This exciting HR Administrator role will support the team by being the first point of contact for HR and payroll queries, running our recruitment and onboarding processes and managing the administration of the employee life cycle.
What does the role involve?
- Act as first point of contact for general enquiries to the HR Team, including managing the HR related mailboxes.
- Collating and processing HR related data and producing reports where required.
- Administer and maintain the Foundation’s HR information system, liaising with the system provider and with managers and staff to ensure accurate use and maximum benefit.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
- Recent experience of successfully working in an office administrative role, efficiently managing multiple processes.
- Evidenced strong IT Skills, including extensive knowledge of spreadsheets, databases & relevant software.
- Ability to work efficiently, effectively, proactively and consistently producing high quality, accurate and clear outputs, in a timely manner.

About You
The successful candidate will be employed by the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s host organisation, The Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts. The new team member will be pivotal in the delivery of the Peatland Programme’s objectives to champion peatland values. They will have the level of knowledge and experience to drive forward and promote peatland restoration in the UK and be able to advocate the multiple benefits of peatlands through partnerships, strong science, sound policy and effective practice, and communication.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Communications and Engagement Lead to drive and deliver the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s communications activity to promote the benefits of healthy peatlands to a national audience. This will be done primarily through establishing and maintaining good relationships with external contacts and partners and using these networks to identify opportunities and to build the Programme’s reach. You will lead the production of communications materials through design and appropriate messaging, assist their advocacy work, and plan and deliver events such as online workshops and their annual conference.
They are looking for someone who is passionate about communicating peatlands to a wide audience and is creative and proactive in their approach. The peatland agenda has expanded exponentially over the last 10 years and you will need to be an excellent team player and networker to capture what is happening and communicate this to multiple partners and stakeholders. The Communications and Engagement Lead post is a standalone communications post within a small team (9 people) and your ability to quickly develop good relationships with partner organisations will be critical to your success in the role.
You will be lead on the delivery of the communications strand of the Peatland Programme’s activity. You should have experience of designing publications, creating digital content, newsletters, running stakeholder events and managing social media accounts. You will support the wider Peatland Programme team in networking, identifying opportunities for collaboration, as well as in the production of resources such as briefings and web content.

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm. IDVAs work with their customers from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim.

The service supports 15 women with/out children in self contained units. The aim of the service is to support women to rebuild their lives following a period of abuse, preparing them to move on within a 6-month period to an accommodation type of their choice either in or out of borough.
We are looking to recruit a part time, enthusiastic and energetic customer focused support worker to join our service and dynamic team. Support workers deliver support along side the in house Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to address the safety of victims, survivors at high risk of harm and to equip women with the tools to move on within the allocated period.
The role requires some flexibility as the post holder will work shifts on 20 hours shared rota which includes weekend's shifts and out of hours on call rota.

What you'll do:
Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the service Manager
To empower and support women and children in the refuge to keep safe and move on successfully with their lives

Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
Provide practical assistance to support customers to work towards the goals in their support plan (e.g. supporting benefits applications, attending medical appointments and appointments with external agencies
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community
Liaise with external agencies such as the Police, MARAC, Social Services and GPs
Help customers to integrate into their local area and access local educational, social, wellbeing and community activities, resources and opportunities
Monitor rent account, encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and to ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively in conjunction with the Housing Management team
Manage customer referrals, completing Dash Risk Assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork

Learning and development
- To respond to training requests and co-ordinate installation and ongoing face-to-face training by liaising with Lifelites Champions, Lifelites Trainer and Head of Services to book dates and prepare training itineraries.
- To co-ordinate Lifelites Super User events including venue bookings, scheduling and training providers.
- To capture and monitor training feedback and prepare briefings for Head of Services and Trainer.
- To support the development and implementation of Lifelites e-learning platform, including course modules, interactive learning and activity ideas.
Partner engagement
- To support ongoing quality improvement by delivering regular account calls, responding to queries and maintaining up to date contact information for Lifelites Champions and other key stakeholders.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Enhance Support Worker to join our RBKC Heaney Cluster Service service in Ladbroke Grove.

The Heaney Cluster an intensively supported housing scheme for the most challenging customers in the borough. The majority of the customers come with a history of entrenched rough sleeping; often coupled with enduring mental health difficulties. The aim is to offer a home to those who would have difficulty finding accommodation because of their lifestyle choices involving extreme drug and alcohol misuse. The high support hostel caters for eleven service users with complex needs and is staffed 24 hours a day with the minimum of three staff on duty. The medium support services are staffed from 9am to 9pm where the customers present with varying degrees of mental health issues.
Enhanced Support Workers will devise person centered support plans with customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet their needs and goals. This will include sign posting them to the local drug and alcohol services to address substance misuse issues. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Children's Support Worker to join our Homelessness service in Tower Hamlets.

To offer practical and emotional support to children and young people aged 0-16 years, who are living with the effects of Domestic Abuse and Violence, and overcoming the traumatic impact on their lives. The support is offered during their time in the refuge, through the transition from refuge to their new home and ongoing support in the community. Support is also offered to children who live in the wider community who access the service independently. To liaise and work together with all other agencies involved with the families, in order to meet their ongoing needs appropriately and effectively. The post is restricted to females only due to the nature of the role. The occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (Part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

What you'll do:
* To ensure that the needs of children and young people in the refuge are assessed as part of admission and the duration of their stay
* To plan and implement a programme of therapeutic and recreational activities for children and young people living both at the refuge and in the community, as well as play-work and activity trips * To provide individual, age appropriate key working sessions for children of all ages. With a focus on safeguarding, including risk and safety planning, emotional & physical health & wellbeing, education and social & family networks
* To encourage and support mothers to build loving and consistent relationships with their children * To work in partnership with all agencies in relation to safeguarding children following both local and national approaches around Early Help Assessments, CIN, TAF and Child Protection Protocols
* To act as the Lead Practitioner in early help assessments and using early help principles to develop support plans for sub-threshold families, ensuring effective multi-agency involvement.
* To write and contribute to the completion of Reports for Courts and Children's Social Care Conferences and meetings regarding the families, when required.
