The HR Manager is the principal HR point of contact and leads on day to day HR matters, delivering a professional service across the organisation including:

• recruitment and professional development
• all contractual matters and compliance with employment law and GDPR
• monthly payroll processing
• pensions and other employee benefits

The post-holder supports the Chief Operating Officer in HR policy development and the integration of Henry Moore Foundation values and behaviours.

Our successful candidate will be CIPD qualified or have the equivalent level of HR management experience within a similar role, ideally in the cultural or not-for-profit sectors, as well as the following key skills:

• a full understanding of UK employment law, HR functions and best practices
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• able to prioritise with excellent time management
• approachable, empathetic and able to deal with any employee issues calmly and swiftly
• strong organisational and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach

Experience in payroll processing is highly desirable, along with knowledge of HR software systems – training will be provided on BrightPay/Connect.

The post is based at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, 30 miles north of London in rural East Hertfordshire, mid-way between London and Cambridge. On average, one day per month will be spent at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds. Some homeworking may be considered.

As Philanthropy Lead, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a successful high-value donor programme, cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals, co-investment opportunities with trusts and foundations, and leading Youth Music’s philanthropy to meet ambitious income and activity targets. 

Your role will manage Youth Music’s donor pipeline, acquisition and retention strategy, making use of relationship management tools to optimise donor experience and track fundraising performance. SUDC UK was founded in 2017 to raise awareness of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC), encourage and fund scientific research and offer support and advice to affected families.  We believe SUDC research should receive more attention and scientific investment and are inspired by efforts to impact SIDS (cot death), where there has been an 80% reduction in infant deaths in the past 30 years. We can do so much more for SUDC children and their families.

As Individual Giving and Appeals Manager, you’ll deliver integrated fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels — helping us grow our individual giving base and strengthen donor loyalty. 

Alongside driving individual and regular giving, you’ll help shape a new in-memory giving offer, build our legacy giving programme from the ground up, and grow our Named Funds programme.

Working closely with teams across the charity, you’ll design inspiring donor journeys and stewardship plans. You’ll also use data and insight to refine our approach and ensure every supporter feels truly valued.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a creative and strategic fundraiser who is passionate about delivering impactful campaigns and building meaningful supporter relationships. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Demonstrable experience in managing individual giving campaigns, legacy fundraising, and / or in-memory fundraising. 

• Proven experience developing compelling propositions that drive results and generate income/supporter acquisition.

• Strong planning and organisation skills, with the ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously. 

• Proven record of being results-driven and achieving agreed fundraising targets ad outcomes. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication as well as relationship-building skills with an ability to inspire and engage supporters.

Having begun as a two-person part time project with the modest goal to development of some resources to support listening practices, the School for Synodality has grown to become a hub of encouragement and support around synodal practices within the Church in England and Wales and an important voice in the international conversation about the implementation of synodality. The School for Synodality Operations Manager will be central to the operational and administrative functions of the School for Synodality, including overseeing the work of the Administrator and Communications Specialist and supporting projects and partnerships with diocese, local church communities and other stakeholders across the Church. Overview of the Head of Campaigns role and the team

Barnabas Aid is seeking a dynamic and strategic individual for the role of Head of Campaigns, a critical position within our International Outreach Department. The post-holder will lead the development and delivery of impactful campaigns, aimed at raising awareness, prayer, and vital donations for the charity’s work with persecuted Christians worldwide. The Head of Campaigns will be responsible for key initiatives such as the Barnabas Brekkie/Breakfast campaign, as well as major supporter events like Encourage. In addition, they will focus on key fundraising activities, ensuring high levels of supporter acquisition, engagement, and retention.

This is a new and exciting role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to shape the future of Barnabas Aid's fundraising and supporter relations strategy. As BSR’s Marketing and Communications Manager you will deliver impactful communications and data-driven marketing plans that support our mission and vision. 

You’ll work with teams to build strategic marketing and communications plans and manage a tactical calendar of multi-channel activity. All of which will drive engagement with clinical guidance, the latest science and research, quality education programmes, professional events and conferences. 

You’ll focus on promoting member benefits to boost recruitment and retention across the adult, paediatric and adolescent rheumatology community. And you’ll help colleagues to tell compelling stories of our work, to celebrate the work of our members, to showcase rheumatology as a career and to highlight the issues of most importance to our members. 

You’ll lead a talented team that manages the organisation’s communications channels, digital marketing, content strategy, and our people focused brand. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Membership, you’ll play a key role in our data capability and insights, helping us to focus on impact led activity. You’ll also help colleagues to gather feedback and intelligence about our members and audiences, enabling us to continually improve our member offering. 

This role requires a creative, pro-active and impact-oriented marcomms professional who excels in both planning and hands-on execution.
