With the creation of a new Facilities Admin Management team within our Property Development team in our Retail directorate we are recruiting for an administrator to support the facilities management team to deliver a broad variety of activities for our retail shop and stores estate of c700 locations.
It is important that we keep our retail estate trading effectively as interruption caused by maintenance issues prevents us from raising valuable income that goes directly into research to prevent heart and circulatory diseases. Therefore, we must proactively and diligently review performance and continually improve our services.
As a Facilities Administration Assistant you'll deliver a high level of admin support to the Facilities Administration Team Leader, Facilities Manager and Senior Facilities Manager to enable them to carry out their roles effectively across the BHF Retail estate.
This will include various admin tasks such as
- raising reactive and planned works orders on the property management system
- record keeping via spreadsheets/database
- liaising with all stakeholders and external contractors as required
- ensuring any H&S issues are resolved as quickly as possible to maximise BAU trading
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our Northampton Office.

About you
With excellent administration skills you will provide multi-disciplinary administrative support to the Facilities Administration Team Leader, Facilities Manager and Senior Facilities Manager to enable them to carry out their roles effectively as possible.
We are looking for someone who is highly efficient with excellent time management skills. You'll have excellent IT skills and will have working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.

In this role, you will ensure the latest MND research information is shared effectively across our internal teams and with external audiences. You'll support key projects, including managing our MND Research Blog, producing newsletters, and updating our website to keep research content current and engaging.

Baca is looking for a Support Worker who can join the support team and provide support, care and be a role model for young people who are newly arrived refugees and victims of trafficking aged 16 to 18. Well House is a crisis house supported accommodation service that supports individuals for between 14 and 28 days as an alternative to requiring hospital admission for their mental health needs. The service works closely in partnership with a multi-disciplinary team in order to meet individual needs, manage risk and support individuals to achieve positive outcomes. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure members of the local community are able to access critical mental health support at all hours. The service receives referrals primarily from a local hospital emergency department and crisis lines, and may receive these referrals at anytime of day or night.

Part 1: Role Purpose:
We are seeking an outstanding Programmes Officer for an exciting opportunity to support Street Child’s programme portfolio in Sierra Leone. The key objectives of this role are to work closely with Street Child’s national partner to support the effective implementation of adaptive programming, and to support accurate and timely donor reporting across a range of institutional, trust & foundations, and corporate donors. The ideal candidate will have strong written and excel skills, with experience of MEAL and financial management processes, and a strong preference for German language skills and experience of working with Bengo funding. The role will include regular, detailed interaction with Street Child’s UK and European fundraising community, in support of donor reporting and future funding opportunities
The role holder will work in close collaboration with Street Child’s regional Head of Programmes, based in Freetown, as well as partner Programmes, MEAL and Finance teams to coordinate timely and quality implementation and reporting across the programmes portfolio.
Part 2: Key Responsibilities:
1) Reporting & Programme Funding Engagement – 35%
- Review narrative and financial quarterly reporting from country teams and provide feedback.
- Lead on the consolidation of narrative reporting (low-mid value donors) for a variety of donors within the portfolio.

About the role
We are excited to be advertising this newly created role as part of WGN’s growth. This role will be the lead on the finance function. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation including executive leadership, with a specific focus on working closely with the Director and external auditors. The role will have two direct reports – Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role and will have full responsibility for the finance function on a day to day and medium-term basis. In partnership with Gateshead Council, Sustrans is opening an Active Travel Hub at Birtley Library. This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans and support people in Gateshead to walk, cycle, and wheel, by providing practical, impactful support.
As the Project Delivery Officer, you will coordinate and deliver a programme of work tailored around overcoming identified barriers to active and sustainable travel modes, including a series of practical engagement activities, with the support of 2 Project Support Officers and a network of volunteers.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with diverse groups and people within our partner organisations. Additionally, you will ensure monitoring and reporting tasks are carried out, with particular respect to partner and funder requirements.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

About you
You should have experience delivering behaviour change projects and/or activities, and delivering projects in a community setting with a range of partners. Experience working in public-facing roles and with volunteers is key – this role will be responsible for recruiting, managing, and developing Sustrans volunteers, in collaboration with the Project Coordinator and Sustrans volunteer programme staff. You should have some experience of managing budgets, producing reports, and carrying out monitoring activities.
