We are seeking a resilient, organised and self-motivated Finance Officer that has an exceptional eye for detail to join us and contribute to the effective management of our financial operations at UWC International.
This role is ideal for an individual with a passion for finance, who has started their studies and career in this field with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. The Finance Department is a small team, working closely with the Senior Financial Accountant, providing essential support to this key area, in which you will be able to be involved in a broad range of financial responsibilities that will allow you to learn and grow your skills.

The UWC International Office serves as the operational arm of UWC International, a UK-registered and
Germany-registered charity, and stands as a pivotal entity within the UWC movement. Positioned in central

The position is a dual role. You’ll join as one of two dedicated Youth Workers and will lead on a portion of Free to Be Kids’ year-round follow-on support for vulnerable young people who we have already engaged via our Thrive Outside residentials. Crucially, a core aspect of the role will be leading an average of 8-10 of our residential projects across each year - working on the ground with the children, leading the volunteers, and helping make the projects special, safe, and transformative for vulnerable young people, many of whom have complex needs. Attendance at approximately 8-10 five-six night residential projects per year outside London is a core component of this role.
On offer to the right candidate:
Salary: Circa £29,000-£34,000, dependent on experience.
Hours: Fulltime: 37.5 hours per week. Essential attendance on at c.8-10 residential projects a year.
Leave: 25 days per year, plus bank holidays and up to 13 additional pre-set discretionary reward days in September and during the Christmas period.

Our next Youth Work hero. You'll be fun, active, energised, deeply experienced in work with young people with complex needs, and looking to join an organisation you can believe in and who in return will believe and invest in you.
You’ll have multiple years’ experience working alongside young people who might struggle in other settings and will be used to dealing with a range of challenging behaviours and complex support needs, ideally including mental health support needs,with a good understanding of safeguarding. You’ll have the flexibility to work away from home on up to 10 week-long residential projects per year. Ideally, you’ll also have experience of leading projects for children – whether residential or non-residential. Experience of working on or leading residentials projects themselves is not required but may be an advantage.

We are looking for a creative communications manager to cover a short-term, just over four months maternity contract, with an immediate start date in January 2025. As a UWC International Communications Manager, you will work with our fundraising, education and programmes teams to create, develop and deliver content across all UWC International’s platforms in line with our new 2030 strategy. This role will lead our Evaluation Practice. ImpactEd Evaluation works with schools and organisations, analysing the impact of programmes and interventions to help them do more of what works and less of what doesn’t. The Opportunity
The Associate Director role will lead a portfolio of research projects across ImpactEd Evaluation and support our team to deliver effective partnerships. Our partners encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. We aim to deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions to benefit young people.
You will act as an experienced consultant on a range of different partnerships to help partners develop their evaluation strategy and approach. For example, you could deliver independent evaluations for organisations like the Careers and Enterprise Company, Nesta or multi-academy Trusts such as Lift Schools. You will also have team development and line management responsibilities, play a role in supporting business development and sales and have opportunities to contribute to development of team strategy.
As an Associate Director level, this role will manage high-profile projects directly and oversee a number of projects delivered by other members of the team, working collaboratively. As well as direct partner management, you would support quality assurance and contribute to internal learning and development.

We are seeking an experienced senior leader, an optimist with strategic vision and a high
degree of intellect who can collaborate with other leaders to design and deliver solutions to
our most pressing problems in health and wellbeing. The postholder will navigate highly
complex systems and networks and need to be very politically astute, diplomatic and excel
at building relationships with trust and integrity.
The Executive Director for Strategy and Partnerships is the second most senior role in
NASP, with a remit for leadership across the organisation and responsibility to deputise for
the CEO. The core purpose of the role is to form strong relationships and partnerships with
leaders from diverse sectors and co-produce strategies and programme plans for joint work.
Existing formal partnerships include agreements with national ‘arm’s length’ bodies such as
Sport England and Natural England, and charities such as Independent Age. It includes line
management responsibilities for staff seconded by partners or employed directly by NASP,
to deliver partnership plans and priorities. The role includes the strategic leadership of multi
million-pound programmes reporting to government departments (for example working
closely with DEFRA to lead the Treasury-funded ‘Tackling and preventing mental ill health
through green social prescribing’ programme). Therefore, a focus on delivery and achieving
outputs and outcomes is just as important as strategic vision.
NASP also works internationally and there will be opportunities to travel regularly, for
example supporting our network of global contacts with events (most recently the Canadian
International Social Prescribing Conference).
The ideal candidate will be highly articulate, a persuasive public speaker, with a proven track
record of delivering complex high impact partnerships which make a measurable impact.
You will need to be comfortable advocating for social prescribing at the highest level; to
government ministers and officials, CEOs of large organisations and global partners such as
Movember, Amazon and the World Health Organization.

