As the StreetDoctors lead for the Region, you will provide leadership in partnership development, volunteer management, the delivery of training and maintaining quality standards.

● To create, develop and maintain partnerships with a range of organisations including, funders, commissioners, community organisations, criminal justice organisations, education providers and youth organisations.
● To develop and manage engaged volunteers and youth workers and ensure their expectations are aligned to the organisation's objectives and provide the best volunteering experience possible.

The Role

About The Hygiene Bank
Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean. It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview.
Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In May 2024, The Hygiene Bank published their second groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 4.2 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

About the Role
As one of our team of four Partnership Managers, you will have the exciting opportunity to make a huge difference in improving the lives of people living in hygiene poverty. Reporting into the Head Operations, the Partnership Managers plays a pivotal role in the charity and are responsible for overseeing and co-piloting our volunteer lead community projects.
The role is varied and requires strong time management, organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous record keeping and strong volunteer management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Volunteer Experience Manager to actively recruit volunteers in key areas, in line with our strategic objectives.
- Onboard new projects by supporting the volunteer project coordinator with all aspects of setting up a community project.
- Foster positive relationships with the project teams to ensure engagement and inclusion and to be the first point of contact for them.
- Co-design and implement project plans for the newly formed projects identifying areas of support needed to sustainably grow the project.
- Work with the projects to identify suitable Community Partners in line with our strategy and eligibility criteria.

The RSPCA is embracing new ways in which we involve and engage volunteers with our work. As part of an ambitious transformation programme we will be testing exciting initiatives, starting with a 12 month pilot of Area Volunteer Support Partners across six trial areas.
We're looking for six talented individuals who have strong people skills and are fantastic at building great working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
In this role you'll be providing expert volunteer management support to our local managers and coordinators, whilst ensuring that the volunteer experience is embedded into all that we do. You'll develop an understanding of the volunteer skills and commitment needs of the local teams you work with, and help them recruit the right people, onboard them and keep them engaged.
You'll also work closely with the volunteers in your area and take time to understand their motivations to volunteer and the skills and experience they offer. By bringing together volunteers from across the local area, you'll identify opportunities where volunteers can collaborate and support different parts of the organisation.
To support our transformation programme, you'll be testing and trialling new volunteering initiatives as defined by our transformation project team. You'll implement initiatives working to agreed timescales whilst helping design processes to aid their adoption by local teams. This role is a home worker role with regular travel within your defined area. You'll be travelling to meet with volunteers, colleagues and local community organisations so a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is essential.

Abortion Support Network is a largely volunteer-run charity that helps people living in European countries with bad abortion laws and provision access safe abortions in clinics abroad. ASN provides practical information, support, funding, travel and accommodation.
We are looking to recruit a new Managing Director to lead the team. ASN began as a group of activists and a mobile phone, and spent its early years running on passion. While remaining true to it’s radical roots, ASN are navigating the realities of building a sustainable organisation which offers the best possible experience for our clients, staff, volunteers and supporters. To do this, we need a strategic thinker who has experience leading a team and works pragmatically to get things done.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will have complete oversight of ASN, from service delivery to IT system procurement. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the London and Home Counties community engagement team to support our exciting work with communities at risk of flooding.
