We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take on the permanent role of Regional Operations Manager for our centres in North West London (Brent, Hammersmith, Haringey, North Islington and North Kensington)

As a Regional Operations Manager you will line manage the Centre Leaders in your region to ensure that centres are working effectively, that the high quality of programme delivery to young people is maintained across the cluster, and that targets are monitored and met. And of course, you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people and helping them achieve their ambitions.

Role Summary

The Challenge Events Officer will work closely with the Senior Community and Challenge Events Manager (SCCEM) and Engagement Assistant (EA) to deliver significant elements of the charity’s fundraising strategy, in particular our challenge events. The post holder will be responsible for recruitment, management and stewardship of our existing challenge event portfolio to increase income in an area which has seen significant growth.

This new role will provide dedicated 1-2-1 support to people accessing the Foodbank, delivering Foodbank collection sessions and developing our remote and in-person signposting and support for those accessing the Foodbank. • Providing operational support to Foodbank collection centres in host venues across Lambeth and Croydon

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year round night shelter provision. 

APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support. 

The Community Fundraising and Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships within the local community to support APAP’s fundraising efforts, including schools, local businesses, faith and community groups.  Workforce

• Maintain a positive culture within the Centre in line with the London Irish Centre values and expectations.
• Overall responsibility for management, development, motivation, support and appraisal of the community services teams, and other team members when agreed with the line manager.
• Maintain and implement effective policies and processes for managing staff and volunteers, including recruitment and retention, induction, training and appraisals. 
• Ensure adequate and appropriately skilled staffing of the community services team.
• Monitor performance against budgets, targets and Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure best practice and quality assured delivery of Community Services and Programmes.

Financial 

• Overall responsibility for management and reporting of community services budget. 
• Overall responsibility for management and monitoring of all community services` grants. 
• Responsibility for ensuring services are managed within delegated budget.
• Operating within financial governance arrangements at London Irish Centre.

Income generation

• Ensure relationships with all supporters and donors are managed and developed effectively, including trusts, individuals, major donors and corporate partners. 
• Identify suitable new grant and trust funds and lead on applications.
• Lead on monitoring, reporting and submissions for current grant and trust funds in accordance with funders` requirements.

Impact and Innovation 

• Overall responsibility for the service`s impact management in line with the London Irish Centre’s theory of change. 
• Lead on identification and adoption of innovative technology to improve the processes and impact on community services.
• Overall responsibility for communicating the outcomes and impact of the community services and programmes.
• Strategic Development.
• Work with the CEO, other management and the Board of Trustees to set and achieve the charity`s strategic objectives. 
• Ensure Community Services resources are effectively targeted. 
• Lead in implementing a strategic plan for Community Services and support team leaders to deliver against performance targets. 
• Develop and foster positive relationships with external stakeholders.

A waking Night Support Worker will help to provided support to the Young People in the service through the night. You will report to the team leader who will supervise your engagement and support of our Young People through the night. What you'll do:
- Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/ Manager.
- Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions.
- Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available.
- Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Philanthropy who will develop, provide leadership and operational delivery of the philanthropy fundraising strategy for Our Future Health. The successful candidate will be someone who is highly motivated, proactive and passionate about our mission, with an ability to influence and inspire people.

Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent, and treat diseases. We are a charity, supported by the UK Government, in partnership with charities and industry. We work closely with the NHS and with public authorities across all nations and regions of the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

The successful Director of Philanthropy will represent Our Future Health at pitches, fundraising events and meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Lead the planning and management of High Value income streams as well taking a proactive role in fundraising high value gifts from Trusts & Foundations, Corporate Partnerships and Major Donors. 
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, with the Code of Fundraising Practice, and with official guidance issued by the Fundraising Regulator.
• Undertake research and make use of tools to identify potential High Value partners.
• Develop strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement the philanthropy strategy.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value donors, ensuring effective solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up to secure significant contributions (six-seven figure gifts). You will lead on prospecting, stewarding, maintaining, and uplifting a portfolio of major donors.
• Build a portfolio of corporate partners, including securing high-value Charity Of The Year partnerships. You will work with the Our Future Health team to grow this income stream from prospecting, approaches, applications, pitches, stewardship and providing account management.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of Trusts & Foundation supporters. Responsible for researching, approaching and developing compelling applications with a focus on ensuring Trusts & Foundations provide a long-term, diverse and sustainable income stream. 
• Work closely with colleagues in the Communications Team to write and design compelling cases for support that are tailored to our High Value prospects and partnerships grounded in our branding and communications toolkit.
• Produce regular reports on fundraising activity for the Executive Team and Board, analysing performance against targets, and identifying areas for improvement and growth.
• Develop and deliver effective stewardship journeys and ensuring they are tracked and implemented across High Value giving.
• Contribute to the delivery of effective and efficient governance structures to support Our Future Health’s strategic partnerships, where required.
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to enhance team performance and collaboration.

Requirements:

As a committed, motivated, and outgoing individual, you will support sexual health education and prevention as part of the Integrated Sexual health Service (ISHS) in Hertfordshire. You will provide interventions in sexual health in outreach locations across the county. Sexual health sessions will take place in groups as well as in a 1:1 capacity, and will require you to focus on providing information about sexual health to those who are vulnerable or at risk, encouraging service users to complete a chlamydia and gonorrhoea screen, and register to the free condom scheme.
