You will be a fully qualified CYP MH Practitioner working within a multi-disciplinary, early intervention Mental Health Support Team (MHST) to increase and improve emotional wellbeing for 5–25-year-olds, and mental health provision within education settings.

You will have an active caseload of children and adolescents with mild – moderate emotional and mental health difficulties and will deliver evidence-based 1:1 and group interventions, employing the principles underpinning the national CYP-IAPT programme (Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies).  Low intensity interventions (e.g. CBT guided self-help) will be delivered in a range of education settings (primary, secondary, special, alternative provision and sixth form and further education colleges).  This will range from delivering evidence-based interventions for CYP and parents/carers in education settings, with mild – moderate presentations, to providing psychoeducation and training for a range of stakeholders, including children and young people, parents/carers and education staff, promoting a whole school approach to mental health.

You will work with people from different cultural backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary, and should be committed to equal opportunities.  You will also work closely with colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, CAMHS, education settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers.  This will build upon the ICB’s and Mind’s whole school approach to mental health provision.

• A current qualification from an accredited body to deliver evidence-based interventions for CYP
• Direct experience delivering interventions for CYP aged 5-25 with mild – moderate mental health difficulties
• Experience of routine outcome monitoring

We are seeking a qualified and experienced OISC level 2/3 immigration advisor/solicitor to join our pan-London Immigration service in Camden. 

As part of a team of legally trained advisors, you will be responsible for assisting women affected by domestic or sexual abuse with uncertain immigration status. Your role involves managing complex cases and collaborating closely with the team to provide comprehensive support to women as they rebuild their lives.

About You

You will have substantive experience in providing immigration advice and conducting casework, with the relevant Level 2/3  OISC qualification or equivalent (qualified solicitor)

 Please note only candidates with the relevant OISC qualification (or equivalent) and legal experience will be considered.

We seek someone who is with strong caseworker skills, with a commitment to keep survivors at the centre of service delivery whilst also delivering on service targets. The primary role of the Finance Manager is to oversee and manage the finances of Energy Projects Plus including providing high quality management information and support to the Chief Executive and Trustees to ensure the strong financial performance of the charity.

You will also be responsible for the accurate production of monthly salary calculations, including HMRC payments, quarterly VAT calculations and returns to HMRC, production of annual accounts, and ensuring a fully compliant annual audit.

You will work with and be Line Manager to a part-time finance assistant, who is responsible for day-to-day entries into the charity’s QuickBooks finance system and arranging day-to-day payments to staff and external organisations.

You will be the main point of contact on behalf of the charity for all financial matters, including influencing future strategy and direction, liaising with the Chief Executive.

Your skills will include:

·A relevant accounting qualification e.g. CIMA with minimum 3 years post qualification experience.

·A proven track record in charity management and a good understanding of the environment in which charities operate.

·Strong computer skills, including advanced user standard for mainstream accountancy software and Microsoft suite software

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Ensuring the effective running of the day-to-day financial operations in line with the charity’s financial policies and procedures and be the main point of contact for all enquiries regarding finance matters.

2. Income: ensuring timely, accurate recording and classification of all income on the charity’s QuickBooks system (including designated restricted funds); issuing sales invoices, including those for vatable sales; recording remittances, electronic banking transactions; carrying out the credit control function reporting potential bad debts to the Chief Executive.

3. Expenditure: ensuring appropriate authorisation is obtained for all expenditure; counterchecking all expenses claims for compliance with charity policy; ensuring accurate recording of expenditure on QuickBooks including correct cost code allocation; ensuring appropriate records of invoices and claims are filed appropriately.

4. Payroll: Liaising with the payroll service provider on a monthly basis to prepare input to salary calculations (new starters, leavers, adjustments etc) and countercheck payroll details from provider, arrange approval of figures, ensure pension and HMRC payments are made in compliance with requirements.

5. VAT return: calculating (including manual adjustments for irrecoverable VAT) and submitting quarterly VAT records, ensuring payment is made in compliance with requirements.

