Key Responsibilities:
As a Community Fundraising Marketing Officer, you will:
- Develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns (social media, email, digital ads, print, events) to attract and retain community fundraising efforts.
- Create and implement marketing and content, cross collaborating with the wider teams to ensure alignment with fundraising objectives.
- Monitor and analyse fundraising recruitment, income, and expenditure to streamline performance and ensure a strong return on investment.

Youth Futures Foundation is the national What Works Centre for youth employment, with a specific focus on marginalised young people.
We find and generate high-quality evidence to better understand England’s’ youth unemployment and inactivity challenge, and most importantly to learn what solutions work to address this. We are looking for a dynamic Research Officer to support the creation and collation of research and evidence that has a transformative effect on the youth employment ecosystem.
You will work with the Research Managers and other members of the Impact and Evidence team to:
- support the design, delivery and management of commissioned and in-house research projects striving to understand the complex, systemic issues faced by marginalised young people in their employment journey, as well as potential solutions.
- This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with young people on research projects. A part of the role will also be working with other teams, such as policy and communications, to translate complex research and evaluation findings into accessible, user-centred outputs and briefings for internal and external use.
We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

As our new Policy & Public Affairs Officer, you will play a key role in tracking policy developments, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting NYA’s public affairs work. You will help ensure that youth work is recognised at all levels of decision-making by producing compelling briefings, monitoring political activities, and supporting strategic events.
This role works within our Policy, Insights, and External Affairs Directorate, reporting directly to the Policy & Public Affairs Manager. Your work in this role will directly contribute to NYA’s mission to champion high-quality youth work across England.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and monitor policy developments, parliamentary activity, and government announcements to inform NYA’s advocacy efforts.
- Develop policy briefings, reports, consultation responses, and stakeholder communications to support NYA’s policy and public affairs work.
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, public affairs contacts, and key stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and engagement.

- Strong time-management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with project management tools.

The Director of Commercial has responsibilities for setting the strategic direction of our commercial activities, developing new products and services to enable growth, and ensuring that our plans and activities are aligned with our charitable purpose and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities
Understanding needs and the changing external environment
- Develop understanding of the preferences and needs of statisticians and data professionals, and others interested in data and statistics, at an individual and organisational level, to evolve our products and services and align our commercial activities to those preferences and needs

Conferences and events
- Oversee the development and operation of the RSS conferences and events programme
- Lead the conference and events team in the delivery of RSS conferences and events.
Interfaces with other teams and groups
- Convene and lead cross-RSS groups to develop, share and review plans and activities and identify opportunities for synergy and collaboration

Working for the RSS
Pension and benefits
Our defined contribution pension scheme can be joined after three months in post. Your contributions of up to 8% of salary will be double matched by the Society (making a maximum contribution by the Society of 16%). A training budget, season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme and employee assistance programme are also available.
Location
The RSS office is in central London. We offer flexible working arrangements, and this is a hybrid role with on average two days a week working in the office. In person attendance for certain meetings is required (including all staff/team meetings and governance/committee meetings that take place in person). Limited travel within the UK and internationally may be required.

2) Purpose of the role

About the role
Here for You is Breast Cancer Now’s personalised referral route to all our services.
This new role is responsible for the management and development of the Here for You’s geographical expansion. This includes managing a small team which works to integrate our referral route into NHS Trusts and may include managing additional support officers in future.
We’re currently working with over 60 NHS Trusts in England but have ambitious plans to become UK-wide. Supporting the senior manager, personalised referrals, the post is responsible for targeting areas of high deprivation and high breast cancer incident rates. There’s significant internal and external collaboration and networking to ensure our services are offered to people diagnosed with breast cancer. This will involve contributing to cross-departmental meetings, working with NHS Trusts and cancer alliances and guiding the team to deliver excellent information and support.
About you
We’re looking for an enthusiastic person with strong team leadership skills, who has experience of working in a fast-paced, people-facing environment. The right candidate will be passionate about reaching more people with breast cancer by working closely with the NHS and healthcare providers. We’re looking for someone who can develop and manage a growing team, has excellent presentation skills and is willing to adapt and innovate. You’ll be a team player who understands the importance of co-production and thrives on motivating others through excellent interpersonal skills.
You’ll bring excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll be ambitious, organised and thrive on creating an inclusive work environment and working across multiple teams.

Primary location of role and hybrid working
This role can be based in either our London or Sheffield office. Our hybrid working model allows you to work up to 3 days per week at home.
