This role sits within the Community Education and Training team, working to support our learners to access, complete and progress through our wide range of adult learning provision. The main focus will be on providing additional support for learners who need wrap-around support relating to a range of additional personal and educational needs. This could include welfare, personal and family support and wider mental health and wellbeing support or additional learning needs such as dyslexia, ADHD, literacy support and other needs.
You will work with the team to implement strategies and support plans for individuals to aid learning and enhance educational experience. You will support the team’s administrator to monitor learner’s attendance, contacting them via phone, email or arranging a meeting in person where pastoral support is needed.
You will work with our Adult Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding cases across our departments, including keeping safeguarding records, making referrals and building a database of local support services available to learners and other service users.
We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting learners to ensure they have the best opportunity to thrive on their learning journey.
You will also support wider functions in the team such as contributing to the organisation of our termly learners’ forum to celebrate achievement and attending events in the community to publicise our work.

WorkWell is an exciting new government/DWP initiative to get people back to work. As well as providing work placement support, it will also address and support any physical or mental health needs via a Mental Health Provider and Physical Health Advisor who form part of the team. The pilot in Surrey will be going live in December and aims to empower people to take control of their health, wellbeing and any impacts this is having on their employment. That’s where you come in.
This front-line management role comes with responsibility for the day-to-day management of staff and supporting the Service Lead with the running of the service to ensure we provide recovery focused delivery. Seeing that operational KPIs, outcomes, utilisation and voids, etc., are met will be vital too, as will ensuring data entry to MI & reporting systems is accurate, timely and in line with quality assurance requirements. To succeed, you’ll need a relevant professional qualification, e.g. QCF/NVQ minimum level 3 (or be working towards/willing to obtain one), substantial experience of working with a housing and social care background and of managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs. We’ll also be looking for proven experience of carrying out investigations and writing reports and recommendations. Outcome-driven and solution -focussed, you have strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to lead, supervise and motivate staff and provide direction, ownership and engagement to support performance.

As Senior Service Manager, you will direct the strategic requirement, operational care standard and continuous improvement of services to the charity’s clients, the unpaid carers, across Surrey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the Service Managers – ensuring operational excellence and compliancy within your allocated sector
- Collaborating with the other Senior Service Managers to execute strategic visions at the direction of the Head of Care Operations & Registered Manager
- Continuously aspiring to revolutionising the care and support provided to clients
- Providing expert leadership around Safeguarding Concerns and being a role model for
- other members of the operations management team
- Monitoring service provision - ensuring gaps and under contract hours are resolved and resources are being maximised with regards to impact on overall delivery of hours.
- Co-producing and implementing strategic plans for the delivery of care services for unpaid carers in alignment with the business plan.
The successful candidate will have a Care Certificate and knowledge of CQC regulations and Health Care Act and an ideally an NVQ Level 3 or 5 in Health and Social Care (or the willingness to commence in this qualification with 3 months).Previous line management experience, ideally in a care setting, including rostering and completing observations and supervisions is key, as is a good level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word/Excel) and the ability to learn to use other digital platforms and software. Crucially you must have the ability to demonstrate dignity and respect for adults and children with care and support needs and have a thorough understanding of the needs of unpaid carers.

Due to project expansion Aquarius Young People’s Substance Misuse Team are recruiting for several Complex Needs Practitioners - Substance Misuse across the county.
Aquarius has been providing structured and targeted interventions to young people engaging in, at risk of substance misuse or affected by parental substance misuse for many years.
You will work on an outreach basis, including visiting schools & colleges, the Children and Families service, the YOT as well as other local community agencies. The role will involve:
- supporting young people away from engaging in substance misuse
- providing young people with skills and coping strategies to manage their recovery journey
- delivering 1-1 and some group work interventions
- targeted outreach to engage 'hard-to-reach' young people
- delivery of service talks and substance misuse presentations to enhance external professional workforce development with our partner agencies.
Working hours will be Monday-Friday, 37 hours per week, most work will occur during the day, however as a young people’s service we may occasionally ask you to support out of hours sessional work.
Holding a relevant qualification in substance misuse/youth work/psychology/counselling/ mental health/social care or with relevant experience and willingness to work towards a Level 3 Qualification in Health & Social Care you will also:
- Have experience of working with at risk/vulnerable young people in a community setting.
- Be able to deliver behaviour change support, including group work.

