ABOUT THE NIGHT SUPERVISOR ROLE
We are developing our night service which runs to deliver high quality, trauma-informed services to residents, participants, and staff on night shift. We are currently looking for Night Supervisors to support the running of our night service, ensuring our services run smoothly, safely, and that our night support staff are well supported. You will line manage various frontline care and support staff including night concierge services.
We are looking for a Night Supervisor who is driven to provide high quality, effective, and person-centred support to staff, colleagues, residents and participants. You will thrive on team work and be an effective communicator, respecting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. You will understand and/or have experience of working with people with multiple and complex needs, and have experience in working with and engaging diverse groups of people from varying backgrounds. Ideally, you will have people management experience however, the ability to line manage and lead a team to stay motivated is more important to us!
This role will be responsible for supporting the Service Managers to ensure the highest standards of service quality, performance, and improvement are delivered on the night rota. You will encourage productivity and engagement of night staff which will include regular check ins, service visits, and completing spot checks. You will be responsible for ensuring full handovers are made from day to night staff, and night to day staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Shift Pattern: Full-Time - 37.5 hours per week including nights, weekends, and evenings Monday to Sunday. This role is mainly based around London with regular travel across London and outer London services which include Brighton, Luton, Kent, Luton, and Bedford.
Salary: £34,000

What are we looking for from a Night Supervisor?
- Complex Needs Expertise: Apply your understanding of working with individuals with complex backgrounds - including ex-offenders, mental health needs, substance misuse, and challenging behaviours - to ensure compassionate, effective support.
- Operational Leadership: Manage and support night-shift care and support staff, ensuring smooth service delivery across all sites.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular check-ins, service visits, and spot checks to uphold service standards and staff engagement.
- Handover Coordination: Facilitate thorough handovers between day and night teams to ensure continuity of care and clear communication.
- Staff Support: Act as a point of escalation for night staff, providing guidance and fostering a trauma-informed, productive work environment.
- Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with Service Managers to identify areas for improvement and implement night-specific solutions.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, case management systems) and quickly adapt to new organisational software to maintain accurate records and reporting.

The Role

About the role:
We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated individual to join us as a Specialist Multiple Disadvantage Worker (SMDW). This is an incredible opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of individuals who have experienced severe and multiple disadvantages, helping them transition from rough sleeping into supported accommodation and a brighter future. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll lead efforts to ensure that clients, often facing significant barriers to engagement, are introduced to vital health and social care services in a psychologically informed way.
Your role will involve managing a small caseload of clients with a complex and entrenched history of rough sleeping. You’ll build strong, trusting relationships with these clients, many of whom have faced challenges in accessing services, and help them engage with external services that are essential to their recovery. By leading assessments, managing multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, and overseeing safeguarding and in-reach clinics, you will ensure that each client receives the best possible support. Additionally, you’ll work closely with Project Workers, offering guidance and advice on housing and support tools, ensuring that the team is empowered with the knowledge to help clients achieve lasting change.
As a key member of the team, you’ll collaborate with a wide network of professionals, from substance misuse workers to occupational therapists, nurses, and GPs. The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare profession/health related professional to join our existing team of Wellbeing Consultants embedded within established UK GenesisCare cancer treatment centres.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with patients, relatives, GenesisCare staff team and Wellbeing consultant team and the wider Penny Brohn UK organization. We are looking for a professional who can work in a flexible, proactive, intelligent, and creative way. Candidates should have experience of working within private or national health related services and have knowledge, experience/understanding of complementary therapies or other support services.
Key role considerations
- This role will involve working alongside our partner GenesisCare to ensure a holistic approach is taken in aspects of support and treatment.
- The bulk of the patient work is delivery of one-to-one sessions – completing holistic needs assessments, review appointments, consultations, mindfulness, and relaxation sessions.
- The Wellbeing Consultant is responsible for ensuring that patients and their relatives have a positive experience as they move through the Penny Brohn UK treatment support services at GenesisCare.

