Responsibilities of our Data Analyst:
- Delivery of actionable and highly effective supporter analysis, reports, dashboards and statistical models to inform the evidence-based decision making of the Marketing and Income Generation directorate.
- Support departmental strategies and plans by analysing campaign effectiveness and providing a clear understanding of our audiences to optimise supporter journeys, improve targeting and drive engagement.

- The Data & Analytics team are a department in the Marketing & Income Generation directorate consisting of three sub-teams : data processing, data selections and data analytics.
- The Analytics sub-team focuses specifically on reporting, post-campaign analysis and deep-dive analysis projects
- We are a small team of 3 analysts, all working remotely

- Significant database marketing experience with use and manipulation of data structures with a relational database management system
- Significant data analysis and interpretation experience identifying key trends

About the Role
To work as part of a team that delivers an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported or community-based accommodation. Our work is underpinned by the Depaul Endeavour model of assets-based, psychologically informed delivery. The aim of this is to ensure that every client leaves a Depaul service with the skills and resilience to be confident and self-determining in their lives.
Working under the direction, guidance and support of a manager/senior worker you will be responsible for managing the building to ensure that the accommodation provided to the clients is safe and secure through the provision of overnight concierge service, security and door control. This includes controlling access to buildings, being the first point of contact for all emergencies and carrying out Health and Safety checks and cleaning.
Key responsibilities include:
- You will always ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients in the service possible including using Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.
- You will provide a basic first contact advice response and security service at night to clients living in the property and/or in dispersed accommodation linked to the service
- You will be the first point of contact for visitors, contractors or services visiting the building at night
- You will be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety standards on the premises and a point of information for clients regarding Health and Safety at night
- You will actively ensure the security of the building through regular checks, and monitoring.
About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
- An understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use or care leavers.
- Experience in managing the overnight safety of vulnerable clients preferably in supported housing.
- Good written and spoken communication skills to ensure the accurate handover of information both verbally and in writing between shifts.
- Experience in undertaking basic maintenance and/or delivering cleaning services.
- Commitment to promoting an environment, which has the highest regard for the Health and Safety of others.
- Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and procedures.

