What you'll do:

Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader / Manager

This is a unique opportunity to manage our enterprise hub called Tottenham Green Enterprise Centre (TGEC) and to be involved in the support at our site in Enfield, Angel Yard.

The Design Studio Assistant will support the delivery of material and assets that will help to raise the profile and brand awareness of Independent Age among our key audiences, as well as help us to reach new people. 

You should understand design and production best practice, processes and techniques across both online and offline formats. You will be working directly with printers so should have knowledge of print materials. You will have excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to prioritise, deliver, manage, and coordinate several projects and activities simultaneously to tight timescales. Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices. Within Learning Disability services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. Within Mental Health and Homelessness services they will enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. The Role

The purpose of the Project and Policy Officer role is to:

• Provide vital project management support to some of the large projects that National Voices runs, such as the Health and Wellbeing Alliance which connects the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector with government stakeholders.
• Assist senior members of the policy team to develop policy projects and outputs which support the adoption and spread of equitable and person-centred health and care services.

Responsibilities

 Project organisation and administrative

· Support and coordinate the project management of significant high-profile projects, such as the national Health and Wellbeing Alliance. 

· Maintain records of activity, an online resource library, minutes etc as required.

· Lead on collating evidence of activity and its impact to support evaluation.  

· Support the planning and facilitation of online and in person events such as working days and webinars.

· Support stakeholder management, particularly via email and diary management using electronic systems.

· Maintain lists of stakeholders and contacts to aid dissemination and networking.

Insight, engagement and communication

· Work with voluntary sector organisations and people with the greatest health and care needs in the coordination and support of workshops, focus groups and in-depth interviews.

Our approach to hybrid working

We recognise the importance of coming together regularly, in-person, as a team, so we can share learnings and spend social time with each other. We also recognise that people need flexibility, and that homeworking enables focused work and can fit well in people’s lives.

We ask all staff to take part in pre-arranged team meetings which take place every six weeks in our office space. We also might ask you to meet in-person with members of your team from time to time, or to be available for face-to-face meetings with clients and partners where this enhances the work.

We assume that this would usually not amount to more than one day per fortnight for people who work full time.

The post holder will maximise volunteer contribution to the presence of Terrence Higgins Trust, allow for consultation with service users, test and involve service users and ensure that a high profile is maintained in the wider community.

We are looking for individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding role helping to change the lives of young people by taking up a permanent role as a part-time Programme Support Tutor. You will work closely with our existing team, supporting the delivery and organisation of the IntoUniversity programme in the centre.

The main duties of the role

To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.

• To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.
• To assist the IntoUniversity Centre Leader in liaising with schools and other partner bodies, in organising the classroom and resources and in planning project delivery. 
• To update and maintain IntoUniversity displays, publicity and resources.
• To work with the IntoUniversity Centre Leader to recruit children and young people to the programme, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks. 
• To develop educational resources and worksheets for use across all IntoUniversity programmes. 
• To ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and legal requirements, including the Children’s Act,  Children and Young People (Scotland) Act, Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act, Protection of Vulnerable  Groups (Scotland) Act, and legislation and policies related to Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety. 
• To champion diversity and inclusion in your role at all times, referring to the Diversity and Inclusion Staff Responsibilities Guide. 
• To undertake any task that may be requested from time to time that may be consistent with the nature and scope of this post. 

Contract
Permanent, part-time

Working hours

• 16 hours per week
• Monday, Thursday 14:00-18:00; Tues, Weds 13:30-17:30 
• Local school term-times only (excluding public holidays)

Days of employment (if term time only)
You will be employed 188 days (of 4 hours each) per year, made up as follows: 

• 164 days of work (inclusive of additional days below)
• 18 days of paid annual leave (to be taken outside of local school term times and on any bank holidays  occurring during term time). For the avoidance of doubt, non-working time during school holidays which is in excess of your holiday entitlement shall be unpaid.

Additional 32 hours (or 8 days of 4 hours each)

These will be agreed between you and your line-manager, and may include days during school holidays. They will typically include three whole team meetings, one delivery team meeting and the annual staff conference. These will be pro-rated based on when you join in the academic year.

As the dedicated charity for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, the Imperial Health Charity helps hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising. The charity supports five hospitals—Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea, St Mary’s, and the Western Eye Hospital.

You’ll join a team of three, including Fundraising Manager (line manager), Senior Fundraising Manager and a Fundraising Officer. We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Night Support Worker to join our RBKC Mental Health Service in Kensington and Chelsea.

RBKC MH Night Support Workers enable people with mental health support needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.
