In order to be successful, you must have experienced :

• A track record of delivering highly sophisticated events and communications programmes

• Hardworking, driven and flexible and good at dealing with a multi faceted workload.
• An enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Highly accomplished in the area of inter personal skills with a proven track record of building trusted relationships with a wide variety of individuals including sophisticated and diverse alumni, parents, benefactors and potential benefactors of all ages and nationalities.

Key responsibilities

• Grant Management & Compliance: Oversee all stages of the grant lifecycle, ensuring alignment with Foundation guidelines, values, and objectives.
• Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate strong relationships with grantees, charities, and non-profit organisations, acting as the primary point of contact.

The Senior Grants Manager will have at least 5 years' experience in grant management, preferably in a philanthropic or not-for-profit organisation, or experience of grant-making, carrying out grant assessments and grant reports. The successful candidate will have a strong level of analytical skills, strong experience of working with a grant management database (The Bloom Foundation uses Blackbaud) and an interest in learning from grant making to inform future practice. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely and the ability to think strategically. You will have good relationship building skills and a high level of diplomacy and able to deliver in a fast-paced environment. You will be proficient in office software packages, including MS Office and Excel and confident working accurately with figures.

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team player. You will be interested in and committed to contributing to the overall success of a small and highly motivated organisation with a versatile and flexible approach and a "can do" attitude.

The role is based in a modern, vibrant office in Camden on the canal. You will initially work 4 days a week in the office with 1 day from home. Following a successful probation period, your working pattern will be a minimum of 3 days in the office with 2 days from home. There will be some evening events, and some travel involved nationally to visit grantees. We are seeking a part-time Family Practitioner who will support families with blind and partially sighted children and young people to develop improved emotional wellbeing, resilience, and coping strategies.

This post will cover Central and Southern London, so the ability to travel across the city will be an advantage. You’ll be part of a remote England and Wales wide Family Practitioner team, who work closely together to draw on each other’s skills and experience to ensure families receive the best service from RSBC.

The team link together to run online groups that further support families, and this work may be in the evenings. The team meet weekly online and come together in person for two-day team training at our London office at least twice a year.

The main purpose of this role is to:

· To establish and maintain a case load of families with blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 0 to 25 who identify themselves as needing support.

· To undertake family assessments to identify specific areas of need; to identify and deliver appropriate interventions that will promote children’s development and emotional wellbeing in collaboration with family members and make and support onward referrals as required.

· To ensure that support is high quality and meets the high standard that RSBC sets, with pre agreed performance indicators.

The ideal candidate will ideally have a qualification that demonstrates the ability to establish a trusting and open relationship with families and CYP. You’ll be experienced in providing emotional wellbeing support with families directly and have knowledge of child development from experience or qualification. You’ll know about family systems/systemic practice – from experience or qualification as well as knowledge and practical experience of using family centred interventions in collaboration with families. We’d like you to have excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong teamwork ethic to fit in with our friendly and knowledgeable team of Family Practitioners across England and Wales.

Role Requirements

Site wide general housekeeping service – ensure that the housekeeping services is of an acceptable level and is consistent across site.

• Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas ensuring that daily tasks are completed according to the standard operating procedures in relation to the cleanliness/hygiene standards.
• Follow infection control procedures whenever carrying out duties and ensure procedures are followed should there be an infection control outbreak.
• Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff on a daily basis – carrying out special requests in relation to Housekeeping.
• Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment and sufficient stock is maintained – informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
• Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis and cleaning of carpets, curtains and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
• Ensure that any repairs required to fixtures and fittings are reported to the designated Facilities Helpdesk as soon as possible and any issues are reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure any works are to agreed service levels.
• Prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

Our Immigration Advice Programme

We have a long and proud history of providing immigration advice to the Latin American community and has extensive experience with the varied and complex needs that arise from the UK's ever-changing immigration system. Our Immigration Advice Programme is designed to meet these needs through the provision of specialist one-to-one advice and casework services, delivered in Spanish and Portuguese, as well as identifying and addressing policy changes and how they impact our community.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an immigration adviser to lead our dynamic immigration advice team and help shape the future of the programme as part of the senior management team at a fast-growing charity in London. As IRMO's Immigration Advice Programme Manager, you will bring your expertise and experience together to organise, implement and improve our range of immigration services to offer the maximum benefit for our community, in both the short and long term. 

Your responsibilities will include implementing and progressing the programme's overarching strategy; the ongoing development and training of team members; representing IRMO across broader advice networks; and advising on organisational responsibilities related to immigration. You will also have the chance to develop new, cross-over skills beyond advice provision.

Key Experience and Qualifications for the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Immigration Adviser at OISC Level 2 or 3 with at least two years of recent and continuous relevant experience in immigration. The ideal candidate will also have a minimum of three years of experience managing programmes or projects, particularly in advice and community support services.

The role requires a proven track record in delivering against targets and demonstrated experience in line managing people in a variety of roles, supporting staff to work to their full potential.

Our Safeguarding Team has a great opportunity for you to join them as a Safeguarding Advisor, where you can contribute to making the Trust a safeguarding first organisation that is a safe and supportive place for young people to be part of.

You will provide safeguarding support and advice to our frontline colleagues, volunteers and partners working with children and young people aged 11-30 participating in Prince's Trust programmes and activities.

Your primary focus will be on case management of safeguarding referrals for young people across the four nations of the UK. International Programmes Manager: Local First

Salary: £43,000 p.a.

Peace Direct is an international charity that works with local peacebuilders and their allies to shift power and resources for sustainable peace. Local people are the experts in the conflicts that affect their communities, and only they understand what it takes to build peace that lasts. We make sure these local peacebuilders have the resources they need to make peace a reality, and that their work is resourced, acknowledged and supported by the international community.

The role

The International Programme Manager is responsible for the effective management, coordination and delivery of an ambitious new multi-year programme, Local First: Transforming the Peacebuilding System. This programme will support and strengthen the ecosystem of local actors working for sustainable peace in Afghanistan, Mali, Sudan and eastern DRC, and advocate for increased resourcing and acknowledgement of locally-led peacebuilding.  

We are looking for an experienced, passionate person who can:

• Manage and implement a complex, multi-country programme
• Develop and maintain mutually accountable, trust-based relationships with local peacebuilding actors. This will require working proficiency in French as well as English.
• Contribute to the design and development of new work in support of transforming the peacebuilding system in four focus countries
• Oversee internal and external coordination of Peace Direct’s programmes and partnerships work 
• Line manage a Senior Programmes Officer, and support the work of up to four Local Peacebuilding Advisors
• Contribute to organisational learning and the roll-out of our learning loop
• Contribute to strengthening Peace Direct’s reputation as a leading peacebuilding organisation shifting power and resources for sustainable peace
