As Governance Officer, you’ll:
- ensure the administration of governance processes is completed with accuracy and timeliness,
- support with administration for governance projects and Board, committee, and subsidiary meetings, including agendas, paper deadlines, minutes and tracking actions,
- track filing deadlines and compliance requirements for Dogs Trust and subsidiaries,
- refine our policy development process, maintain the policy register and the Council member intranet, ensuring trustees have access to make effective decisions.
About you:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need exceptional administration skills, with the ability to organise information effectively, including organising high-level meetings, comprehensive minute-taking and following up on meeting actions. To achieve this, you’ll need to be efficient and organised, with meticulous attention to detail. You’ll also require a grasp of the governance process and it’s mechanisms, such as understanding how Board appointments are made, what happens at Board meetings and importance of robust record keeping. Above all, a commitment to maintaining confidentiality is essential, as this role has access to sensitive information.

Job purpose
As a Senior Policy Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the policy influencing work of Runnymede across a wide range of areas. Your responsibilities will involve researching and developing evidence-based policy positions, drafting briefings in priority areas and supporting with policy reports, while working closely with other members of the team to contribute to organisational initiatives. A key part of this role will involve supporting the Policy Manager and Head of Policy in managing the Runnymede’s Parliamentary engagement, which includes monitoring ongoing legislation, organising Parliamentary events and managing the Secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group on Race and Community.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insights and Evaluation team at Dementia UK supporting the organisation to build the evidence base for Admiral Nursing through collecting and sharing evidence on the effectiveness of the Admiral Nursing model.
As the Insights and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the team’s systems and folders, ensuring they remain organised and up-to-date. You will act as the main point of contact for enquiries within the team and manage the team’s email inbox. - Group formation and support: Oversee the setup and operation of 10-12 self-sustaining and independent peer support groups within your assigned region across the lifetime of the three-year project. About The Role
The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. This role will co-lead on the delivery of K+, supporting participants on our arts, humanities and social science pathways. K+ is King’s flagship widening participation programme for sixth form and college students.
