Location: This role can be based at any one of the Arts Council of Wales offices in Cardiff, Colwyn Bay or Carmarthen.We are currently working in a hybrid way.
The International Co-ordinator supports the effective delivery of Wales Arts International’s activities, its projects and services. This includes the development of international information services, co-ordination of communication, correspondence and appointments. It also involves the planning, organisation and administration of internal and external meetings, events and conferences and participation in delivering frontline contact work with sectors in Wales and in international contexts.
The primary focus of this specific role is to provide a high quality administrative and support service to Arts Infopoint UK. It will work alongside the Arts Infopoint UK Officer, Arts Infopoint UK partners and the Wales Arts International team.
Arts Infopoint UK is an initiative to support the arts sector with information on practical issues relating to artist international mobility. Arts Council of Wales’s international agency, Wales Arts International (WAI), is leading the project in partnership with Creative Scotland, Arts Council England, and Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
About you
You will have well developed IT and administrative skills, good communication skills and experience of supporting the organisation of events and dealing with people in events, conferences and other group contexts at an organisational level.
Welsh language
We work in both English and Welsh. Fluency in Welsh (both written and spoken) is desirable but not essential for this post. Upon appointment we can support you to learn, develop and improve your language skills and to increase your confidence in speaking and writing in Welsh.

We're looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly team. You will be based in our Maldon office, playing a pivotal role in supporting unpaid family carers who look after someone due to their age, disability, long-term physical or mental health condition or an addiction. You will act as the initial point of contact for carers managing referrals and ensuring carers receive a timely response to enquiries. You will conduct initial conversations with carers to understand their needs and circumstance. And you will provide carers with appropriate information, advice and guidance, from accessing benefits, peer support or respite breaks.

Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. Job Title: Hackney Service Engagement Lead
Salary: £20,800 - £26,000 - hours dependant

About us at the NCT
A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers and peers. And we support women and families facing specific challenges, such as social isolation, feeding difficulties or poor mental health.
Our Hackney Parent Support project is commissioned by Hackney Council, to offer infant feeding support across the region in both community and hospital settings and parenting courses for families throughout the Hackney region. The support is delivered by staff and volunteer peer supporters.
We are seeking a capable Service Engagement Lead to manage, coordinate and support both the Infant feeding and Parenting course projects. This role is split between being out in the community and working from home, it will include regular travel across the Hackney region (expenses will be reimbursed).
About the Role
Working closely with the Hackney Parent Support team, you will be responsible for the service engagement and promotion of our community-based services across Hackney. Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
· Line managing the paid peer supporters within the Hackney staff team.
· Coordinating and maintaining the active social media and Infant Feeding Services website.
· Advertising volunteering opportunities across varying platforms including social media
· Provide clear guidance and information to potential volunteers on the roles, responsibilities and training requirements.
· Having a good working knowledge and understanding of the local demographics in the Hackney area and ensuring all support groups are accessible and inclusive.
· Ensure that data collection and feedback is collected in a timely manner in an inclusive way.
· Coordinate and deliver the Equipment Hire Service across the Borough.
You must have good communication skills and be able to build relationships and create a rapport with a wide range of people easily. This is a large project and covers multiple locations so you must be able to confidently prioritise your own work, be highly organised and able to work independently.
Being able to make decisions and respond appropriately to our staff, peer supporters and parents and other external stakeholders is essential, alongside good IT skills– including Outlook, Word and Excel – and you must have good attention to detail.
It is essential for this post that you undertake the training to become an NCT Breastfeeding Peer Supporter. This requires breastfeeding experience of at least 3 months. The training can be undertaken within your working hours. There will also be training on the EPEC (Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities course) provided by South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
The role is 14 hours per week as is a job share, which will be predominantly Monday to Wednesday within the working day, however, will include occasional evening and weekends. This is a home-based role, however travel across Hackney will be required.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Shetland. You will be involved in one-to-one advocacy along with group work across the area; this could be in a clients’ home or other suitable community venue and be home based for telephone for administrative tasks. Therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.
This is a part time role for 21 hours per week, applicants who do not hold the Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy will start on £22,500 per annum pro-rata.
About you

Desirably you will have some experience of working, providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education, training, benefits, employment, care and support.
You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.

You will be responsible for ensuring the individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people you support.
You will support people to speak up for themselves and grow in confidence, equip them to understand and exercise their rights and options.
You will work resourcefully and collaboratively with the individuals you support. You’ll be creative in your approach to empower our clients by ensuring you meaningfully explain people’s options and rights to them. You’ll support individuals to fully participate in decisions affecting them and will make sure they have their voices heard. This can be through 1-2-1 advocacy or in a group setting.

As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. The successful candidates will manage a small caseload of carers and provide them with 1:1 support, helping them overcome barriers to employment and training. Off the Record Bath & North East Somerset (OTR) is a mental health and wellbeing charity that gives local young people a safe space to be heard and be themselves. We provide a range of free services for young people, including counselling, listening support, youth participation, advocacy, support for care leavers and a LGBTQ+ focused youth group.

Purpose of the role
This senior role will manage and oversee OTR’s main operational functions, including finance, human resources, fundraising, office management, data, policies and communications. We recognise that you may not have experience in all these areas, but may be skilled in one or more of them.
You will lead and inspire our Resources team, line managing them to enable our client-facing teams to deliver the best possible services for young people. You’ll be motivated by our mission and play a key role in making it happen.
You will be part of OTR’s senior management team (SMT), working closely with the Head of Voice Services and Head of Wellbeing Services as well as the CEO to actively oversee the growth and development of the organisation, and delivery of our strategy.

Key duties
- Driving efficiency through our finances - overseeing financial procedures to ensure OTR’s bookkeeping, payroll and annual accounts are delivered accurately and on time.
- Budgeting – with the CEO, creating annual budgets and monitoring against these against agreed KPIs.

- Overseeing our fundraising – working with the Development Manager, CEO and others to ensure OTR brings in the resources needed to deliver against our objectives.
- Evidencing our impact through data - working with the Data & Learning Officer on our contractual reporting requirements and impact reporting, ensuring our database and other systems enable OTR to make informed decisions about our service delivery.
- Leading a safe and comfortable workplace– overseeing the work of our Office Manager, including health and safety; making procurement decisions and innovating ways to make our premises secure and welcoming for staff and clients.

- Be digitally driven – help us to maximise the opportunities from digital innovations, including AI.
Joint responsibilities as part of the Senior Management Team (SMT)

Working pattern and location
This role can be worked within our core hours of 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday. We will discuss your preferred working pattern at interview. The ideal candidate will be able to work on one or both of Tuesdays and Wednesdays to align with other senior team members.
This role is based at our office in central Bath, which is very close to Bath Spa train station and Bath central bus station. The post holder will be based in a shared office with access to meeting rooms.
You will be expected to be in the office for the majority of your working week but will also be able to work from home as agreed with your line manager.
