As Educational Partnerships Manager you will be a key contributor to the regional educational partnerships team, supporting the team to achieve shared KPIs for the region and the wider organisation. The role of Educational Partnerships Manager involves working directly with young people and teachers in schools that are delivering / supporting the delivery of our Young Enterprise programmes.
The Educational Partnerships Manager role will suit someone who can work with young people, build rapport and engage young people from a range of backgrounds. You will need to be confident in working within education settings and liaising with school staff, volunteers, and corporate volunteers. This can be a varied role, but a very exciting role as well as very rewarding. Your experience in relationship development and management will help with developing new schools as well as supporting existing school relationships. There is not an exhaustive list but is to provide you with a flavour of the role.

About the Youth Investment Fund (YIF)
The Youth Investment Fund (YIF) is over £300m of capital and revenue grants, funded by the UK Government.
YIF is a commitment to young people to transform and level up the out-of-school youth sector. It will provide truly innovative youth facilities in levelling up priority areas, and early-stage/seed resource funding to underpin them, enabling more positive activities that deliver improved outcomes for young people.
Phase 1 was launched in January by Children in Need on behalf of the UK Government delivering £12 million of funding for small-scale projects and we’re now delivering phase 2.

About this role:
This role plays an important part in enabling the YIF team to support the delivery of the Fund and to provide excellent customer service to its grantees.
We are looking for someone who: is motivated by our mission and is looking for an administrative position at SIB. You will need to like working with numbers, be good at scheduling calls and engaging with customers and have excellent attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
1. To support effective triage of YIF grants to enable timely monthly disbursements to take place.
2. To ensure that calls are scheduled with each grantee due a disbursement in each month.
3. To support the team with reconciling spend evidence.
4. To undertake these calls with each grantee, checking the figures they have shared through the grantee community in Salesforce, updating these figures diligently and accurately.
5. To collect additional information on the progress of each grantee’s capital project, updating relevant fields in Salesforce diligently and accurately.
6. To collate all relevant updates from each month’s calls, and share this reporting with the Senior Relationship Manager and Head of Property Funding to enable accurate cross-checking with the finance team and timely reporting to DCMS.
7. To manage the customer inbox on a daily basis and respond to enquiries from customers using guidance notes and where necessary escalating queries to the YIF Admin Team Leader in the first instance.
8. To maintain grantee tasks in Salesforce and ensure that Relationship Managers are aware of any actions that have arisen from monthly calls.
9. To provide support where necessary to external Relationship Managers.
10. To support general administrative coordination across approved grants, most particularly those relating to disbursements, data input, data checking and task management.
11. To work within the organisation's values, principles and processes to achieve operational excellence.
12. To adopt our continuous improvement and learning ethos.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Communication and Marketing Manager to join our dynamic social mobility charity which exists to remove the barriers that prevent children and young people having meaningful access to the natural world. Through a week on one of our three heritage farms, Nethercott House in Devon, Lower Treginnis in Pembrokeshire, and Wick Court in Gloucestershire, children and young people experience increased learning and engagement, improved connections and wellbeing, and leave us with an enhanced sense of environmental citizenship. About the Role
This role will be responsible for developing the vision and direction of the Communication and Marketing Strategy but will fundamentally be an operational management delivery role. Responsible for developing and rolling out a multi‐channel communication and marketing strategy that will:
- raise the profile of the charity by communicating news about projects, programmes, and partnerships on social channels, on online and print media outlets, TV networks,
- deliver communications to generate sales to secure a pipeline of farm residential visit bookings from beneficiary groups (being children from schools in disadvantaged communities, youth groups, young carers, children in care, etc) across England and Wales.
- secure income from fundraising by communicating the charity’s mission, vision, and values to donors, funders, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners.
The successful applicant will have considerable experience of developing and delivering a communication and marketing strategy as well as experience of designing and delivering multi-channel sales and marketing campaigns. Excellent people skills are key, as you will need to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Raising the profile of the Charity by devising and implementing a beneficiary‐focused communications strategy that supports both the sales and fundraising function, including print, social, and online communications that target teachers and other adults who are key decision makers for our beneficiaries.
- Developing and embedding an integrated communications and marketing strategy to deliver the ambitions of the Business plan, to reach new markets and successfully translate connections into bookings (‘sales’) or generate income from funders to support fundraising.
- Leading on the management and development of all channels of communication for the Charity: social media, website, YouTube channel, print media.
This position is home based but you will be required to travel to our farms and Head Office based in Exeter as required in order to fulfil the role.

