We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven fundraiser to join Kew’s successful Development team. Through maximising income from trusts and foundations and achieving Kew’s fundraising targets, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will enable Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to realise its goal to help end the extinction crisis and contribute to a world where nature is protected, valued by all, and managed sustainably.
This is a fantastic opportunity to actively participate in the implementation of the Trusts and Foundations strategy, helping to maintain and grow our income. The postholder will produce high-quality proposals, effectively steward existing donors, and establish and develop relationships with new funders to Kew. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across Development and Kew to deliver a world class fundraising function. This is an especially exciting time to join Kew’s fundraising team as we have recently begun the silent phase of a major comprehensive fundraising campaign which will build upon the Breathing Planet Campaign which raised £102.4m.
About You
An excellent writer with the ability to develop persuasive proposals, you will be responsible for making funding applications to trusts and foundations and providing funding impact reports as required. You will be an experienced fundraiser with a strong understanding of effective trust fundraising techniques, sound analytical skills and a meticulous eye for detail with experience of achieving financial targets. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and effective relationships with funders and colleagues. You will be a strong communicator and creative thinker with the ability to work calmly under pressure and synthesise complex information to inspire a variety of audiences.
Whilst primarily based at Kew, there is the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Grants Fundraiser to join our highly successful Grants team at an exciting time for WWT.
As Grants Fundraiser you will manage a wide funder portfolio of charitable trust, statutory and Lottery grant partners, with a combined value in excess of £1M and supporting a range of high-impact and innovative programmes across the UK.
The Grants Team make a major contribution to raising critical funding for high-impact and innovative conservation, education and community-focussed programmes in the UK and internationally, raising in excess of £3M p/a. This is an exciting opportunity to maximise the potential of key relationships with a range of UK grant funders. The successful candidate will help influence the development of key projects to ensure projects are aligned with strategy and create compelling funding proposals.
The role is a permanent full time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is based at our Slimbridge office and suitable for hybrid working, with around one to two days a week required in the office. Occasional travel will be required to sites or funder meetings, so a driver's licence is desirable.
About You
Our ideal candidate is
- An experienced grants fundraiser with a track record of securing six figure grants
- A career fundraiser who is resourceful, self-motivated, determined, well-organised and creative with strong communication and numerical skills
- A fundraiser with experience of working with a range of funders, including charitable trust, statutory, Landfill Community Fund and Lottery
You will bring
- Exemplary relationship management skills and a confident, professional and collaborative approach to influencing internal and external stakeholders
- The ability to write high quality, compelling applications to secure funding for projects and a thorough, organised approach to compiling impactful reports and processing complex claims

Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser

About the role:
We are looking to appoint an experienced fundraiser to secure new corporate partnerships to help fund the growth of our care services, and to build relationships with companies to help them achieve their CSR goals.
Reporting to the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager. You will be part of a team to drive Rainbow Trust’s Corporate income, building and maintaining the pipeline through effective networking, prospecting, and stewardship. You will be responsible for a varied and fulfilling portfolio of accounts to whom you will become a main contact and provide excellent corporate account management. Some accounts raising six figure sums, to whom you will become a main contact and provide excellent account management.
You will work collaboratively towards a ‘one team one target’ approach across the Fundraising and Engagement department and ensure that the use of technology is maximized and all processes are subject to continuous improvement.

The role
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Trust and Foundation fundraising. Your responsibilities will include building long-term partnerships with grant making trusts and foundations, ensuring support through in-depth research, excellent stewardship, and timely and accurate reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships and collaboratively with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, as well as colleagues across the organisation to find creative and compelling projects to be funded.

As an effective communicator you will have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to create high quality proposals and informative reports. You will have excellent relationship management skills with the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Your role involves managing the trusts and foundations pipeline and you will need to be able to take initiative, research, prioritise and organise your own work to achieve deadlines across multiple tasks.
You will have:
- Experience in new identifying, researching, and reaching new prospects.
- Experience in writing bespoke proposals.
- Strong administrative, planning & prioritisation abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft office applications

This role will focus on enhancing fundraising efforts for a major refurbishment of one of their largest children’s hospitals. The successful candidate will play a key role in securing funds to support a significant renovation project that will introduce enhanced multi-functional spaces, improved accessibility, a comprehensive infrastructure upgrade, and a brighter, modernised environment designed to better support the families the charity serves.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and write persuasive grant proposals and funding applications for identified opportunities.
- Engage with donors and funding bodies to build and maintain strong relationships, ensuring alignment with project goals and funding requirements.
- Research and identify additional funding opportunities to expand the project's funding base
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and insights for crafting compelling narratives that effectively communicate the project's impact and needs.
Person Specification:
- Demonstrated success in securing funding from grant-giving organisations, with a strong track record in achieving financial targets.
- Experience in obtaining funding for major capital projects, showcasing the ability to manage large-scale funding initiatives.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to craft tailored messages for various audiences and stakeholders.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to work closely with the Appeal Project Team to gather necessary information and ensure the completion of high-quality applications.
- Keen attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple deadlines effectively, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

The Trust and Corporate Prospect Researcher is a new role and part of the fundraising team for Brain Tumour Research.
The Prospect Researcher will help create a funding pipeline so the charity can maximise income by identifying prospects with an ability to give so the fundraising team can make productive approaches to increase partnership fundraising from both charitable trusts and corporates.
Position: Trusts and Corporate Prospect Researcher
Location: Head Office, Milton Keynes. We offer a hybrid working model, where team members are expected to be in the office for a minimum of three days per week.
Salary: £34,000 per annum.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week

About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of philanthropy here at Brain Tumour Research as we look to grow our income from Trusts and Corporates. As a Trust and Corporate Prospect Researcher, you will play an important part in building the Trusts and Corporates pipeline at Brain Tumour Research and securing funding for our vision of finding a cure for all brain tumours. About You
We are looking for a research driven and conscientious individual who can develop a strong fundraising pipeline that will ensure the team can reach their long-term targets. You’ll provide insights into new areas of prospecting to continually replenish the pipeline with high-capacity prospects in order to meet current and future income targets. Your natural curiosity will lead you to identify new opportunities using a variety of online sources in combination with our existing database (Thank Q), and you will be able to articulate your recommendations to fundraisers in a concise and compelling way.

- Strong IT skills, competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Experience of creating and/or managing systems to support prospect pipeline management.

This is an exciting new role at Centre 33 and will play a key role to support the advancement and successful implementation of an operational plan to fundraise across Corporate and Community opportunities.

You will support the Development & Partnerships Lead and other team members with Trust and Foundation applications and other fundraising activities as required. You will be confident establishing new and growing existing meaningful relationships and will maintain clear records of progress in our CRM (Donorfy). Working with colleagues across the organisation, you will prepare high-quality communications, proposals and pitches which demonstrate our deep understanding of young people’s needs and help us to successfully meet our fundraising goals.