Beyond the Streets is a UK charity with over 20 years’ experience of partnering with women in the sex industry, to see them safe from coercion, violence and abuse.
Our ‘Direct Work’ is central to the organisation, providing trauma-informed, holistic support, to women who are/have been involved in selling sex. Whilst the service has been established for over 10 years, we are entering into a period of change, and are seeking an experienced manager, to lead the team through this transition.
Working as part of a team in our East London office, you will be responsible for providing oversight and support for the day-to-day operations of the team, who provide regular telephone support to a caseload of women.
These calls will be often the first point of support for women involved in the sex industry, offering a listening ear for them to process some of their feelings and experiences and providing emotional support; as well as providing more practical assistance to overcome the barriers they face in accessing support. This could be through advocating with external agencies e.g., mental health, housing, problematic substance use, homelessness, poverty, domestic abuse, sexual violence, the criminal justice system; and to make positive steps forward with their lives.
You will also have responsibility for maintain relationships with our small team of volunteer therapists, who provide free counselling to the women we work alongside.

Strategic Leadership and Development

Team Leadership and Development

- Provide direct line management to senior staff including development support, coaching, performance management and access to training, and to support senior staff and volunteers to do the same to the teams they manage.

ABOUT THE CHILDREN AND FAMILY WORKER ROLE
Our service provides a safe and supportive refuge for women and children escaping domestic abuse. Women stay with us for six months to a year, receiving specialist support to rebuild their lives. We accept children up to the age of 15 and offer tailored assistance in finding housing, accessing benefits, trauma stabilisation, and emotional and practical day-to-day support.
Support is provided through key work sessions, risk assessments, and empowerment-focused activities. The Children and Family Worker will play a key role in supporting families, including conducting Family Star assessments (with training provided). The role is based across two sites, and the successful candidate will be the only specialist in the residence, giving them autonomy to shape the role based on their expertise and experience. The Children and Family Worker will focus on supporting mothers with children, planning and leading activities to help families settle into the refuge and build positive experiences. This is not a desk-based role; it requires someone who enjoys being active, creative, and hands-on in supporting families.
Shift Pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week on a rotating schedule. Shifts include: Early Shift: 07:30 - 15:30, Day Shift: 09:00 - 17:00 and Late Shift: 11:30 - 19:30 Your daily hours will vary, but over a 12-week period you'll work an equal balance of early, day and late shifts. This role requires working one Saturday every 3 months, with Saturday shifts always being 09:00 - 17:00.
Salary: £26,100
What are we looking for from a Children and Family Worker?
- Proven ability to organise, plan and deliver play sessions, after-school activities and family-focused events – including seasonal celebrations (Halloween, Christmas and Easter), day trips to the cinema or beach, and other special occasions – whilst effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Supporting mothers in helping their children transition to new schools.
- Assisting children with behavioural challenges and supporting them in accessing early intervention services.
- Working with children with special educational needs or additional behavioural needs.
- Experience working with both adults and children, particularly those from complex backgrounds.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to support both children and mothers through challenging situations.
- Willingness and confidence to work with children with behavioural or special educational needs.

Are you a dynamic, collaborative, and compassionate individual with a proven track record as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma-responsive interventions that support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system, whether in the community or in prisons?
If so, St Giles and the Wise Group are looking for a Women’s Wellbeing Coach to be an integral part of a multi-agency team providing person-centred support, where you will deliver holistic and trauma-informed Women’s services to females on remand or unsentenced.

About this exciting opportunity
As a Women’s Wellbeing Coach, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users, who will be female adults aged 18 years and above on remand and unsentenced within Cambridgeshire. This role will involve completing trauma-informed assessments and developing, in collaboration with each service user, action plans which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.
We will also rely on you to create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users and to deliver a range of interventions which contribute towards achieving pre-determined targets. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with external agencies and working towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales are both essential aspects of the role, as is providing updates and reports, where required, using a range of formats.
What we are looking for
- Proven ability and experience as a caseworker delivering gender specific and trauma-responsive interventions that support resettlement and rehabilitation of female adults in the criminal justice system, whether in the community or in prisons.
- Experience of working with young adults and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes.
- Experience of engaging successfully with challenging people, for example, people who have complex needs, people who are reluctant to discuss their needs, and people who are angry and confused. Experience in delivery of 1:1 and group coaching solutions, including preparation and delivery of skills and learning.
- Experience in working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project.
Please note this role requires the Enhanced Adult Workforce only.
