Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. In some services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.

The shifts for this role are Monday - Friday.

What you'll do:

If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer. In some services, this will include delivering personal and physical care as appropriate
Support customer's practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills
Participate in the support planning and risk management. Enable customers to make full use of community facilities by providing support as directed
Enable customers to make full use of leisure and learning-based opportunities in the service as well as in the community by providing support as directed e.g. Gym, swimming and visiting various public amenities
Supporting customers in the delivery of their prescribed health, physio, nutritional and sensory routines with guidance from/in partnership with external healthcare professionals
Partnership working with a range of stakeholders including families, healthcare professionals, external personal assistants other support agencies to maximise outcomes for customers
Providing support around personal care and mobility as well as the moving and handling of customers with physical disabilities/wheelchair users

About the role

As an Experienced Practitioner, you will provide direct support and care for our young people who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions.

Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged 12 – 17 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our residents are safe, providing support, liaison with other professionals and completion of support documents to record information.

Applicants should have

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (i.e. Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People Workforce with the children's social care pathway) or be willing to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years as per Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (England).
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working and supporting children and Young People to achieve their full potential.
• Genuine commitment to working with and supporting children and Young People to achieve their full potential; with the ability to build and promote trusted relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• An understanding of the issues facing children and Young People and a basic understanding of safeguarding Regulations and Procedures.

Main responsibilities:
- Monitor and support compliance with the charity's policy management framework, including SharePoint administration and documentation control.

- Analyse and report on incidents and complaints, identifying trends and supporting improvements through shared learning.
- Track progress against audit recommendations, board assurance framework, and follow up on counter-fraud incidents, ensuring timely closure of actions.
- Support the management of Marie Curie's insurance programme, including inbox monitoring, data collation, renewals and contractor assurance.
- Assist with the business continuity programme, highlighting patterns and supporting teams to implement relevant actions.
- Provide general administrative, analytical and reporting support across the compliance portfolio, adapting to shifting priorities as needed.

Key Criteria:
- Solid knowledge of compliance principles, risk management, audit processes, and assurance frameworks.
- Previous experience working with insurance programs.
- Experience coordinating processes end-to-end, particularly within complaints handling, audit action plans or insurance-related functions.
- Proven ability to analyse data and communicate complex information clearly to varied audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.

Sister Circle is looking for a part-time Programme Lead who is committed to tackling one of the most pressing challenges in women’s health today—improving equity and justice for underserved communities of women.

The Role

In this newly created role of Programme Lead, you will be responsible for working closely with pregnant mums and Maternity Mates volunteers to provide tailored support to ensure each pregnancy is a positive experience. You will be responsible for the assessments to determine the support needs of pregnant mums, matching each with her volunteer Maternity Mate; whilst mentoring each volunteer through her journey with mum to provide the very best support.

You will develop good working relationships with volunteers and pregnant mums and take responsibility for continuous improvement so that mums receive the very best possible support and are able to navigate and make choices for themselves. You will proactive and enjoy working collaboratively with your Project Manager and other members of the Sister Circle team.

You will be expected to work from one or two of the Family Hub sites within Croydon.

You will be confident and proficient in:

Programme Management – delivering high quality support programme for mums living with complex needs and managing volunteers. Effectively manage a significant caseload and effectively manage multiple priorities, at times under pressure.

Engagement and Collaboration – working closely with colleagues to deliver the day-to-day support.

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Floating Support worker to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and their children in the community.

The post-holder will support the Ascent Pan London Service in building sustainable referral pathways and joint working protocols with a range of partners working with survivors of domestic abuse. You will provide capacity-building in the form of advice, advocacy, support, and briefings across the London boroughs to statutory agencies and community organizations around the needs of Eastern European domestic abuse survivors, to embed best practice across our communities. 

The successful appliant  will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to survivors of gender-based violence. Additionally, you will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and be a proactive team player.

Your demonstrable marketing experience will play a key part in the conception, content creation, production, administration and analysis of a busy programme of direct mail appeals, supporting ACN projects around the world. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will offer support and creative input to our acquisition, retention, reactivation and conversion programmes as well as collaborating with initiatives across the wider Fundraising and Marketing and Press and Public Affairs teams. £29,940.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week.

Specialist Support Workers within Look Ahead are required to have either an extra dimension of experience or a higher qualification level as determined relevant for the post.
The shift pattern for this role includes: Early 8-4pm and late 2pm-10pm - Monday to Friday and double or, 8am-3pm/3pm-10pm Saturday and Sunday. With some mid shifts. Working days also includes bank holidays.

What you'll do:
* Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
* Carrying out holistic assessments of new customers which incorporate relevant statutory referral information
* Conducting regular key work sessions that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals
* Key-working the most complex service-users with needs aligned with Drug and Alcohol dependency
* Creating support plans for providing appropriate services based on on-going assessment and reflecting the services and resources available to enable customers to progress in their recovery
* Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'
* Providing support and access to relevant services to enable customers to continue their recovery and empower customers to self-manage their medication regimes through individual re-enablement programmes and informed decision making

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant area (e.g. substance misuse, addiction, psychology, Health and Social Care,).

* knowledgeable in "Recovery" with an excellent understanding of addiction,
* capable of completing comprehensive assessments, managing a high caseload of complex cases, creating care plans and risk assessments,

Role Context and purpose

Following recent and projected growth of the organisation, Gaddum is looking to recruit additional resource within the Central team to bolster support; ensuring delivery of safe and high-quality services. Gaddum acts as an administrator for smaller trusts and charities, who do not have internal finance teams, and this role will act as the key point of contact for those trusts in delivering financial support. In addition to this, Gaddum also redistributes grant funding – this role is to act as the Finance lead for the financial management of the funding.

The post holder, line managed by the Finance and Resources Director, will join the finance team and work alongside another Finance Assistant responsible for Accounts Payable and Receivable. This is a 28 hours per week role, working flexibly to suit the needs of the organisation and individual.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Trust Funds
• Key point of contact for trusts
• Administration of trust fund applications against agreed policies between Gaddum and the associated trusts
• Coordination and administration of trust meetings on behalf of the organisation and trusts
• Maintaining accurate, timely and relevant written and financial records, pertaining to the administration of the trust funds
• Respond to enquiries and requests by phone, email and in person as required
• To assist with collating and inputting of data, e.g. accounts for reporting periods
• To liaise with referring organisations, referrers and beneficiaries where necessary during the day-to-day administration of trust funds

Grant Funding
• Working with the existing Grant Coordinator in ensuring the regular invoicing of grant funding
• Accurate and timely processing and payment of this funding to organisations within the region
• Maintaining accurate financial information for statutory reporting
• Finance contact for all grant related enquiries

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• To support the Finance Assistant (Accounts Payable & Receivable) in periods of absence
• To meet regularly with Finance & Resources Director for supervisions
• Undertake additional duties within competence of post holds as required by the Finance & Resources Director
• Flexible approach to working patterns and in-office working days