About the role:
The European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) was established in 2000 and is a not-for-profit speciality college that oversees the training, examination and completion/maintenance of credential requirements of veterinarians who are equine internal medicine specialists, referred to as ECEIM Diplomates. Currently the college is run by a team of dedicated trustees and are eager to take the next step and create capacity for growth.
This is a brand new role and in which you will have the opportunity to shape and develop what a successful Chief Operating Officer looks like for this exciting and far reaching college. Your role will be to enable ECEIM to operate more effectively in order to facilitate the College’s growth, working with the board members to understand their vision, and work to enhance, develop and support on existing key processes and procedures that help the college to run effectively. This role will ultimately support ECEIM’s mission and key objectives to advance equine internal medicine in Europe and increase the competency of those who practice in this field.
Whilst this role has an exciting future focus, a key part of your remit will be to oversee the day-to-day running of the college and help ensure everything is working well, keeping abreast of important deadlines such as key governance and compliance or liaising with external partner firms to ensure that they deliver key events on ECEIM’s behalf.
While much of your role may be administrative or operational in nature at first, there is also great scope to input into the colleges longer term strategic direction, all of which is leading to sustainable growth and increasing the impact of what ECEIM have set out to do.
About you:
You’ll bring both a practical and solutions based mindset as well as the ability to see the bigger picture in order to facilitate ECEIM’s longer term strategy. As this is a brand new role you will need to feel confident in the listening and learning phase as well as being able to see the improvements, recommend developments and create any next steps needed to support the ECEIM board and ultimately get the role off the ground.
You will have the chance to utilise your experience in both big picture thinking, as well as your ability to design and develop processes and ways of working that will help ECEIM to take the next steps.
Using your excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills you’ll be able to foster positive relationships with volunteers, members and other professional bodies, including working directly with ECEIM’s key committees, helping them stay connected, informed and working as best as they can.
You will also bring a strong financial awareness and both ‘know how’ to action financial processes, working with the treasurer, but also to be able to spot when specialist skills may be needed to support you. Experience with data analysis and reporting is essential.
Whilst it is advantageous for you to have held a similar role before, a background in project or programme management, leading a department, operations management or financial management could bring the blend of key skills that will help you be successful in this role.
An understanding of academia and the importance of professionalism, credentials and high level qualifications is helpful and while an understanding the importance of ECEIM’s mission and animal welfare is essential, you don't need to have necessarily had any experience in the animal welfare sector.
What we can offer you:
Salary: circa £30,000 to £32,000 per annum, actual (circa £56,000 to £60,000 FTE). This would be reviewed on an annual basis.
Location: Remote role, working from home. UK based.
Hours of work: Your contracted hours are 20 hours per week. Exact working pattern can be discussed with the successful candidate. With a role at this level you may be expected to be flexible with that pattern at times, and as ECEIM’s remit is across Europe and beyond, you may also have the opportunity to travel with the role.
Pension: ECEIM will provide a pension contribution of 3% of salary; the employee will contribute a minimum of 5% of salary.
Holiday: 28 days annual leave FTE pro rata, so 15 days for 20 hours per week; plus Bank Holidays.
Probation: The role is subject to a 6 months’ probationary period.
About ECEIM
The European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) is a not-for-profit speciality college that oversees the training, examination and completion/maintenance of credential requirements of veterinarians who are equine internal medicine specialists.
The ECEIM was established in 2000 and in 2010 became a fully recognised member of the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS), a regulatory Board of all European veterinary specialty colleges. The Role
Key Responsibilities
- To support the charity in the development of a climate action strategy
- Develop and oversee Islamic Help’s climate change advocacy campaigns and projects.
- Liaise with relevant UN Agencies, attending forums, submitting reports and ensuring Islamic Help is represented on relevant wider coordination platforms.
- Work in consultation with the Director of International Programmes & Partnerships and various sustainability experts, to assist with the development of the Children’s Eco Village programme in Tanzania including site management, child-focused programmes, budgeting and fundraising.
- To identify individual programmes and priorities for children in the Eco Village for their development as well as environmental projects for the general development of the Children’s Eco Village
- To develop fundraising strategies in consultation with the team for the Children’s Eco Village as well as the projects within it
- Assist Islamic Help’s offices worldwide with materials and resources including sustainable practices as well as progress reports on ongoing projects and feedback on completed projects.
- Develop a climate action volunteering programme to get more people involved in Islamic Help’s environmental projects as well as campaigning and advocacy.
- To identify funding opportunities, locally, nationally and internationally that will contribute to the development of Islamic Help’s climate strategy including corporate and institutional markets.
- To develop Islamic Help’s environmental policy and lead on implementation of green and sustainable initiatives for the HQ and international offices

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for two Heads of Service to join our organisation! There are two positions to be filled one with a special focus on Criminal Justice Services and the other with a focus on Homelessness and complex needs including mental health.
You will be responsible for providing positive and inspirational leadership across services to create positive communities, empowerment to individuals, and ensure psychologically informed environments! You will be responsible for ensuring services maintain the highest standards of service delivery, quality, performance and improvements. You will have the overall responsibility to ensure services are adhering to regulatory compliance as provided by commissioners, SIG, and all relevant stakeholders.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, with some Hybrid working as well as being based at Central Office, and making regular service visits. You will also take part of our out of office on call duty.

