About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the Fundraising & Engagement Team.
Acting as the first point of contact for all Fundraising & Comms enquiries and in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communications Strategy, this is a busy role and will require excellent stewardship and donor care skills as well as meticulous organisation and innovative thinking. As an Ambassador for Mind BLMK, you will need to have a passion for mental health and an ability to operate at all levels.
The successful applicant will generate income and support all aspects of communication and marketing, to help to maximise local support, raise awareness of our work in the community, and by providing exceptional supporter stewardship, in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communication strategy.
Key Duties
- Engage and support stewardship and donor care for Mind BLMK’s individual givers, corporates, groups, volunteers and other supporters of the charity, in line with the fundraising strategy.
- Send and engage with donors, appropriate information and materials to support their fundraising at Mind BLMK.
- Ensure supporter interaction points (telephone, post, email) adhere to the highest standard.
- Support fundraising and engagement in the development of new partnerships with corporates, organisations, and individuals, to support income growth.
- Support and engage with the fundraiser, donor through the customer journey.
- Work with the wider team at Mind BLMK and with our national partners at Mind.
- Contact by phone, email and meet supporters or potential supporters of Mind BLMK and communicate key messages and ensure their fundraising is promoted and celebrated across all social media channels.
- Support the implementation of marketing strategies and targeted campaigns; plan, develop, and ensure the production of multi-media communications, PR, and marketing materials.
- Support the data capture, monitoring of and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing, PR and publicity activities, making recommendations as required.
- Ensure the quality assurance for the implementation of Mind branding guidelines and specifications across the organisation; reviewing, monitoring, and advising as necessary to ensure corporate identity is maintained in line with Mind BLMK policies and procedures.
- Support the functions of the publication and distribution of press materials, news stories, and updates, both internally and externally.
- Support the maintenance of Mind BLMK’s websites, social media accounts, Mailchimp newsletters, and web administration profiles and content (including but not limited to - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In).

Role Summary:
As the Corporate Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for developing and managing a successful corporate fundraising strategy that maximises income from existing and new partnerships. Strategy and Planning
- Work closely with the Corporate, Community, and Events Fundraising Manager to develop and implement a sustainable Corporate Partnerships Strategy.
- Create short, medium, and long-term activity plans, budgets, and forecasts for corporate fundraising.
- Regularly review and refine the corporate partnership proposition to align with the charity’s mission and market trends.
Corporate Fundraising & Relationship Development
- Lead the development of new business engagement plans, identifying and cultivating new corporate prospects and relationships.
- Implement ambitious new business campaigns targeting priority industries, overseeing prospecting and marketing efforts.
- Manage the new business pipeline, ensuring effective prospect data management in the CRM system.
- Proactively network and attend relevant events to identify partnership opportunities and represent the charity.
- Develop and implement corporate base visits, events, and corporate engagement programmes at the charity's HQ.
Account Management
- Lead the account management of existing corporate partnerships, ensuring partners receive high-quality stewardship and service, with support from the Corporate, Community and Events Officer.
- Develop and implement a segmented stewardship programme that maximises donor retention and engagement.
- Work with the corporate partners to deliver impact reports and meet agreed KPIs.
- Provide high-quality written communications, pitches, and reports tailored to the needs of each partner.
- Create a tiered recognition programme for corporate partnerships, ensuring clear partner visibility and acknowledgment.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Support
- Work cross-organisationally to ensure other teams are aligned with corporate partnership initiatives and aware of their progress.
- Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing teams to promote events and corporate activities, ensuring consistent and impactful external communication.
Reporting and Evaluation
- Track, monitor, and report on corporate partnership performance, delivering monthly and ad hoc reports with analysis and insights to inform decision-making.
- Provide end-of-year reviews for multi-year partnerships, ensuring the effectiveness and impact of the relationships are clearly communicated.
- Ensure all corporate fundraising activities comply with fundraising and data protection regulations.
About You:
- Proven experience in corporate fundraising, business development, or corporate partnerships management.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience creating and delivering fundraising strategies, with a track record of securing five-figure partnerships.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, results-driven mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
- Experience with CRM systems like Donorfy.
- Fundraising qualifications or equivalent experience.

As a member of the senior leadership team, this post will work cross departmentally and will contribute to the overall strategy of Woman’s Trust, working closely with the CEO and the Board of Trustees. You will lead and line manage the Senior Trust and Foundation Manager and Fundraising Officer. You will deliver a direct income target for each year, with a focus on the development and tendering of statutory commissioning.
Hours: 35 hours per week (28 hours will be considered).

You will be joining a dedicated and enthusiastic fundraising team where you will be personally responsible for managing a portfolio of individual relationships.
