An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Primary Care team which supports committee effectiveness and ensures representation within Local Medical Committees within London. You will report to the Director of Primary Care, working across local committees within the Primary Care team.
The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to Local Medical Committees, enabling the smooth running of Committee meetings. It would be helpful if candidates have a contextual understanding of the health environment or other public-sector environments that we work in, along with excellent administration and note-taking skills. We would like to hear from candidates who have experience of:
- Owning the administrative tasks required to ensure Committee meetings have professional and timely agendas, papers and minutes/action records.
- Attending Committee meetings to support the facilitation of the meetings and ensuring accurate record keeping of meeting content.
- Working flexibly to provide cover across teams and for other Committee Administrators across Londonwide as required.
The salary for the role will be £30,000 pa plus membership of the group personal pension scheme with a 16% employer pension contribution (£4,800, making total remuneration £34,800). Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. We are recruiting employment support workers for a new primary care Individual Placement and Support (IPS) employment service in the London Borough of Enfield.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental and physical health issues. Full time: 35 hours per week - these roles will be based onsite in the community 4 days per week and work from home 1 day.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental or physical health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment. The capital campaign is a global effort to raise €100 million by 2028, funding the construction of a new ship and the environmental campaigns it will support. For 2025, the UK’s target is to secure £4 million, split equally between the ship’s construction and supporting key environmental campaigns.
As a strategic leader, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across Greenpeace UK and internationally, playing a key role in driving organisational fundraising performance, cultural initiatives, and Greenpeace’s overall strategic direction.
As Deputy Fundraising Director, Key Relationships, you will:
- Collaborate with senior leadership across Greenpeace UK and International to align on key strategies and deliver shared outcomes.

ESSENTIAL:

About the role
Your role will be central to achieving our three-year strategy, which is focused on:

Based in our Advocacy and Campaigns team the Senior Policy Officer will be responsible for delivering our Social Mobility Employer Index and support the development of our wider policy positions and campaigns work.
Growing the influence and impact of the Index is a key strategic priority within ambition two, and this role will help achieve that by ensuring we continue to develop our knowledge and to influence and improve employer-led social mobility. You’ll be responsible for project managing and delivering core components of the Index including the marking, design and delivery of the survey, which we use to gather employer data and the feedback reports, which we share with entrants. You’ll ensure the documents evolve with best practice and in line with our work with young people. Working with others you’ll deliver the annual key findings report, ultimately helping improve employer led social mobility in the UK.
Alongside the Index you’ll play a key role in developing policy positions for our political influencing campaigns. You’ll support our internal knowledge hub, drawing insights from our Aspiring Professionals Programme, wider research and focus groups with our young people and share external developments to ensure we have robust, youth-led positions. You’ll analyse evidence and help carve out our unique point of view on how we can improve social mobility in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the project management and delivery of the Index including development of policy positions and best practice, questionnaire design, employer feedback reports.
- Lead the annual review of the Index assessing the impact it’s had on driving employer behaviour and update our measurement and evaluation metrics accordingly.
- Ensure documents are reviewed annually and updated to reflect the latest best practice and insights from our wider interventions.
- Co-ordinate the different individuals and teams working across the Index to deliver the annual key findings report.
- Utilising our political monitoring service and our relations with employers, stay across updates from key stakeholders such as the Social Mobility Commission, the wider sector and employer research, utilising these insights to update our policy positions and develop our advice to employers.
- Undertake rapid scans of various types of data and evidence; produce summaries of the main findings and implications for policy and generate ideas for further policy opportunities.
- Present findings internally and support fundraising colleagues with the insights, tools, and knowledge to develop new products that can influence employer behaviour.
- Create resources for the wider organisation to ensure our evidence base and policy positions are understood, up to date and consistently used across teams.
- Attend relevant conferences, stakeholder meetings and gather intelligence, raising our profile and influencing where appropriate.
- Support the Campaigns Officer (media) and Campaigns Officer (public affairs) with the insights required for political and media interventions. E.g. briefing MPs and creating briefing materials for media interviews.

Essential skills and experience
- Experience of developing policy positions for an organisation.

