As a Content Producer (Stories), you'll be pivotal in sourcing, capturing, and crafting impactful stories, highlighting the transformative impact Church Army has across the UK and Ireland.

You'll travel to various Church Army projects and Centres of Mission, collaborating with the Communications and Fundraising teams, including the Content Producer (Video), Copywriter, and Social Media Officer. You'll also work closely with the Brand and Content Lead to ensure our stories align with Church Army’s values and messaging.

Main Responsibilities

• Travelling to Church Army’s key projects and centres of Mission across the UK & Ireland to gather stories and insights from people we serve, volunteers, and staff.
• Creating content in the form of writing compelling stories that effectively communicate the impact of Church Army’s work.
• Collaborating and coordinating with the Content Producer (Video) and Copywriter to ensure a cohesive narrative across different content formats and media.
• Working with the Brand and Content Lead to align story content with Church Army’s brand guidelines and strategic messaging

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Awareness of the social impact sector, particularly within the context of Christian-based organisations.
• Proven experience in content creation, particularly in writing and storytelling.
• Experience of conducting interviews and gathering firsthand stories displaying strong interviewing skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Previous experience in adapting content for various platforms, including social media.

About the role:

This role is co-located within Charing Cross Hospital 4 days per week and 1 day per week at our office near Old Street. As an IDVA you will:

• implement effective ways of working with victims to increase safety & reduce harm
• provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse
• work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse
• run group training sessions & share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital

Into Film is the UK’s leading charity for film in education and the community. Role Summary

The main function of the bookings team is to provide high quality customer service for the Into Film Festival. Initially this will be receiving calls, processing bookings and liaising with educators on email and on the phone. There will then be a need to make outbound calls to drive bookings, speak to attending teachers and liaise with cinemas to ensure the festival runs smoothly. This is an exciting, front-line, varied role requiring high level communication skills and a solution-focused attitude. • To be the first point of contact for public festival enquiries; answering calls, processing bookings and problem-solving.

• Updating the daily incident log (via Excel) - this is used for tracking all enquiries/issues from cinemas. 
• Liaising with exhibitors as and when required and as directed.
• General support in relation to all aspects concerning the festival.

Scripture Union is passionate about seeing a new generation of children and young people have a vibrant, personal faith in Jesus. We are seeking a dynamic and organised Support Worker to work in partnership with key staff across the Movement. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the smooth running of day to day operations of the Central team.

The successful candidate will:

· Act as first point of contact for team enquiries.

· Build relationships and communicate well with Faith Guides, Local Mission Partners and volunteers.

· Book venues (e.g. churches) and oversee administration for events in the region.

Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator on a bank working basis to work across the North region. Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the North region, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the region including some overnight stays.

This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed.

Role Overview: 

Reporting to the Management Accountant, the Finance Assistant will support the Finance Team, providing financial and administrative services for our business. The Finance team sits within our Central Services division. 

Central Services ensures the company operates smoothly and assists in working towards Enables strategic direction. Supporting the various services that make up Enable, Central Services consists of small and high output teams including Human Resources, Marcomms, Operations and Finance. We are looking for an enthusiastic people person with great communications and organisational skills to help recruit and coordinate our talented volunteers. You will help take ANT to our next level of impact by leveraging volunteers to deliver tree planting and tree care activities across our woodland sites. Your role will support volunteer activities across Avon Needs Trees, but with a focus on our two largest sites: Great Avon Wood and Lower Chew Forest.

You will join a fast-growing organisation that started in 2019 with four volunteers and has grown to a staff team of nineteen (with more recruitment in the pipeline for 2024), over 1,000 volunteers and ownership of nearly 600 acres of land that will grow woodlands of over 160,000 trees.

Your legacy will be a tangible impact on slowing down climate change, helping nature recover and creating social impact by developing funding relationships that support our woodland projects and organisational development more broadly.

