About the role:

As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for providing a housing management service to the service users living in Vibrance owned and managed services. You will provide support to Vibrance services in relation to health and safety, maintenance, housing law and tenancy issues, rent collection, and arrears management. You’ll also provide specific support and advice to individuals who use Vibrance services with housing matters and money advice.

The Housing Officer role will be supporting our services located across London & South- East England and as such ability to travel is essential.

Responsibilities as our Housing Officer will include:

• Supporting prospective service users (and their carers where appropriate) with all aspects of the moving in/out process, to ensure that people are able to make an informed decision about whether or not to move in or move out
• Ensuring that individuals are maximising their benefits, including supporting them to make claims and liaising with the Dept of Work and Pensions and Housing Benefit staff as necessary
• Providing support to ensure that individuals are able to maintain their tenancies, including debt/arrears management, anti-social behaviour resolution, and the issues that can arise from shared living
• Working alongside our service managers and landlords to ensure that accommodation remains fit for purpose, well maintained, suitable for the individual residents and that all health & safety responsibilities are being met

We are looking for a Centre Administrator to support both the administration and running of all activities at the Centre and the maintenance of facilities for all users of the building.

Reporting to our Centre Manager, our Centre Administrator will: 

• Support the administration of courses, conferences and other events at the Centre.
• Be the first point of contact for all visitors, telephone calls and general email enquiries.
• Offer first line support for delegate and member queries.
• Work with the Centre Manager to ensure the smooth running of the building for visitors and staff.
• Support the Centre Manager to host courses and events including set-up of rooms, materials, catering, greeting and registering course participants and responding to the attendees’ needs.
• Maintain and manage the centre diary ensuring all facilities and equipment are available as required.
• Be a liaison for all room hire enquiries, ensuring all bookings are recorded and invoiced, and resources provided as requested
• Maintain the signing in system, setting up course and event attendee lists
• Raise purchase orders for office related spending.
• Support the wider CLPE team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
• On request - arrange travel and accommodation for any staff working away from the office.
• Usual hours are within 9am to 2pm but the post requires occasional out-of-office hours and flexible working in order to fulfil event commitments

You might find it difficult to express and share how you have been affected by these events, especially to your loved one with the injury. Overwhelming feelings of guilt, helplessness, confusion and isolation are very common. 

Back Up’s Family Support team are there to help. Right from the point of injury, our Family Support Coordinators work together with the family and the injured person to create their own ‘Family Plan’ - making sure they have access to information and support throughout the rehabilitation journey.

Who will I be changing the lives of?

Main Responsibilities

• To be responsible for a caseload of learners with EHCP's aged 16-25 years
• To act as the main point of contact for staff and services with SEND related queries
• To arrange and carry out Annual Reviews and PEP’s as well as completion and submission of all relevant paperwork, acting as chair for these meetings when required
• To assist the Change Leader with the transition process for learners starting at Really NEET as well as those learners leaving Really NEET
• Responsible for over-seeing the progression of learners on completion of the course
• Promote Inclusion best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the college

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the United Kingdom delivers a range of programming to support migrants, both in the UK and internationally, including projects focusing on labour migration, resettlement, migration and development, migrant protection, human trafficking and modern slavery, and community cohesion.

Survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking who were trafficked to the UK may decide to return to their country of origin. Evidence shows that support provided to survivors once they return home is crucial to helping them reintegrate safely and ensuring good overall protection outcomes, including protection against the risk of being re-trafficked. It also highlights the important role support providers play in preparing survivors for return and assisting them to access reintegration services and other forms of support in their countries of origin.  However, potential areas for improvement have been identified among voluntary return support providers in the UK, including: how risks are assessed and managed; the quality and consistency of information provided on support available in countries of return; understanding barriers to accessing services; and how to ensure procedures for contact/ referrals are clear and consistent

IOM has been awarded a Home Office grant for a project which seeks to increase the capacity of organisations in the UK who support survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery (UK support providers) in the area of voluntary return and reintegration. In particular, the project will work across the following 3 outputs:

1) A comprehensive assessment of current voluntary return arrangements for survivors of all genders and ages in the UK will be carried out

2) A national mapping of available reintegration services and how survivors can access these services in common countries of return is completed (covering Albania, Brazil, China, India and Pakistan)

3) Voluntary return support providers across the UK have increased capacity to conduct appropriate risks assessments and risk management plans, and to provide clarity and consistency in the referral process.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of the Regional Safeguarding Lead role is to support safeguarding practice in dioceses and cathedrals across the Church of England.

As a Regional Safeguarding Lead, you will support the development of best safeguarding practices in one of eight regional clusters of Diocesan Boards of Finance (DBFs) and cathedrals. Providing professional supervision and quality assurance to Safeguarding Officers, you will support the implementation of the National Safeguarding Standards to encourage consistency of practice. You will also support Church bodies to respond to the findings of the Independent Safeguarding Audit Programme.

You will facilitate the sharing of best practices and resources, group supervision, and the commissioning of joint initiatives between Church bodies. Working closely with senior managers, senior clergy and other stakeholders, you will ensure Church-wide consistency in approach.

You'll be responsible for:

• Providing 1:1 professional supervision to Safeguarding Officers in dioceses and cathedrals, informed by the 4x4x4 integrated/restorative model of supervision (Morrisson & Wonnacott).
• Providing advice and guidance on individual cases and safeguarding-related situations.
• Using tools and frameworks to examine practices and processes ensuring the Church of England's National Safeguarding Standards are being consistently met or worked towards.
• Leading regional networks of safeguarding professionals from dioceses and cathedrals, and facilitating joint working, sharing of resources and other mutual support arrangements.
• Establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders within dioceses and cathedrals, in particular, their senior leadership teams.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Administrator to join our new Volunteer Team. Are you an organised Administrator with experience of working in a complex organisation? Do you have excellent customer service skills and a passion for supporting members of the Armed Forces Community? Previous experience of working with volunteers and/or being a volunteer would be a bonus.

You’ll be happy to work from home for 3 days per week, and at our Head Office in Downton for the other 2 days. You’ll also need to travel for other organisational commitments including inductions, training, events, and team meetings which may require some overnight stays.

About the Role

The Volunteer Team Administrator will be responsible for supporting the efficient and effective recruitment, onboarding, management, and engagement of volunteers. This will include dealing with volunteer enquiries, onboarding new volunteers (including compliance checks), helping at events, and providing general admin to the Volunteer Team. They’ll also be a super user of our new Volunteer Management System, supporting others in its use.

About the Team

Help for Heroes is creating a new Volunteer Team to support the delivery of our new Volunteer Framework. We’re a small but ambitious team working closely with other teams across the charity to recruit, manage and engage volunteers. If you’d like to join a team that is excited to improve and grow our current volunteering programme, to support more members of the Armed Forces Community, this could be the role for you.

Database Officer

We are seeking an experienced, confident, and proactive Database Officer to join a growing team as our charity expands. Are you an advanced user of a database or CRM and have strong Microsoft skills?

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the role and increase their skillset, has excellent attention to detail and is an analytical problem solver, who can communicate clearly, technical and complex issues to non-technical colleagues.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (35 hours FTE) depending on experience

Hours: Full Time (35 hrs per week)

Place of work: Hybrid/Flexible with a requirement to attend our offices in Hatfield, Herts, at least once a month.
