Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) are a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to bring struggling children hope and a future. In this role we are looking for an individual that thrives working with children and young people in a school context and is passionate about supporting pupils and their families struggling with emotional, relational, and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will be a qualified counsellor with an aptitude for creativity whether this is music and drama, sport and outdoor recreation or other fields of kinaesthetic development. The TLG Therapeutic Counsellor will be present each week in the school, providing specialist trauma aware care for these children, whilst supporting staff and parents/carers too, so we're looking for an individual who can build and foster strong relationships.

We have a newly created opportunity for a Governance Administrator to join the team here at RBL.  

Reporting to our Head of Governance, this role will see you responsible for providing top level administrative and organisational support to our busy Governance team, ensuring the smooth day to day running of corporate governance for our organisation.

In this fast paced role, you will manage the Corporate Calendar and support the team and Chief of Staff with diary management, travel arrangements and administration tasks. You will assist in providing support for RBLs annual election officer cycle and Annual Conference, complete statutory filing of regulatory governance returns and provide support to our Trustees.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Annually produce the corporate calendar (in conjunction with the Governance Manager) including all meetings of the Board of Trustees, its Committees, the Executive Board and Subsidiary Boards
- Identify and book appropriate virtual and physical venues for meetings, ensuring adequate resources / equipment / catering etc are arranged
- Manage the diary and travel arrangements for the Chief of Staff and Trustees
- Provide cover in taking formal minutes at Trustee committee meetings
- Continue the development and maintenance of the system for managing the personal data of the Board of Trustees and other governance volunteers
- Assist the governance team in the run up to and during the RBL Annual Conference regarding requests for printing, meeting bookings, creating PPT slides, and other administrative tasks

About the role

Working at a strategic level, you will have overall responsibility for identifying and securing the income streams to support the activity of this newly formed organisation (merger of 3 local Citizens Advice offices), working the Chief Executive and other members of the management team. The West London Service Delivery Executive will play a key part in the Service Delivery Team across London supporting with the smooth running of our service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients, volunteers and visitors. • Collaborate with senior directors and internal teams to secure approvals and budgets for bids.

You will be based across two locations, one which is a residential project, providing accommodation to homeless families with support needs including expectant mothers, mothers with up to two children under the age of 10, or single women aiming to have guardianship of their children. The other service provides temporary accommodation to single homeless males who have various support needs which could include mental health, substance misuse, and offending history.

You will be based across both services, providing overall leadership and management of your service projects and teams who deliver high quality, trauma informed support to residents. Your role will ensure full contract and regulatory compliance, being a role model and leader for your team to achieve service KPI's and other requirements for the service.