Main responsibilities

• Lead on the coordination of our volunteer leaders and volunteers to ensure we can deliver our volunteer tree planting, tree care days, and other activities, for example outreach volunteering or fundraising volunteering. Volunteer coordination includes:
  • Managing volunteer leader rotas and calendars
  • Ensuring all volunteers are provided with timely, accurate and clear logistical information ahead of volunteer days
  • Responding to volunteer and volunteer leader enquiries in a timely manner
  • Putting in place suitable contingency plans in the case of a volunteer leader having to pull out of a commitment
  • Administering our volunteer management system
• Work with the Chew Valley Project Team and the Engagement, Communications & Fundraising team to recruit new volunteers and volunteer leaders, and ensure the ongoing engagement of our current recruits. This includes:
  • Communications focused on volunteer recruitment
  • Coordinating volunteers along the recruitment process
  • Ensuring our web and digital assets are accurate and up to date

Background
Evolve is a Cambridgeshire-based charity (a CIO), founded in 1978, which provides affordable mental health counselling to adults in Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties. We deliver talking therapies to adults – online and in person. The Evolve counselling community is made up of around 50 qualified practitioners working part-time at donated or subsidised rates. Our service delivers around 500 counselling sessions per month to a broad range of individuals, many of whom would not otherwise be able to access counselling support. Evolve also provides supervision, reflective practice, critical incident support and mental health awareness and related training to organisations.

Main purpose of the job
The Head of Counselling works with our counsellor members and executive team to ensure that Evolve is the local counselling charity of choice - managing existing client relationships and service contracts, as well as seeking and securing new business. They are responsible for the clinical leadership of our counselling and related services to clients, and for supporting, motivating, and managing our counsellor members.

About the candidate
The successful candidate will be an appropriately qualified and experienced individual who has leadership expertise, with the ability to engage with colleagues, trustees, counselling clients, organisational contacts and other stakeholders. They will have demonstrable experience of delivering a high-quality service in line with ethical standards and good practice, monitoring and evaluating impact and outcomes, as well as identifying and implementing, alongside other members of the executive team, service development/improvement and growth initiatives. They should also have a good understanding of the commercial considerations of managing a counselling service, and have experience of successful funding proposal/ bid writing and delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Management

• Overall responsibility for incoming referrals and allocations as well as ongoing management of clients and any waiting lists.
• Monitor the balance between counsellor capacity and client demand. 
• Provide leadership and support to the counselling members.
• Be the first point of contact for clinical advice and enquiries.
• Ensure the quality of provision to clients and the care of counsellors.
• Lead on revising, updating of existing, and writing of new, clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with charity standards as well as ethical and legal standards.
• Liaise with the CEO as Designated Safeguarding Lead, taking responsibility as the Counselling Safeguarding Lead. This includes ensuring that Evolve adheres to local and national guidelines for safeguarding and that issues relating to client risk are appropriately dealt with.
• Oversee counselling members’ health and safety including lone working and risk assessment.
• Manage and respond to complaints in line with Evolve’s procedures.
• Monitor, implement and ensure clinical service compliance with GDPR standards.
• Report on clinical service performance and attend Trustee Board meetings as required.

Training and development

• Ensure that all counsellors have the appropriate training, experience, and specialist knowledge required to support Evolve clients, including identifying training and development needs.

Recruitment

• Lead the recruitment of new counsellors, including interviewing potential new members as well as clinical induction and training of new counsellors.
• Oversee the annual membership renewal process, ensuring all members are compliant with Evolve requirements.

Monitoring and impact analysis

• Take responsibility for client feedback, ensuring comments are reviewed and acted on as appropriate.
• Compile reports and impact analysis as required, for internal and external stakeholders.

Business Development and General requirements

• Work alongside the CEO and executive team to represent Evolve and promote awareness of Evolve’s services along with the importance of mental health awareness and support. Provide clinical and commercial input to funding proposals and/or new service developments.
• Participate in Evolve’s committees, support work with the Trustee Board, and through events for the membership, to shape the future development growth and sustainability of Evolve Counselling CIO.
• Build and maintain effective external professional networks within Evolve’s operational areas.
• Work closely with the Administrator to ensure all data regarding members and clients is up to date, appropriately recorded and in line with Data Protection guidelines.
• Provide input to Evolve’s website and social media presence and other marketing channels, suggesting and writing content for posts and resources as required.
• Ensure effective partnership working with those charities and other organisations with whom Evolve collaborates.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education, Qualification and Training

• Degree level or minimum level 4 Diploma qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
