a commitment to taking a client centred approach to providing services and working in a way that recognises and values diversity.
This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.

OVERVIEW
Rising Sun Domestic Violence and Abuse Service (Rising Sun) is an independent charity in Kent working to prevent domestic abuse and improve the lives of survivors and their children suffering from its effects. We have an ambitious vision for a world in which women and children live free from actual or threatened domestic abuse and all forms of violence.
Our team provide a range of services to adults and children who’ve experienced domestic abuse. We understand the impact of domestic abuse on survivors and so we listen to individual needs and respond in a trauma informed way. We provide one-to-one support and also deliver therapeutically informed group programmes to help survivors to recognise healthy/unhealthy behaviours in relationships and to understand the impact of domestic abuse. Bringing survivors together validates experiences and enables them to draw strength from one another.

JOB PURPOSE
Liberty House provides housing and support for up to 5 homeless young women aged 16-24 who are single, pregnant or have a young child and have experienced domestic abuse.
The support worker will be required to take on key-working responsibilities for the residents at Liberty House, as well as delivering other support work within the house and within the wider Liberty team. This could be related to pregnancy and parenting, life skills, psychoeducational support, understanding healthy relationships and building supportive peer relationships within the home, and supporting them to live independently.
The post holder will work to provide a secure, stable and homely environment and to act as a positive role model to residents. They will build professional and supportive relationships with residents and colleagues.
The project works to empower residents, providing them with information relating to their rights and enabling them to make decisions based on their options using a trauma informed approach.
As a member of the Liberty Team (16 – 24 year olds), the successful applicant will work collaboratively with the rest of the Children and Young People’s team, as well as the wider Rising Sun team to support other programmes delivered within the organisation.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Service Delivery
- Provide holistic, trauma informed, practical and emotional support to residents of Liberty House through regular 1-2-1 sessions. Develop individual support plans, which address any practical and emotional needs the resident may have, such as accessing benefits, life skills and perform risk assessments where needed.
- Organise and deliver group sessions that focus on life skills and strengthening relationships.
- Encourage the residents in positive parenting.
- Manage relationships within the house, act as a conciliator, arbitrator and reconciler in disputes between residents.
- Ensure residents adhere to house rules.
- Assist with the day to day general running of the house and office, to ensure they are fit for purpose and safe for team members and residents.
- Conduct safety checks around the house. Ensure all faults/repairs are reported and that the Health and Safety Policy is adhered to at all times.
- Comply with organisational policies and procedures and adhere to confidentiality.
- Work effectively in partnership with other agencies.