Head of Homelessness and Complex Needs
- Previous experience and knowledge working within homelessness and/or mental health services with a thorough understanding of the needs of the residents/participants in which we support

- Experience of leading teams that deliver complex and high-risk services
- Experience of working closely with commissioners
- Experience of contract management and monitoring contractual performance
- Budget Management experience and/or willingness to learn financial management
- Previous experience in line management and development
- IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
People Leadership
- Provide high quality support, leadership, and line management to staff, offering guidance, support, and advice to the team to support them to perform to the best of their abilities.
- Provide leadership to employees throughout the employee life cycle. This includes but is not limited to;
Recruitment, onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, support and supervision, employee relations, performance, learning and development, staff wellbeing and support, grievances, sickness, disciplinaries, retention and other areas which fall within the employee lifecycle. - Ensure Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in best practice and policy is in place and being embedded across all services.
Operational Leadership
- Managerial and leadership oversight of the service area as agreed, ensuring delivery in line with Social Interest Group’s annual business plans, contractual requirements, and KPI’s, including making sure all legislative requirements and targets are being met.
- Support managers to create person centred, psychologically informed environments that deliver high quality services which are underpinned by our theory of change.
- Responsible for regular review of operational dashboards and monitoring of performance and KPI’s, creating reports and submitting these to relevant stakeholders.
- Create, maintain, and communicate reports using various channels and data software to measure various metrics of performance, trends, and other relevant reporting criteria. Communicate this effectively to various stakeholders internally and externally.
Organisational Growth/Business Development/Relationship Management
- Support with sourcing, developing, and improving operational growth. This could include supporting the organisation with finding new opportunities, supporting with bid writing process, and implementation process of new services and other opportunities in the organisation.
- Support on commissioner negotiations to ensure contractual compliance is upheld between both parties, including negotiating pathways into services to mitigate reduced positive outcomes and associated financial loss.
- Lead on any mobilisations and implementation of new services in collaboration with all relevant departments across the business and deliver new services to budget requirements, in a timely manner.
Audit, Compliance, Risk
- Regularly undertake staff-assessment audits of services against key quality and risk standards, and ensure all actions and improvements are acted on within required timeframes.
- Ensure all services follow correct safeguarding and risk management protocols and procedures.
- Undertake fact finding and any external/internal investigations, ensuring they are in line with organisational policy, as well as associated formal hearings.
Financial Management
- Budget Management: Promote and manage effective cost control mechanisms, management of the overall budget for the given operational group, work collaboratively with other teams to set the service budgets, review monthly accounts, and ensure effective management of the areas budget and reporting.
- Lead on the annual review of contracts with commissioners and/or other relevant stakeholders internally and externally to ensure the service budgets are adequate to meet the needs of the contracts and any associated risk.
- Have overall oversight over the operational group, approve budget items and costs, ensure headcount is well managed and within budget, and make any adaptations if necessary.

About FareShare Midlands
FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. We take good-to-eat surplus food from the food industry and get it to our Members - frontline charities and community groups all over the Midlands. We turn an environmental problem into a social solution.
Last year we redistributed almost 5,794 tonnes of food from our warehouses in Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham. It is sorted and stored by our dedicated teams of staff and volunteers, and then redistributed to around 800 Members including food pantries and cafes, homeless shelters and drop-in centers. These local organisations turn the food into food parcels, affordable shopping and delicious meals for people of all ages. As well as food, our Members provide vital support to families and the elderly, many of whom are facing challenging circumstances and living in poverty.
Last year our food reached more than 83,000 vulnerable people every week, providing 13 million meals. At the same time, we are growing our Employability Programmes to help people gain work experience, skills and jobs.
Hunger is a growing issue in the UK and while there is surplus food that is otherwise going to waste, we believe that this food should be used to feed people first.
The Role
We are looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to make daily collections from our food partners and deliver to warehouses across the West and East Midlands. This role is most suited to individuals with an aptitude for driving, who have excellent customer service skills combined with a professional attitude as you will be dealing directly with our customers as a representative of FareShare Midlands.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work with the Supply Chain Team to collect surplus food from partners and deliver to the right regional centre.
- Provide excellent customer service to food partners in person and by phone, offering a highly professional impression of the charity in a friendly manner.
- Adhere to all laws and working time regulations.
- Support the Supply Chain Team by collecting stock offered from the food industry and delivering it to Regional Centres in a timely fashion, communicating ETAs and delays.
- Maintain records of collections and allocations e.g. provide paperwork and temperature readings to the Regional Centres on delivery.
