This role is perfect for someone progressing their corporate fundraising career, but not yet ready to specialise in account management or new business. A priority will be to ensure that we really support and value our existing partners, but you will also have the opportunity to research and develop new opportunities with the Head of New Business. Valuing the importance of the day-to-day routine of administration, data entry etc will also be central to this role and an important responsibility.

We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to support the Head of Membership Engagement in the overall development and delivery of commercial revenue streams at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. This will include all current sponsorship for conferences, including our flagship Fundraising Convention, corporate membership, and strategic partnerships. 

Job purpose:

• Recruiting, retaining, and developing corporate members.
• Identifying and securing new sponsors and exhibitors for the Chartered Institute’s event business, including one-day conferences, webinars, and Fundraising Convention.
• To identify, secure, and nurture long-term strategic partnerships.

​Key Accountabilities

• Work and support the Head of Membership Engagement across the following income streams:
  • Fundraising Convention: Responsible for the overall management of expo – planning, sales and invoicing;
  • Fundraising Convention sponsorship: lead on this and assist the Executive Director when required;
  • One-day conference sponsorship and expo: to be partnership lead on day-to-day conference sponsorship sales including print advertising;
• Develop partnership support for the strategic objectives of the Chartered Institute;
• Work with the Membership Team, supporting all areas of membership where required;
• Strategic corporate partnerships: Work with key clients and provide support for the Chartered Institute of Fundraising’s portfolio of events, including Group events.

Business Development

• To be client-focused and visible in the marketplace with sponsors and supporters.
• To create a plan for growing expo, conference, and corporate supporter revenue.
• To work with the Head of Membership Engagement and Executive Team to highlight potential new partners and create a strategy to increase support from existing customers.
• To work closely with the Professional Development Team to maximise all revenue-generating opportunities.

Financial

• Work closely with the Finance Team to maintain accurate reporting of revenues.

Marketing

• Work with the Marketing Team to ensure all commercial opportunities are optimised across all promotional materials.

Administration

• To collate all materials and information from all Fundraising Convention sponsors.
• To manage the Convention expo pack and any administrative requirements of Fundraising Convention exhibitors.
• To attend Fundraising Convention and provide administrative support to all sponsors, exhibitors and partners as required.
• To be responsible for the overall management of the Fundraising Convention exhibition, including planning, sales, and invoicing.
• Any other administrative duties required to deliver the partnership strategy.

Overview of the role

A key role in the fundraising team, responsible for providing stewardship and support to Glass Door’s event & community fundraisers, while supporting the Fundraising Manager to achieve the team’s income targets.

What you will do as part of our team

Community and Event Fundraising Support

• Build and maintain relationships with community and event fundraisers, ensuring they are supported before, during and after their events.
• Support on certain fundraising, cultivation and stewardship events, including the annual Sleep Out and the annual supporter thank you event.
• Draft copy for, update and create community and event fundraising pages on the Glass Door website and promotional emails which can be sent through the Glass Door mailing platform.
• Support with identifying new prospective community supporters and assist with the development and fulfilment of targeted approaches.
• Ensure all supporters are thanked in a timely manner after their event.
• Manage the Glass Door Christmas carol concert, working with the Communications team to promote and market the event.
• Work closely with the Communications team to:

- Encourage fundraisers to share their fundraising stories for inclusion on social media and our xxxxx website.

- Plan and deliver any marketing, press and social media requirements for events

Other Fundraising Support

• Develop Glass Door’s schools giving programme, including designing engaging fundraising packs, writing successful charity of the year applications and delivering presentations and assemblies.
• Support on church fundraising, including delivering presentations to churches, attending fundraising events, promoting appeals and Glass Door events (e.g. Sleep Out) and liaising with church staff.
• Manage the process for soliciting, monitoring, thanking and recognising donations in kind, working with colleagues across the organisation.

Fundraising Administration

• Working with Finance and the Income Processing Assistant to ensure accurate and timely processing of donations, including scanning cheques, coding bank transfers and web donations, entering details in CRM database, banking cash, setting up Direct Debits, receiving in-kind donations and acknowledging/thanking donors via email or post.
• Create and update donor records on CRM, ensuring records are kept up to date, accurate and consistent at all times.
• Ensure all charity fundraising activity (including "in aid of" events) is compliant with relevant charity and statutory legislation and recognised code of practice.

This Partnerships Manager role (maternity cover) is a role to develop and extend our Together Network of local and national charities supporting churches to engage in local social action. It is key to our work in strengthening existing, and building new, partnerships. We want to develop and grow the depth and reach of our Network, and reshape it. The role also works to equip, support and resource local churches, and is key to the external face of CUF. The person appointed will work complementarily alongside other CUF staff such as those involved in church engagement and communications. Imago Dei is a small but growing charity that works with women in prison and once they leave prison. We are seeking a part-time Finance Officer to aid our growth, the role can be a hybrid working role incorporating some office working, and in-person attendance at staff meetings and staff days. 

We are looking for a team member that will be able to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the finances of Imago Dei using QuickBooks and associated applications.  To ensure, alongside the accountant, that the charity remains compliant with all statutory financial regulations that apply to it and any subsidiaries and coordinating the preparation of data to meet reporting requirements.  Streamlining processes and systems.

The role will require someone who can work flexibly and independently, with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using accounting software and be confident and able to adapt their skills to meet the requirements of an organization, in a period of rapid growth and change.

Main duties:

The role includes but is not limited to:

1. To be responsible for accurate data input and analysis using accounting software and other commercial systems

2. Processing transactions including purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger, payroll journals, general journals, bank posting; and helping resolve any other related issues

3. Complete bank reconciliations, petty cash reconciliations, cash flow analysis and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis

Role Purpose

The Finance Manager is key to managing the daily operations of the finance team to ensure that all aspects of the finance function operate successfully. We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated fundraiser to join our successful team as we embark on a major capital campaign to raise £150m. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role will be responsible for personally securing six and seven-figure gifts from High-Net-Worth Individuals.

The Senior Philanthropy Manger will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy, the Senior Principal Gifts Manager and the rest of the Philanthropy team, feeding into the overall strategy of high-value partnerships. They will manage a portfolio of funder accounts which deliver long term, high-value strategic partnerships as well as building new relationships.

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will also manage 2 roles – Patrons Manager and a Philanthropy Manager (HNWI and Legacies), with oversight of both the Patrons Programme and Legacy programme.