THE ROLE
This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. There is a small team of three based in the South. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across the region, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region. You will play a crucial role setting up our Autumn 121 mentoring programmes, liaising with schools, recruiting mentors and ensuring that we have the right mentors for the mentees on programme. You will also deliver our workshop programme within the area.
Mentoring programme
- Manage overall success of the cohorts (groups of mentees and mentors) in your region, including coordinating and administering events and communications for cohorts in your area.
- Deliver engaging on-boarding sessions for mentees.

WHAT WE DO
Young people from lower income families are 40% less likely to go to University than wealthier peers (Dept for Education, 2020) which can have a lifelong impact on earning potential. Covid-19 has deepened inequalities (Social Mobility Foundation, 2022) and negatively impacted on young people's wellbeing (GirlGuiding, 2020). We believe that no girls should have their futures limited by their gender, sex, ethnicity, background, or parental income and they should be supported to realise their ambitions, to discover their self-worth, and to develop their capacity to shape their world and their futures.
We work in communities of least advantage across England to deliver two core programmes to achieve this vision. Through our mentoring programme we connect 14-19 year old girls with a mentor and a wider network of role models who are women and deliver opportunities which help them to build life skills and nurture their ambitions. Based on the idea that 'you can't be what you can't see', our mentors often help girls to broaden their horizons and create a more positive vision of their futures. After the programme, the mentees can join a free, lifelong network of support - our Ambassador Community, which offers further opportunities to reach their goals, build their confidence and to share their voices and experiences.
Our programmes help girls and young women to develop the knowledge, skills, self-belief and opportunities to thrive, and to be supported as part of a network that champions them and ensures their voices are heard.
THE ROLE
Purpose: To manage the effective implementation of programme delivery and development of Merseyside, Tyne and Wear, and Tees Valley Regions. This role will work with staff, schools and corporate partners to ensure that we deliver impact for the girls and young women we serve.
Manage The Girls’ Network mentoring (and other) programmes in your region:
Partnership development:
- Develop effective partnerships with new schools, recruiting them into The Girls’ Network’s programme to enable your team to meet regional targets. Maintaining relationships for successful renewals.
- Collaborate with fundraising colleagues during the engagement process of new corporate partners, to ensure regional targets and needs are met e.g. income, mentor numbers, programme content.
- Oversee delivery of mentor opportunities for the region’s corporate partnerships, ensuring Memorandum of Understanding are met, referring any issues of concern to the Fundraising team for support and guidance.
- Provide relevant information to fundraising and Monitoring Evaluation Research and Learning colleagues on any Tier 1 partners in the region, to enable production of evaluation reports
- Lead on delivery of the region’s awareness events, acting as the key contact person.
- Collaborate with the Fundraising & Communications team on key campaigns, e.g. International Womens’ Day, to reach key audiences and help build awareness and support income generation.
Mentor Community Development:
- Work with programme colleagues and the fundraising team to identify regional mentoring needs and coordinate the implementation of a mentor recruitment and engagement plan in your region, ensuring your region has an appropriate amount of mentors to run programmes.
- Lead on the implementation and delivery of the region’s events, acting as the key contact person.
Safeguarding support and leadership:
- Provide day-to-day safeguarding support for the Programme team in the North of the country – escalating issues to the Safeguarding lead where appropriate.
- Provide feedback on key safeguarding risks or issues, and needs for development or training to the Safeguarding Lead
Monitoring and evaluation:
- Oversee the collection of regional data and ensure that your staff keep Salesforce up to date with mentee, mentor, schools and partners relationships to effectively track the progress, and impact of mentoring relationships.
- Periodically evaluate and report on the progress and impact of The Girls’ Network initiatives in the region.
- Hold overall responsibility for regional targets, reporting to Senior Leadership Team.
- Manage and allocate the budget for the mentoring programme in the region, to cover workshops, celebration events, travel etc
Line Management of region’s Network Managers:
- Manage Network Managers in the region, through regular 1:1s and accountability of reporting.
- Support the wellbeing and professional development of your regional team.
- Cover or support with programme delivery when needed.
Grow our network in your region:
- Identify opportunities for growth in North region and work with Senior Leadership Team to develop regional strategy
- Advocate and promote The Girls’ Network at every opportunity to raise awareness of the charity and encourage community members to become mentors
Programme Leadership within The Girls’ Network Team:
Learning & Development
- Provide shadowing opportunities to Network Managers in other regions.
- As agreed with the Co-Executive Director - Programmes (Interim), travel to other regions to provide targeted training to other Network Managers.
- Coordinate Network Managers’ induction and recruitment.
- Contribute to The Girls’ Network culture of shared learning
Responsibility for an additional workstream:
- Each senior network manager is responsible for progressing aspects of programme workstream to timelines agreed with the accountable member of Senior Leadership Team. These may vary with need over time. Workstream to be agreed with Line Manager, but may include worksteams such as:
- Programme Process and Resource Development
- Safeguarding
- Sales Development etc