This is a new role offering an opportunity for someone who has an aspiration to support positive change for people and green spaces, through providing a bespoke service that touches on all of the NHS ‘Five steps to Wellbeing’ for the volunteers in its’ delivery.
Working with Roots means being part of a team that provides a gardening service that embodies Help & Care’s vision and values and the successful candidate would be expected to take an active role in that delivery, while also taking a lead on the ‘wellbeing and coaching’ aspects for the volunteers through supporting them, utilising appropriate wellbeing tools such as ‘Wellbeing Star’ or the ‘My Wellbeing Action Plan’ for example, to record baseline data, attendance, burgeoning skill sets and impact assessments.
For some of our longer-term volunteers this could be as simple as helping them to maintain their equilibrium and stay out of crisis or for those coming to us with vocational aspirations, then to provide a record of attendance, training and skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide one-to-one and group health coaching support for people, based on what is important to them.
· Supporting volunteers and maintain records.
· Support local health, social care, and voluntary sector professionals to make appropriate referrals of the service.
· Participate in regular support supervision and continual learning.
· Assist with practical day-to-day running of the service.
· To provide professional gardening service to our customers whilst working with our volunteers.

The Immigration Adviser at LAH will provide advice and assistance on basic visa and immigration matters, including handling straightforward cases, often referred to as "initial advice" or "entry-level advice." You will assist LAH service users with applications within the immigration rules including visitor visas, Spouse and dependent visas, straightforward EU Settlement Scheme applications, extensions of leave and Settlement and British citizenship applications, offering advice on non-complex immigration rules and regulations, and explaining to LAH service users the relevant procedures, helping them to complete application forms and gather necessary supporting documents.

Main duties and responsibilities
● Efficiently responding to LAH service users' inquiries while creating a friendly, warm, and welcoming environment
● Providing one-to-one specialist high-quality immigration advice at OISC Level 1 on basic immigration matters, including visitor visas, Spouse and dependent visas, straightforward EU Settlement Scheme applications, extensions of leave to remain, Settlement and British citizenship applications, providing guidance on eligibility and ensuring LAH service users understand their rights and obligations
● Representing LAH service users by completing straightforward application forms, such as visa and leave to remain applications, and assisting them in gathering and preparing the necessary documentation for their applications, maintaining professional conduct with LAH service Users at all times
● Liaising with the Home Office and other relevant authorities on behalf of LAH service users for non-complex matters and submitting high standard applications to the Home Office

Professional Development
● Participating in learning and evaluation sessions with partner organisations as relevant

Other Accountabilities
● Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with LAH's policies and procedures as well as with the OISC and AQS Code of Standards
● Participating in regular one-to-one sessions for both service and professional development purposes, including regular supervision to assess the quality standard of advice work
● Working closely and collaboratively with other advisers, staff team members, interns, trainees, and volunteers as needed to address the holistic needs and circumstances of LAH service users
● Supporting the preparation for audits by the OISC and AQS, as well as for internal and external reports
● Collaborating with the Head of Operations to ensure the smooth running of the service and implement an efficient administrative strategy
● Conducting workshops and presentations on immigration matters as instructed

Responsibilities:
- On boarding and training new Business and Charity Members
- Being the main point of contact for all Members. Regularly communicating with them via meetings and bulletins, in order to match candidates to placements
- Completing monthly reports for the Bright Future Board
- Line managing Bright Future Placement and Partnership Officer
- Working together with the Bright Future Administrator to successfully match candidate to placements
- Maintaining and adapting processes according to the development of programme e.g. referral process

Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with volunteering and children and families’ projects. The role

We are looking for three Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) to join our team in High Wycombe.
The purpose of the role is to engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.
All Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. You will join our caring multi-disciplinary teams, to help empower you to provide quality psychosocial interventions to our diverse client groups.
A core part of the role will be working with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s substance use and wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to physical and emotional health, meaningful use of time, family and relationships, community engagement and activites, accommodation, physical and emotional health, offending as well as substance use (drug use and / or alcohol use).
An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential. You’ll also need a flexible approach, excellent record keeping and report writing skills and a willingness to work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings, on an outreach basis, with a central hub base at our head office.
This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.

Your challenge? To provide advice, support, advocacy and key work for recovery plans and undertake elements of assessment and case management as directed. Preferably with a NVQ 2/3 in Social Care, or willing to attain this, you are used to working to policy and procedural requirements that include child protection, vulnerable adults, confidentiality and health & safety.
We’ll also be looking for good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records and fulfil data requirements. A flexible approach is important too, as is a commitment to taking a client centred approach to providing services and working in a way that recognises and values diversity.

What you'll do:
