About the Team:
The WaterAid Data Operations team sits within our Communications and Fundraising Directorate as part of our Performance, Insight and Innovation Department. The team is the link between our fundraisers and the data and technology that supports their work and allow great supporter experience and income generation, overseeing management of supporter data, income processing and claims and supporting users with data queries and with using our Microsoft dynamics CRM, Nimbus. This team is also a hub within our data functions, identifying and resolving any issues with our data or opportunities for improvement in collaboration with the CRM Product Team, Data Engineering & Architecture and Data & Analytics team.

About the Role:
As our systematic and strategic Data Operations Manager, you will lead the Data Operations Team to ensure effective management of our supporter data, ensure that business-critical, processes always function as expected and that users have have support in utilising our CRM. Your leadership will be pivotal in prioritising team activities and collaborating on data projects with colleagues in Communications and Fundraising at WaterAid UK

In this role, first and foremost you will support the ongoing development of the Data Operations Team which has been through change in the last six months and with them, you will spearhead the delivery of continuous development and business improvement as well as ensure the security and integrity of supporter data.

You’ll also: 

• Lead the team in providing an excellent service to the organisation through effective planning and evaluation
• Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies, particularly around Direct Debit and Gift Aid administration.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure data processes are efficient and effective.
• Develop and track KPIs and SLAs, communicating these across the team and with stakeholders.
• Champion best practices in data management and proactively review and improve processes and systems.

About You:

• Proven experience in a leadership role, with a focus on motivating and developing teams.
• A strong background in managing operational teams and driving performance improvements.
• Experience in managing a helpdesk or customer service function, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Demonstrable experience in stakeholder management within large organisations.
• Experience in managing, developing, and implementing new systems and business processes.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, particularly D365.
• Knowledge of Bacs Direct Debit processes, HMRC, Gift Aid, and data protection compliance.
• Experience in building complex database queries and using SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar workflow management tools.
• Experience working with Direct Marketing agencies or data handling agencies.

About the role
We are excited to be recruiting a Programme Coordinator for The Scholars Programme to join the Programme Management Team and support us in delivering the goals set out in Join the Club, our ambitious strategy for 2021-2026.
The Programme Coordinator supports the Programme Management team and wider organisation, helping to ensure strategic priorities are effectively delivered, and that schools and tutors receive a high-quality service. The role will lead on several administrative processes and will include regular document creation, data input and management, liaising with stakeholders and supporting Scholars Programme events.

This role will involve some travel to deliver events at our different university partners. While this role

Morgan Hunt is working with a leading charity delivering quality support services to women, men and their families who are affected by domestic abuse, homelessness, and young parents across the of Northwest England. Improving the safety and life opportunities of the people who use their services and supporting them in their recovery. They support the people they work with to overcome the experiences they have had, empowering them to build up the skills and resources they need to take control of their own lives, access a tenancy of their own and maintain a quality of life in the long term.

We are currently recruiting for 3 Evening / Night Assistant Domestic Abuse Support Workers to join the team on a permanent basis following the successful acquisition of a new Refuge service in Rochdale. This is part time role, working 16.33 hours per week on a 3-week rolling rota.

The role

• To accept new referrals and complete move in procedures for new clients, including supporting flat turnarounds, cleaning, and re-stock to ensure there is no delay in accommodation any referral.
• Ensure the upkeep and security of the building and take responsibility for any cash and equipment.
• Maintaining an understanding and awareness of and adhering to all support plans and risk assessments and to update the Domestic Abuse Support Worker (DASW) of changes to risk or incidents.
• To provide feedback to the DASW regarding tenant's SMART plans and aims achieved, recorded documentation on client database.
• To complete risk assessments for activities both 1-1 and group work, incorporating safety planning, reviewing on a regular basis.
• To work with clients and other staff to devise an annual plan for client involvement, to actively engage the individuals and families within the Rochdale DA safe accommodation service, promoting lived experience involvement in service delivery and improvement.
• Facilitate evening group work and promote, monitor and evaluate involvement sessions in conjunction with the people using services.
• To work in-line with the project's budget, adhering to financial policies and procedures.
• To monitor the security and safety of the premises on an ongoing basis, including CCTV, front door entry system and alarm system.
• To be responsible and accountable for the efficient recording, storing and maintaining of client records including contact notes, correspondence, incident reporting, handovers, risk updates and outcomes achieved.
• Record and manage any anti-social behaviour or neighbour nuisance and respond appropriately according to escalation procedure.
• Address any instances of non-engagement or perceived obstacles to support via a trauma informed approach.
• To actively promote the service and the organisation.
• To ensure GDPR, confidentiality and professional boundaries are upheld in all aspects of daily practice.