Citizens Advice, in partnership with Trussell, provides a freephone helpline for people who need help to obtain a food parcel from their local food bank. As part of the process, it provides information and advice on the issues that are causing financial hardship in order to move the client forward. The helpline is managed by generalist advisers from local Citizens Advice across England and Wales.
Citizens Advice Hammersmith & Fulham have been involved with the project from the start and the project received Collaboration of the Year Award (Citizens Advice National Awards 2020).
We now have the opportunity to expand our team of helpline advisers. Role:
- Establish that the client cannot afford food by carrying out a full exploration of the cause of financial hardship and give information and advice on the issue identified
- Issue foodbank voucher where appropriate and/or signpost to local services
- Write up case notes to Citizens Advice national standards
The Helpline Advisers are provided with close support from our supervisors, have access to our wealth of resources and are an integral part of the Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham team.
We have the equivalent of 7 working days available and are open to applications from candidates seeking a minimum of 2.5 days - 5 days per week. This role is well suited to hybrid working with opportunities for remote working. Advisers will also have the opportunity to be office based should they prefer. Magistrates are the unsung heroes of the criminal justice system, and it's fair to say that justice would grind to a halt without them. We're the Magistrates' Association – the membership body for England and Wales's magistrates – and we’re here to give magistrates a voice and to support them to be the very best magistrates they can be. We work with members and collaborate with the judiciary and across the wider legal industry to develop policy and to advocate for change on behalf of our members.
Magistrate, our quarterly magazine, is our most popular member benefit. Over the past two years we have developed and refined it, and it is consistently rated very highly by members as a key source of advice, information and inspiration.
The role
We are looking for a new Editor and Content Manager to lead the production of the magazine, help specify and develop a new digital version to run alongside the printed magazine, and to support the wider communications team, especially with content creation and the website.
What you will be doing
You will work closely with members, staff and suppliers to commission, edit and polish articles for the magazine and ensure that every page is top-quality and that it goes out to members on time and on-budget. On any one day in this exciting and varied role, you could be interviewing members for stories and spotlights, writing engaging articles for the magazine or our website, creating new website pages or editing existing ones, or sourcing on-brand images and photos.
The print magazine is very popular, and we now want to develop a winning digital version alongside the printed version, so one of your responsibilities will be to work with colleagues to oversee its digitisation.
You will also be part of our small but dedicated communications team, which is responsible for delivering not only the magazine, but also the MA’s successful media relations, social media posts and engagement, and the majority of our website content.
It’s an exciting role and, because we have a small staff team, you’ll have ample opportunities to work with colleagues and develop your skills.
Role details
Position: Editor and Content Manager
Responsible to: Head of Marketing and Communications
Location: We’re currently working 100% remotely. We are looking for an office site in the south bank/ Vauxhall area of London, so ideally you would be able to work in that area at least one day per week.
Hours: 21 hours per week (part-time). You could work these hours in three full days or spread over four or five days.
Salary: £35,000 per year (pro-rata)
Annual leave: 25 days annual leave (not including bank holidays) – again pro rata’d.

Job Purpose:
The Head of Brand and Content plays a lead role in managing the brand, overseeing the production of content, coordinating content across all channels and ensuring that it follows MSF’s objectives in terms of operations, fundraising, advocacy and recruitment.
In close collaboration with the Director of Communications, you would lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s brand and content strategy.
You would manage and support a team of content producers in line with our best practice management standards; appraising, coaching, mentoring and supporting your team and ensuring they are fulfilling their objectives to the best of their ability. You will also ensure that your team supports content producers in other teams by ensuring products adhere to brand guidelines and by providing copywriting and editorial support, audio-visual materials and graphic design services.
You will operate collaboratively across multiple departments and teams within MSF UK, including Fundraising, HAARP (advocacy) and the Manson Unit to ensure quality and strategic alignment of cross-departmental communications initiatives. You will also serve as a focal point for discussions on content management across the international MSF movement, of which MSF UK is a member.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of devising and delivering communications strategies to advance the aims of an organization
- Extensive knowledge of the principles of brand management and brand practice
- Demonstratable knowledge and senior experience of digital and print production processes, content gathering, content management systems, copywriting/editorial, audiovisual and graphic design, or a mixture of these
- Outstanding organisational and strategic skills with the ability to handle large volumes of work, track multiple projects or activities at any one time
- Significant leadership and line management experience with proven ability to communicate and engage with diverse stakeholders, as well as the ability to “manage upwards”
- Superior interpersonal and networking skills and ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Experience of working in a dynamic, complex organisation
- Experience managing communications-specific risks and demonstrable awareness of best practice within humanitarian contexts, particularly in areas of safeguarding and EDI

Responsibilities
- Support the team as they go through a new system implementation and automation.

New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. This will include a team of Housing Caseworkers who will carry out assessments and advocacy work with young people under 25 who are fleeing violence and exploitation, in order to move them on successfully into both emergency and long-term housing options. You should be passionate about working with this client group, able to manage a fast-moving caseload, and committed to working collaboratively with a team across multiple services.
