Job Purpose
The Hartlepool Full-Time and Part-Time Tutor posts are an exciting role with Tutor Trust. You will plan and deliver tuition to primary/secondary school-aged pupils (from 9-16 years old) across Hartlepool in Maths and English on a 1:4 ratio and complete appropriate paperwork relating to tuition with pupils (register, feedback sheets, etc.) You will liaise with the Strategic Partnership Manager, Hartlepool Programme Coordinator and the quality team. You will also support other tutors as appropriate and be involved in Tutor Trust tutorials and training where required.

Main Functions
- To plan and deliver tuition to primary/secondary school aged pupils (from 9-16 years old) across Hartlepool in maths and English on a 1:1 to 1:4 ratio.
· To complete appropriate paperwork relating to tuition with pupil (register, feedback sheets, etc.)
· To liaise with the Strategic Partnerships Manager, Hartlepool Programme Coordinator and the Quality Team.
· To undergo any appropriate training throughout the role to enhance the quality and impact of tutoring delivery.
· To support other tutors as appropriate.
· To be involved in Tutor Trust tutorials and training where required.
· Any other duties commensurate with the grade and nature of the post
Person Specification
Good candidates for this role will be high achievers, with excellent IT and English skills, diplomatic and inter-personal skills, and plenty of initiative.
Skills
· One year of experience of working with children and young people in an educational environment required or QTS.
· Ability to tutor maths and English to a standard desirable.
· Must have achieved a minimum of Grade B/6 at GCSE in Maths and English.
· Understanding of the National Curriculum, GCSE syllabus and have a broad understanding of policy issues and educational best practice relating to improving pupil achievement at Key Stage 2 (and ideally at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4).
· The ability to work with children from complex backgrounds and with complex needs.

About the role
As a Family Support Supervisor, you will play a key role in creating a space where people experiencing the trauma of someone going missing can be supported throughout their experience in a calm, insightful and consistent manner. You will proactively support family members during challenging experiences. You will provide high quality support to families; the approach to support will be based on an assessment of needs and the length of their missing incident / experience. The support is both practical and emotional in nature and can involve advice and advocacy so people can access the right service and support for them.
About you
You will need:
• experience of work on a helpline, crisis or advice service either as a volunteer or a paid worker and/or advice or support work with children, vulnerable adults and/or families;
• experience of casework, managing an active caseload with varying needs regarding frequency and level of support
• excellent communication skills;
• the ability to maintain a calm and considered approach, to evaluate situations objectively, consult effectively and give appropriate advice and guidance;
• strong IT skills including databases and data entry and the ability to learn new systems quickly including learning to operate a digital 1-2-1 chat platform.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This exciting role will support on the delivery of income from a range of high-value donors within our philanthropy and corporate income streams. The Head of Programme will work with colleagues in the ACU’s External Affairs, People and Culture, Finance, Programmes and International Mobility teams and will lead the dedicated ACU Programme team of three ACU staff, four senior assessors and 24 assessors to deliver the assessment and appeals processes and related assessment boards helping ensure delivery of the programme’s policy objectives.
The role will report to the Head of Programmes and International Mobility and provide regular updates for the ACU Leadership Team and our partners.

Job Purpose
The Hartlepool Programme Coordinator post is an exciting role with Tutor Trust.
You will assist the Partnership Operations team by liaising with local schools and organising tuition within the Hartlepool area. This will include attending meetings both face to face and online, coordinating tuition sessions and arranging tutor cover etc. You will also support the tutor recruitment and training process in Hartlepool and help to ensure that it runs smoothly. Main Functions
