Based in Manchester, we are looking for two Navigators to help work between partner organisations and adults to provide positive collaborate outcomes. About the role

You will provide Early Help Support for Adults facing multiple disadvantages via the ‘Bringing Service Together for People in Places’ (BST PiP) programme for Manchester and the national Changing Futures programme.  Your role will be to work directly with adults liaising with linked agencies and services in the community to improve outcomes. Your will need a collaborative, trauma-responsive and person-centred approach to achieve this.  You will identify blocks and barriers within existing systems and find solutions to make wider and transformational change locally. We put the involvement of people with lived experience of multiple disadvantages at the heart of delivering this service and in co-production of future delivery.

About you

You will need experience of delivering frontline services, supporting adults from diverse backgrounds with multiple and complex needs and/or multiple disadvantages. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of Manchester based services and community assets, be able to represent Shelter externally and have an appreciation of the barriers and personal difficulties faced by people accessing local services. Proactive, creative, and collaborative in your approach, you will have great relationship building skills, a flair for leading change and the confidence to challenge the status quo.  You will also have demonstrable experience of working with volunteers and co-production to make decisions.

About the team

The team will be made up of six Navigators based across the City of Manchester, as well as a Peer Coordinator and Peer Mentors. You will hold your own caseload, supported by the Team Leader.  You will work alongside Navigators who are based within partner organisations at the Big Life Group and Back on Track, as well as a team of peer volunteers. The team is responsible for contributing to Shelter’s wider community priorities and work with internal colleagues to deliver our strategy.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our talented team as a Dementia Adviser. In this integral role you will provide dementia knowledge and expertise within the community across the Cheshire East area.

Contract: Fixed term until March 2026

You will need be able to travel across the Cheshire East area independently.

You Will

- provide a person-centred and outcomes focused information, advice and support service to people affected by dementia and their carers.
- You will identify their needs and the services they may wish to access, give advice about how to live well with dementia and support the improvement of their sense of wellbeing.
- You will need to work with a variety of other professionals, such as GP’s, memory clinic staff and other health and social care services.
- Support may be provided in person, over the telephone, via virtual options or in writing.
- You will aim to reach people affected by dementia from all communities and work to make your service as inclusive as possible.
- You will be working from home, but you will be spending time in the community completing home visits, attending clinics and giving dementia awareness talks to groups, therefore you must be comfortable with public speaking.

About You

- Be An empathetic listener, able to assess and evaluate client need in a non- judgemental manner.
- Able to work under pressure and manage own caseload.
- Self-motivated and can work independently from home using your own initiative, but equally you are a team player keen to support your colleagues.
- You have some knowledge or personal experience of dementia and the challenges people affected by it may face.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding Adults, Data Protection.
- Able and confident to travel within the service area and visit people in their homes.
- Able and confident to organise and oversee group information sessions across the area 
- Experience of record keeping and client data bases and the importance of adhering to procedures and policies.
- Good IT skills.
- Able and confident to represent the needs of people affected by dementia at community events and meetings.

About the role:

The Children & Young People Worker will be based in our Brent service and hold responsibility for delivering one to one and group work services for children of the age of 5 – 18 years, where there is domestic abuse perpetrated from one parent to another or in the household. The post holder will provide support and advocacy for young people and identify and improve referral pathways for those experiencing domestic violence and abuse to access ongoing support.

The post holder will have an excellent understanding of domestic abuse as its effects on women and children, and of best practice within the domestic abuse and young people’s sectors. As an experienced children and young people’s advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis, and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with children survivors of domestic abuse and working with young people and children in face-to-face and group-work is essential for this post as is working within safeguarding principles and promoting a strong partnership approach to service provision.

A car may be desirable for this role, though not essential

You will have great knowledge and understanding of the needs of children and young people who are or have experienced domestic abuse, or have a parent experiencing domestic abuse, and the practical and emotional support needs specific to this group including, education, confidence and relationship building.

range of stakeholders.

You will possess excellent organisational skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work in a prison environment whilst remaining calm.

Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the UK’s biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. For 11 years, it has been transforming the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition through volunteer led Dementia Friends Sessions and tailored resources for organisations. The programme supports individuals and organisations to understand more about dementia and inspires them to take meaningful action to bring help and hope to everyone affected by dementia.

This varied role is all about engaging volunteers, organisations and other internal and external stakeholders with this flagship programme. The role will work across a specified region to recruit, engage, train and support Dementia Friends Ambassadors (DFAs) volunteers. It will support development of new learning resources for programme routes and work with teams across Alzheimer’s Society to support them to use to all programme routes to build relationships and deliver impact.

Most importantly, this role will give you the opportunity to really make a difference for people affected by dementia by raising the awareness of small steps that everyone can take to make the world a better place for them. You will be inspiring behaviour change at all levels!