NYAS provides independent monitoring services nationally which aims to ensure that all residents within homes are safeguarded and have their wellbeing promoted at all times. We are a small dynamic team and which takes pride in our forward-thinking and transparent approach and we're seeking a new Programme Manager for current and new work in Sierra Leone and Kenya.
We work with people who are marginalised by society such as through their disability, gender, age, conflict or environment. We tackle the reasons for vulnerability and exclusion, building on the self-reliance and dignity secured through economic solutions to tackle stigma, discrimination and abuse of rights.
The successful Programme Manager will manage current programmes in Sierra Leone (working with a corporate on child labour and strengthening CBOs for more inclusive governance) and support the development of new programmes in Kenya and possibly Tanzania. The Programme Manager will play a key role in the development of APT Action on Poverty.
Reporting directly to the CEO, your key responsibilities will be: supporting contract delivery and financial management, developing/maintaining donor relationships, seeking new partnerships and project opportunities, proposal development and applications to institutions.
Experience of living and working in East or West Africa, a track record in proposal development and applications to institutions, knowledge of livelihood development and rights based approaches are key areas for this role.
This is a remote role, we meet up once a month in Evesham. We will also consider applicants who wish to work 80% FTE.

ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a creative, engaging and resourceful Administrator who can support the Youth Engagement Team at Ocean Generation to deliver our brand of Ocean Intelligence to young people across the globe. The successful candidate will be instrumental in our aim to inspire thousands of young people to engage in Ocean action.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
General Admin:
• Supporting with the day-to-day tasks of the Youth Engagement Team, including managing the youth inbox, booking co-working space, sourcing and purchasing materials, generating certificates for participants, etc.
• Managing the team project plans via Monday and team events calendar to ensure the smooth running of all events.
• Building new contact lists for potential partnerships to widen our reach and maintaining current database.
• Supporting the Youth Engagement Lead in the training of Interns
• Improving current processes to be more streamlined and increase team productivity
Marketing and Promotion:
• Designing content on Canva to ensure that all Youth Engagement materials are up-to-date and on brand
• Updating content on websites and platforms when required
• Uploading Youth Engagement content to YouTube
Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Collating partner feedback through Typeform and Mentimeter to inform future developments of all Youth Engagement Programmes
• Assisting in impact tracking
Event Support:
• On the ground support assisting in the running of stalls and youth engagement activities at large scale events across the UK, engaging young people in fun and informative Ocean-themed activities and challenges

Established in 2009 by film producer Jo Ruxton, we have galvanised a growing wave of change by exposing the threat of plastic pollution to our health and the health of our Ocean. Our award-winning documentary ‘A Plastic Ocean’, was named by Sir David Attenborough as “one of the most important films of our time” and ignited mass public awareness about the impact of plastic on our Ocean.
Today we address the full range of human actions threatening the Ocean with a particular focus on engaging young people.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:
•Analytical: proven ability to improve systems and processes
•Microsoft whizz: advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Forms, etc.)
•Well organised and able to manage several tasks in a variety of projects simultaneously, keeping accurate notes and completing follow up actions
•Excellent communication skills: comfortable speaking in public, can quickly connect with people to establish positive relationships, presents information clearly
•Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, using own initiative, when necessary
•A passion for the natural world and our Ocean!
Desirable:
• Familiarity with Typeform, Mentimeter, Canva, Wordpress, Monday dot com
• Experience of working in remote or hybrid teams
Salary: £12,500 per annum (£25k pro rata)
Contract Type: This will be a part-time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract (with the possibility of extension). 2.5 days a week (to be worked Mondays to Thursdays – exact days to be determined with successful candidate)

Role Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team of Regional Managers, where you will work in partnership with employers and schools to deliver our impactful programme.
The main purpose of this role is to grow, develop and deliver all aspects of the day-to-day relationship management of:
· Schools and colleges running the Career Ready programme
· Local employer supporters, corporate partners supporters, other key local stakeholders and networks
You will be responsible for a local patch of schools and colleges and a portfolio of employer partnerships. Regional Managers are also responsible for building and maintaining a local network of employer supporters and seeking opportunities for new employer support.
There will be opportunities to be creative, as well as being autonomous in how you run and develop the programme with the Career Ready schools and colleges in your area.
