You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the strategic development and delivery of the Local Nature Partnership across Wiltshire & Swindon
• Developing and implementing three core work programmes including Local Nature Recovery & Green Finance, Water Resilience, and Health, Wellbeing & Access
• Facilitate cross-sector collaboration, engaging landowners, public bodies, NGOs, and communities
• Influence local and national policy and promote nature-based solutions through advocacy and communications
• Represent the LNP at high-level meetings, forums, and in the media
• Secure sustainable funding for the LNP and manage budgets effectively
• Support the implementation of the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) and develop investable propositions
• Produce annual impact and "State of Nature" reports, tracking progress and driving accountability

Job Title: Service Manager

We are recruiting for a Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. This is a multifaceted, fast paced, and exciting role where you will join our team in Derby to lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services for survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. 

The post holder will provide line management and high-quality support to the direct reports in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors. 

Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting.  In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors.  You will have knowledge of relevant Criminal and Civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota. Please note that this is an on-site role.

This peer support project is delivered in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust, to support Carers of people with mental health conditions.  This project will work to support Carers through one-to-one support, outreach, training and peer support groups.

About The Role:

Using your lived experience of caring for someone with a mental health condition, and a strengths-based approach, you will support mental health Carers in their caring role.  You will provide person centred one-to-one- support, information, signposting, and advocacy, develop, and facilitate peer support groups in response to identified need and deliver training and outreach sessions at different locations across the borough. You will work in partnership with South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust (SWLStG), to ensure Carers are identified and routinely referred into the service. You will have responsibility for line managing the Mental Health Carers Peer Support Worker.

Key Requirements Include:

- Lived experience of Caring for someone with a mental health condition

- Experience of direct work with clients, providing information, advocacy and 1:1 support, including assessing  need.

- Experience of / ability to develop and facilitate peer support groups and training.

- Efficient organisation and time management skills with the ability to balance and prioritise a busy and varied workload.

- Developed IT skills, with experience using databases and communication platforms.

- Experience of liaising with a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies at all levels.

- Experience of report writing, including statistical data

About the Role

Role Summary

This role will support the expanding team with all engagement activities to ensure that good relationships are maintained with all Alcohol Change UK (ACUK) supporters, beneficiaries and volunteers. The Engagement Officer will undertake administration related to volunteer recruitment and recording of volunteer activities as well as being the first point of contact for the team ensuring ACUK delivers high levels of support to our volunteers. The role will also be responsible for creating content and delivering elements of our engagement communication programme.

Purpose of the role

To lead on corporate partnerships and support the other areas of income generation, including trusts and foundations fundraising and service development. This role will have a national remit and work closely with Brook’s Executive Team and colleagues across the organisation to support business growth and innovation through effective management of existing and new partnerships.

Essential criteria

• Proven experience of securing effective and successful corporate partnerships within the charitable sector.    
• Significant experience of securing funding and generating income through charitable trusts, foundations or other funding bodies and partnership working. 
• Outstanding communication skills at all levels, with the ability to build successful relationships with a range of partners, including corporate/ business partners 
• Good financial understanding and ability to develop and present budgets and financial information. 
• Knowledge of corporate/ charitable relationships and the added value these can bring to both partners.
