Managing Mental Health and Money Advisers/ Team

I use my experience as a Manager/Team Leader to support and develop the team I manage. I work as part of a team including the Head of MHMA and the Service Manager, ensuring quality is paramount and supporting the team in doing so. I directly manage a team of advisers, undertaking monthly reviews, appraisals and dealing with annual leave and other matters. I cover some of the service managers duties during annual leave and other absence.

I will work with the following people and teams

• Quality Team
• Wider national programmes team
• MHMA teams in other nations

Prospectus are excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for a Trusts Manager to join their fundraising team. The charity was set up in December 2003 to ensure that bereaved children and their families receive the best possible support following the death of someone close. The organisation is a leading UK bereavement charity, providing free, professional services and support to 1,000 bereaved children, young people and their families a year. They provide support across England and Wales face-to-face via their therapy hubs in London and Bristol as well as by phone and online.

The role is offered on a permanent, part-time (0.8FTE) basis with a salary of £38,000 to £40,000 per annum pro rata with a flexible hybrid working model between home and their office.  

The post holder will be responsible for researching and applying for relevant funding streams to exceed the fundraising team’s annual target. They will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent working relationships with a portfolio of current and prospective funders. The postholder will work with colleagues to package existing services into compelling proposals as well as supporting with developing new project proposals.

They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of securing 5-figure grants and donations within a Trusts and Foundations team. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in writing high-quality applications, reporting on the impact of funded projects, and managing relationships with funders. The ideal candidate will have a personal interest to develop knowledge and understanding of childhood bereavement and charity services, as well as their costs and funding needs, to be able to talk confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.

The main purpose of this role is to deliver clear, accurate and valuable guidance to community organisations on renewable energy technologies, business models and project development processes at various scales. Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• Support CSE’s fundraising activities and the development of new models and approaches for the provision of renewable energy, heat projects, and services at the local and community scale.
• Champion to key stakeholders (such as local authorities and funders) the roles which local and community organisations can play in catalysing and enabling renewable energy and local energy projects.
• Foster collaboration and deepening relationships with partners and other organisations who are active and interested in supporting similar areas of work. This might include local authorities, community organisations, community energy organisations, third sector organisations, developers, funders, investors and key supply chain actors.

Essential attributes for this role include:

• Have experience and knowledge of developing and/or delivering heat, renewable energy, or storage projects, including larger standalone renewables projects. 
• The ability to research and rapidly synthesise and share key understanding around different renewable technologies.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to apply these appropriately to a wide range of people and to relay and translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Have a broad understanding of the UK energy system, and the transformations required to tackle the climate emergency.

The role will also have a particular focus on programme management, ensuring that gifts are advertised and implemented.

The successful postholder will quickly build strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders that will support the work of Fundraising and Supporter Development team, supporting fundraisers working in Major Gifts, whilst not directly involved in the work, you will be able to provide advice and guidance to staff working within these income streams, as well as work with the Business Support Officer to support the management of securing philanthropic gifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with fundraisers and colleagues in the Supporter Operations and Donor Relations teams, to ensure that philanthropic gifts are correctly implemented in line with the donor's expectations and the terms of their gift agreements.
• Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure the funding is used correctly and pledge payments are fulfilled.
• Design complex gift implementation strategies.
• Develop and monitor systems that ensure fundraiser compliance with policies and procedures relating to the implementation of donations. This will also include supporting the Philanthropy Team in monitoring gifts in stewardship, highlighting any gifts requiring re-solicitation.
• Use relationship management techniques to ensure that the relevant stakeholders are notified of any changes or delays to gift implementation. For example, capital builds, recruitment of key posts, progress in research projects.
• Support the Philanthropy Team and wider Directorate in managing business processes, developing processes, and review of key gift documentation, that will support future implementation of philanthropic donations.

This unique role is central to a new era unfolding at The Funding Network, and will prioritise managing existing donors and building a thriving new network to increase impact for the organisations they support.

Their work is incredibly unique in the sector. The Funding Network are pioneering a model of engaged and collaborative philanthropy that bridges the divide between the most privileged members of society and the most marginalised. They facilitate real change for small charities, allowing them to grow, build their own new network of funders, develop their own infrastructure, increase support and ultimately increase their social impact.

The main facilitation is crowd funding events at which small charities pitch for funds and other forms of support. Events are hosted on a pro bono basis, and have been described as part TED Talk, part Dragons Den and part live auction. On any given evening, an audience might have the opportunity to support children impacted by parental imprisonment, families affected by knife crime, and asylum seekers facing homelessness. Audiences leave feeling inspired and uplifted by the people they've met, the work they have learned about and the difference they've made.

Partnerships Manager

• Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
• £40,000 - £45,000 - full time or part-time pro-rata salary
• Flexible and hybrid working policy with 2 days per week in central London office
• 26 days annual leave plus three days between Christmas and New Year and one for birthday, increasing to 29 days after two years of employment and 31 days after five years

Members find and select the charities The Funding Network support, and contribute approximately 80% of the funds raised at events, and make a vital contribution to core costs through an annual fee. This role will be central in shaping the future of donor partnerships by ensuring outstanding account management for their current network and expanding their base of individual and corporate members achieving greater impact.

You’ll take the lead in creating a visitor engagement strategy that ensures an inspiring journey for our visitors, ensuring that experiences are educational, inspiring, and convey our brand purpose and mission. This will include curating and delivering an ambitious programme of events and activities, designed to captivate new audiences, teach and inspire communities, and foster lifelong advocates for nature. From seasonal trails and wellbeing workshops to educational seminars, you’ll bring our reserves to life, creating experiences that inspire Londoners to get involved in nature's recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create Inspiring Visitor Experiences: Create a visitor engagement strategy including developing an engaging public events programme, providing a variety of activities from guided walks to craft workshop, and overseeing key messaging for the Trust, use of permanent and promotional signage on sites.
- Lead & Support Teams: Recruit, train, and manage a small team to support your work, ensuring high standards in visitor experience and engagement.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with the Marketing and Conservation teams to promote events and partner with like-minded organizations to expand our public programming.
- Analyze & Grow: Use post-event feedback and survey data to refine our approach, tailoring events to diverse audiences and benchmarking our reserves with other visitor attractions to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Manage Budgets: Oversee financial aspects of programming, from budgeting to vendor payments, ensuring our events are both impactful and sustainable.