Your Main Responsibilities:
- To play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team, specialising in community development and engagement with young people.
- Support the Chief Community Officer in developing and delivering the organisational strategic plan around youth engagement, including taking lead responsibility for agreed-upon strategies and deliverables to provide long-term positive relationships through positive activities.
- Work in partnership and proactively engage with key partners from across the city in the Youth and Play sector, physical activity, and sports participation.
- Manage commissioned contracts, grants, and other agreed projects, including work with partners and subcontractors.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting using case studies, data insights, and sector/local data comparisons to inform and measure impact.
- Lead on and support the preparation of reports and documents as commissioners, funders, and trustees require.
- Identify and lead funding bids, contracts, and partnerships to generate funding for projects to ensure the sustainability of programmes.
- Line Manage the Social Inclusion, Youth work, and Participation managers.
- Develop the skills, experience, and capabilities within the teams relating to local and current issues.
- Support the overall running of the organisation through robust budget setting and planning, safeguarding, health and safety, KPIs, operational updates, risk management, project development, and bid writing.
You will have:
- Proven track record of developing strategies to develop community delivery in youth engagement, including youth work and participation.
- Evidence of understanding the challenges young people face, specifically in Bristol, and the priorities set out by local authorities, police, youth and play services, schools, and other organisations.
- Proven links and strong relationships with contacts locally and nationally, including schools, local authorities, police, youth services, disability organizations, and NGBs.
- Ability to inspire, lead, and develop a team toward achieving project and department-wide goals.
- Ability to identify good practices and have a capability in monitoring and benchmarking performance using industry terminology and metrics.
- A creative mindset and experience around community development where unique and engaging community programmes are implemented is evident.
- Capable of analysing and assimilating information through qualitative and quantitative data/information to produce reports for stakeholders, trustees, and funders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with the community, staff, and stakeholders/partners.
- Ability to be flexible in navigating the evolving landscape of community-based delivery to young people, services locally and nationally, and address emerging needs.

About the role
This is a newly created position at Woman’s Trust, reflecting the critical need for impactful insights and evaluation of our services. The Data Insights Manager will lead, motivate, and develop an efficient and dynamic insights team and will strategically work with the Service Delivery team to turn the data collected by Woman’s Trust into actionable insights, so that we can better support the women accessing our services.
This role will be responsible for the smooth running and development of reporting and analysis tools across Woman’s Trust, so that staff can use our internal service data to inform their ongoing work and decision making.

Handling over 17,000 conversations each year, their services continue to be in high demand, with their network of volunteers offering a vital service to people across the country in times of need, but also providing incredible insights into the issues that impact the LGBTQIA+ community the most.
Having been largely volunteer-resourced for most of its history, our client has recognised that the charity has outgrown the ability to remain entirely volunteer-led and has sponsored a cultural shift within the organisation. Since 2021 they have been on a journey to establish a staff team and are now looking to introduce this new role as they grow throughout 2024 to a team of 11.
The COO will join the Senior Leadership Team and will drive the development and implementation of the organisation’s strategy and operational plan to support longer-term evolution and growth of the organisation and its services. This will involve focus on the organisations IT and technical infrastructure with oversight on other business and governance functions. You will review key areas of the organisations operations and identify the best ways to manage in-house and outsourced functions to ensure operations are smooth, effective, and sustainable.

You will have strong project management skills with a track record of successfully driving small to medium sized projects and co-ordinate teams of people to deliver activity.