About you

We are looking for an empathetic and organised volunteer manager who loves to engage and inspire people. You will have experience of managing volunteers, developing resources and delivering training to a wide range of stakeholders both virtually and in person. You will be a confident influencer who is happy to work on multiple things at once.
The Dementia Friends Engagement Officer will work closely with teams across the Society to ensure that the Dementia Friends Programme is integrated into all of the work that Alzheimer’s Society does and is seen as a force for change.  You’ll be a great relationship builder, whose passion is delivering excellent stewardship and who’s skilled at supporting and influencing multiple stakeholders. You’ll have excellent project management and IT skills including using all Microsoft packages and experience of using databases to record and report on data.

You will be part of a geographically dispersed team of Dementia Friends Engagement Officers, which sits in the wider Dementia Friends team and supports colleagues across the organisation. You’ll be expected to work autonomously to deliver within your region, but you’ll also have the opportunity to work collaboratively within the team and across the organisation on key projects.

The role will be primarily home based but you will need to be able to travel across your region. There may be some occasions where you need to travel outside of your region.  As the role is home based, this role requires access to your own reliable internet connection and a minimum 10Mb/s broadband. About the role:

We are looking for an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA). This is a full time role on fixed term contract. Hybrid working would be available for this role. The aim of this role is to support victims of domestic abuse who live in Central Bedfordshire. This role will be part of our other wider specialist services covering Bedfordshire.

As an IDVA you will be:

• Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service trough individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
• Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training
• Supporting the Daily Domestic Abuse meeting in the IFD (Integrated Front Door), which discusses all medium/standard risk referrals that have come in over the previous 24 hours and agrees on the most appropriate source of advice and support for the family.
• Attending the BRiF meetings weekly where community partners bring concerns about family's they are working with including concerns about standard/medium domestic abuse.
• Professional point of contact for the IFD and Adult Safeguarding teams (also based at Priory House).
• Point of contact for any concerns staff have about their own relationships and dynamics of domestic abuse they need support with

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

The Finance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of financial and management accounting, treasury management, and process and systems optimisation. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee treasury and cash flow management, including forecasting, reserve optimisation, and banking relationships.

• Drive process improvement and efficiency, while acting as a trusted advisor across the organisation and contributing to strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Essential experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical accounting expertise.

• Proven experience in financial management, audit, and compliance.

• Proficiency in optimising AP/AR and ledger workflows.

• Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with experience working collaboratively with non-finance stakeholders.

The Role

Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in leading the finance function. The Head of Finance reports to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) and is responsible for the ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the finance function, including maintaining and ensuring accuracy of organisation's financial records, supporting all financial strategies and financial operations. The candidate profile.

The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, social justice, feminist, gender, human rights organisation, and/or grant-making organisation. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT) experience in the charity or non-profit sector. They will value transparency and accountability, demonstrating strong critical thinking and, strategic risk management. They will have a deep understanding of UK GAAP accounting principles and a strong background in financial management, including budgeting, financial controls, grant processing, and audit preparation. Proficiency in financial systems, particularly QuickBooks Advanced or similar accounting software, as well as advanced Excel skills, is essential. The candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritising workloads in a fast-paced and evolving environment. With a proven ability to oversee financial processes, implement automation strategies, and manage treasury functions, they will also be confident in providing financial insights and risk assessments to senior leadership. Experience working in an international organisation and knowledge of exchange rate risk management would be advantageous. Women and Girls Network (WGN) seeks a highly motivated and experienced ISVA Manager to manage our West London Rape Crisis Service ISVA service and team alongside the ISVA (Black Women Service Lead) Manager. • Ensure licenses match business needs and are used efficiently.

• Manage the CRM budget and supplier contracts.

• Maintain strong supplier relationships and enforce service agreements.

• Lead system upgrades and feature rollouts that enhance how we engage with partners and measure our impact.

• Collaborate with the IT Manager to deliver integrations.

• Stay current with Dynamics updates and apply improvements.

• Maintain data quality across systems.

• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and internal policies.

• Advise leadership on data-related risks.

• Monitor system health and implement necessary updates.

• Maintain strong digital security and service continuity.

• Help teams with data extraction and reporting as needed.

Experience, Skills & Experience we're after

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365; certifications a bonus.

• Experience supporting portals (Umbraco familiarity is desirable).

• Skilled in configuring Dynamics 365 and using Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate).

• Experience delivering Agile projects.

• Proven success as a product owner or functional consultant.

• Understanding of GDPR and data protection compliance.

• Strong grasp of Infosec and Microsoft 365 architecture.

• Experience handling first and second-line operational issues.

• Confident working with stakeholders at all levels.

• Solid customer service and relationship-building track record.

• Experience with strategy development or project management is a plus.
