This will be a 15-minute online interview with one of the recruitment team.
We are also specifically looking for young people (18-30) interested in trusteeship and have created two shadow trusteeship roles. The successful candidates will help us shape the shadow trusteeships in terms of the time commitment they can make to the board and the areas of governance they would like to be more engaged in. This will be discussed during the interview. As a new initiative, we will be trialling the shadow trusteeship programme for one year, after which the shadow trustees can decide to become full members of the board.
How to Apply
Please complete the candidate survey when applying for role on our website to help us measure diversity (and opt in to the Guaranteed Interview Scheme if you are eligible)

Webinar
We will be holding a webinar to talk to interested candidates and answer your questions about trusteeship on 10 November, online at 6-7pm BST, before the application deadline 17 November 11.59pm BST. Join our board as a trustee: help us navigate a path to a sustainable future
Are you passionate about making a difference and equipped with the skills to guide a small charity through challenging times?
CMV Action are seeking proactive and committed trustees to join our board and support us in building a sustainable future.
About CMV Action
CMV Action is the only charity in the UK providing support and information to families affected by congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV). Congenital CMV is the most common viral infection that can affect babies before birth, with potential long-term health impacts such as hearing loss, developmental delays and vision loss. It can also cause miscarriage and stillbirth.
As many as 1 in 200 newborn babies are born with congenital CMV. The majority of these will not have any symptoms. However, around 1 in 1,000 born in the UK every year will have permanent disabilities as a result of congenital CMV – around 900 children every year. As congenital CMV is a relatively unknown condition, it is a common misconception that it is rare. It is in fact more common than Down’s syndrome, Toxoplasmosis, Spina Bifida or Cystic Fibrosis.

At its core, the Trans Legal Clinic is a human rights practice because Trans+ rights are human rights and without the influence of trans+ and non-binary people many of the human rights which are enjoyed by our cisgendered counterparts would cease to exist as we know them today. The mission of the Trans Legal Clinic is simple; we provide free and accessible legal help to transgender and non-binary people in need. Our overarching vision is a society where all people have access to the legal resources required for gender self-determination and where gender diversity is not just accepted but embraced, with trans+ people equipped with the necessary legal tools to navigate the world in their affirmed gender.
