F6IT os an inclusive, family centric organisation for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs. We believe in the importance of participation, personal development and fulfilment, making friends and having fun alongside family and friends within their community. F6IT is also a strong, active advocate of disabilty, inclusion and language in local goverment and all parts of the community.

You will be joing a growing organisation and you will help build and drive forward the ambitious plans to deliver more support, fitness clubs and leisure activities to more children and young people with disabilties You will ensure that the needs of our Beneficiaries are at the heart of everything  F6IT does.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, fast learning intern to join our growing team at Human Appeal; helping us to research projects, review HR reports, and complete quality checks for our UK offices to identify the support needs of our staff.

Main tasks include:

• Provide generalist support for the entire recruitment cycle including but not limited to; interview bookings, JD/JP drafting, advertisements, longlisting, coordination with managers or candidates, reference checks, etc.
• Support HR L&D initiatives including orientations, trainings, workshops etc.
• Ensure proper HR file documentation and file management to audit standards.
• Conducting HR quality checks via routine spot checks and maintain HR trackers.
• Compiling HR exec summaries or reports.
• Undertaking research projects and supporting HR project implementation when requested.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills required:

• Ideally studying towards or completed a Bachelors degree, preferably in HR.
• A good understanding of humanitarian relief
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English
• Basic IT Skills (Excel, Outlook, Office 365, One drive, TEAMs)
• Ability to work well in a diverse virtual team
• Problem solving skills
• Cultural awareness and an understanding of HR

Autism Unlimited exists to support and empower autistic children, adults and their families. We partner with them to find solutions and provide educational and life skills training.

What will you be doing?

We seek trustees with experience in education or further education to join our board. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who will bring enthusiasm and commitment to the role and broaden the diversity of thinking on our board. 

Much has changed since our founders started the charity over 50 years ago. We have grown enormously, and we know that there is still much to do.

We recognise the challenges for children, adults and their families and will work with them as partners to find solutions and create opportunities through tailored learning and support.

It is thanks to the continued hard work and dedication of everybody involved in our charity, that we can deliver new opportunities for the children and adults we support.

Today, we employ over 400 people across the South of England, and our future plans include a programme of engagement with organisations to share the benefits of employing autistic people as well as expansion of our autism and SEN college, Futures.

We are looking for youth leaders and anti-racism activists to help us mentor the young people on our Activism Academy programme who are striving for racial justice across the UK. Our Activism Academy is a 6-month leadership development programme for young people interested in creating racial justice solutions.

You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to anti-racism or social justice through your past/current experience, either paid or voluntary.

As a volunteer, you would mentor 1 to 3 students for 13 weeks to help them plan and pilot a racial justice activism campaign of their creation.

Dates of commitment: February 2025 - May 2025 (exact schedule in application form)

Volunteer mentors must commit to:

• 4 x 40-minute online mentoring meetings with your mentee.
• Fill out post-session surveys and notes after each mentor session.
• Completing a 30-minute e-learning training to cover our safeguarding guidelines and how to support your mentees best.
• Provide ad-hoc support as and when your mentee needs it.
• Attend the final pitch event on the 10th of May 2025 (optional)

About the Role of Chair

The Pyramid is now seeking a new Chair of the Board, ideally an experienced trustee who can work with the Trustees and Chief Officer to guide the organisation’s strategy and development, ensuring its long-term sustainability. The Chair will oversee the organisational plan and work with the Chief Officer to ensure its effective delivery.

To be considered for this role, candidates should ideally have previous board or governance experience, strong communication and committee skills, a good understanding of the third sector—particularly SCIOs—and the ability to effectively manage the Board. Time Commitment Required