6. Management accounts: preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts, highlighting variances to budgets, liaising with Chief Executive in presenting to Trustees, and providing other financial information requested to inform strong financial management.

7. Annual accounts: preparing year-end accounts, processing year-end adjustments on QuickBooks, producing all supporting documentation required for annual external audit. Ensuring audited accounts are submitted to Charity Commission and Companies House before required deadlines.

8. Working with the Chief Executive to prepare the Trustees’ Annual Report in good time for approval by Trustees prior to inclusion in Annual Report and Financial Statement.

9. Maintaining and updating periodically the charity’s financial procedures policy.

About you

You’ll definitely be someone who loves working at a high level and has solid experience of providing close support to the Chief Executive. You are collaborative with excellent communication skills. You have excellent attention to detail and will thrive in a fast paced environment with strong organisation skills. You’ll be experienced in using various means of software with experience of managing a Chief Executive’s diary and liaising with external contractors.

The Senior Multiple Needs Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) will work within a dynamic, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service based at the CGL Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone.  The IDVA will provide support in the local community and at the Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone.  The successful candidate will be co-located up to 5 days a week at the Women’s Wellness Zone.

The IDVA will be closely working alongside CGL colleagues/team to deliver support to women with a range of complex support needs including substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, sex working, trafficking, and offending behaviour. The IDVA will work in collaboration with their team members to holistically support women in the borough of Ealing to achieve sustained recovery, improved health and wellbeing, helping women to manage/mitigate risks, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential in society as well as ensuring the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process.

The Senior Multiple Needs IDVA will assess the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support. As well as identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs. They will also proactively advocate and advice women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, encouraging them to engage with other agencies, and help co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support where necessary.

About You:

To be successful as the Senior Multiple Needs IDVA you will need to have:

Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. As well as understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.

Bringing your experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals and experience of working in a co-located setting with another agency and providing consultations/briefings to professionals to support in upskilling them around Domestic Abuse. The candidate will have experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work as part of an innovative service, designed to offer multi-disciplinary wrap-around support to women with multiple needs, with the aim of facilitating long-term recovery.

The Vacancy
We are offering this unique and exciting opportunity to join in the work of the Connexional Property Support team and the wider Methodist Church in delivering its strategic plan to make the best use of its buildings for mission in local communities across the country.

Working alongside the Director and colleagues within the team, you will be helping to provide the essential support and guidance the team offers to Trustees, Ministers, Connexional colleagues and the wider church.
In particular, your role will provide a crucial focus helping to guide Trustees and Ministers on matters including the planning, development and commercial potential for their individual buildings and wider Circuit portfolios to enable them to make informed choices and contribute to the promotion and delivery of the Methodist Church’s property strategy.

Through your specific knowledge and experience, you will also have input into the provision of guidance, advice, communications, training and good practice for District Property Officers and the wider Methodist Church on property matters.
This is a remote working role, with the post holder focussing on supporting churches in the Midlands and Northern regions. You will be required to travel to our offices in Manchester or London and other locations around the country as necessary.

About You
We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive contribution to the work of the Property Support team and be equally comfortable collaborating in a team environment or under your own initiative. You will be an experienced property professional, with a record of developing and implementing innovative and practical strategies and solutions for the use, reuse and development options for individual properties, larger portfolios and sites, including commercial considerations and management options.

You will be called upon to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders including committees and therefore a mix of excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills are essential.

The award-winning ISM is the UK’s professional membership body for musicians. We are now looking for a highly effective Legal Officer to provide a wide range of advice to ISM members on matters such as unpaid fees, employment, freelance issues and basic contractual matters. Our new Legal Officer will also prepare advice materials for members and keep the legal sections of the ISM website up to date.

The ISM has seen considerable growth in recent years, with a current membership of over 11,000 professional musicians. The ISM is known for its excellent services such as legal advice as well as campaigning and professional development.

This job is for someone who can demonstrate knowledge of the law and/or experience of providing legal advice. You will be a committed and proactive individual who has good interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