The candidate

• Relevant qualification in Domestic Abuse / IDVA / ISVA or equivalent diploma / degree / NVQ 3 or equivalent work level experience and the willingness to achieve a level 3 qualification.
• An extensive understanding of individuals and families who have or are experiencing domestic abuse.
• Knowledge of working as part of a team, working on own initiative and managing time effectively.
• Ability and knowledge of planning, promoting, or delivering group work sessions with evaluation.
• Knowledge of providing support on agreed outcomes of assessment support plans.
• Knowledge of assessing and implementing risk assessments, including DASH Ric.
• Knowledge of the impact of multiple disadvantages, complex support needs and homelessness.

Fundraising department

Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5 million through donations in 2023/2024, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

We pride ourselves on being a supporter-focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

• Our Philanthropy & Campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, our essential existing services, the charity’s first patron programme, and special events to support these activities.
• Our Public Fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges. Our database and supporter care teams sit within Public Fundraising, with their work underpinning and supporting the entire department.

Building on our achievements, our board of trustees has agreed to invest in expanding the fundraising function to develop a sustainable infrastructure that will support our growth ambitions. We are currently restructuring our teams, within the above parameters, to deliver this vision.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive, experienced and hands-on person to join our team as Senior Philanthropy Operations Manager on a permanent basis. Working alongside the wider team, you will oversee all philanthropy operations, leading on delivering and further developing the charity’s approach to portfolio, information, and policy management and reporting, and helping to evolve our approach to database and systems processes, to support the team to meet ambitious engagement and income targets.

You will play a vital role within our Philanthropy & Campaigns team, using insight and expertise, and working closely with a range of stakeholders across RFC, RFL and the wider sector. Your commitment to excellence will enable sector-leading research, engagement and stewardship.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Philanthropy & Campaigns, with a dotted line to the Campaign Director, this role is responsible for line managing the Prospect Research and Operations Manager, with further direct and indirect line management anticipated as we prepare for and deliver our forthcoming cancer campaign.

Principal accountabilities / responsibilities

Team leadership

• Proactively lead and manage all operations for the Philanthropy & Campaigns team as we deliver challenging core activity alongside moving towards delivery of a c£70m cancer campaign
•  Manage a growing team to deliver productively and at pace, modelling behaviour and setting standards

Prospect research and portfolio management

• Work with the Prospect Research and Operations Manager to grow the prospect research strategy and associated processes, ensuring the development of an effective philanthropy prospect pipeline, sourcing prospective donors to fund key priority projects
•  Lead on the use of data and analytics to drive decision making across the team
• Work with the Philanthropy & Campaigns team to build the income budget, supporting with re/forecasting throughout the year

Information management and reporting

•   Ensure data capture processes for prospect management and research are effective, reviewing and improving, as needed
• Provide high-quality information and intelligence, to include prospect and pipeline reporting, to support decision making and strategy development in the Philanthropy & Campaigns team, working in collaboration with other teams as required
• Track and report on the Philanthropy & Campaigns team’s activities against agreed priorities, highlighting areas for potential new asks
• Oversee the analysis of management accounts, and deliver data and insight for committee and board reports  

Compliance and policy management

This is an exciting time for Tender, with both the demand for and reach of our work expanding significantly in recent years. Having set up our Adult Services department in 2019, we have seen both the breadth and depth of our work with adults expand significantly. Following a recent organisational restructure and the development of a three-year strategy which we are implementing in 2023 – 2026, we are anticipating further growth in our adult training work.

We are therefore looking to expand our Adult Services team, with a Projects Coordinator to support the Head of Adult Services and Service Delivery Lead (Adult Services) to coordinate the delivery of a range of adult training projects to a varied group of beneficiaries. You will play a key role in ensuring that the projects are planned and delivered smoothly, communicating regularly with settings and the facilitators delivering the training, and ensuring projects are properly recorded, monitored, and evaluated. You will be part of a direct team of five in Adult Services, and a wider team of dedicated, supportive people with a shared commitment to preventing domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Role Purpose

The main purposes of the Projects Coordinator role are:

• Coordinating the administration of all aspects of the Tender’s training programmes for adults across the organisation
• Supporting the Head of Adult Services and Service Delivery Lead (Adult Services) to manage relationships with Tender’s internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, workshop leaders, teachers/carers, delivery partners and other service professionals
• Monitoring and evaluating the impact of Tender’s training sessions

Main Responsibilities and Duties

Project delivery

• Developing and coordinating the delivery of training projects for adults across all settings, including digital projects, to ensure successful delivery of projects
• Coordinating development days and developing resources and content with the Head of Adult Services, in order to grow and tailor the content for sessions with adults
• Collaborating with the Children and Young People’s (CYP) Services department to coordinate the delivery of training projects for adults in CYP settings
• Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure projects are delivered to plan and on time
