An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practitioner Assistive Technology, Band 7 to join our Assistive Technology Team. This role will require the successful candidate to provide a high quality, evidence based assistive technology service, promoting participation, communication and interaction for children and young people accessing The Children’s Trust Therapy Services. Additionally, you will develop and deliver the service, in collaboration with multidisciplinary health, therapy and education teams.
Our service delivery aims to promote outcome focussed interventions, safe care, function, and participation, of children and young people accessing home, school, and community life. You will provide clinical leadership within the area of assistive technology, across the therapy service, ensuring the delivery of child and family focused goal led interventions at a highly specialist level, for children and young people accessing The Children’s Trust School and in-patient neurorehabilitation services.

Role Requirements
- Lead the provision of high quality, evidence based assistive technology interventions, for children and young people attending The Children’s Trust School and receiving in-patient neurorehabilitation.
- Provide clinical leadership to the Assistive Technology Team, identifying service priorities, service delivery methods and standards of practice.
- Provide assessments for complex augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
- Identify service needs for AAC and selection of appropriate hardware, software, access, and mounting options, as per organisational policies and procedures.
- Understanding of mainstream technologies in specialist support, assistive technology, and computer access.
- Knowledge of environmental control and powered mobility.
- Lead in the design and implementation of communication and technology resources.
- Maintain and disseminate specialist knowledge of eye-gaze control and the use of eye-tracking, within clinical assessment and management.
- Develop therapy goals, plans and methods, in collaboration with the child and family/carers, as well as the Multidisciplinary and Education teams, founded upon evidence-based practice.
- Be an autonomous Practitioner, with responsibility and overview for Assistive Technology interventions, and maintaining relevant records and reports.
- Work closely with all members of the Multidisciplinary Team, as well as the child and family, to provide a fully integrated approach to the overall management of the child. This will include any home/school visits, professional child related meetings and/ or appointments, as required.
- Identify and utilise specialist assessments and relevant outcome measures, for children/young people receiving assistive technology interventions.
- Work flexibly across site as needed e.g. with the team in the Children’s Trust School
- Work flexibly in terms of hours, in order to meet the needs of the service, including an early evening (weekly) and one weekend day, per calendar month.
- Represent the Therapy Team and The Children’s Trust when appropriate, deputising for the Team as required.
- Undertake specialist assessments, externally responding to national and international requests.
- Act as the Lead Professional for complex case management and coordination, as and when required.
- Actively participate in, support and Chair relevant Multidisciplinary Team meetings, as and when required.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Your challenge? To do everything you can to help the individuals we work with to source appropriate work experience placements with local organisations/employers. Driving New Business Growth:

Promotional Activities:

About The Role
Working closely with our Chief Executive Officer, the Operations and Systems Manager would take a birds-eye view of our organisation to help us build a consistent, collaborative and centralised approach to how we work. You would hold responsibility for developing and embedding operational strategies, processes, policies, and systems that meet our needs and help to support staff wellbeing. This role includes a key focus on improving how we can better use and manage our digital infrastructure to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of internal processes and to improve our ability to engage and retain external audiences, enabling us to build our impact on a national scale. Key areas of responsibility are as follows:
Day-to-day operational management of the Charity, including:
- Resolving daily operational and administrative issues efficiently and effectively.
- Taking initiative to enhance or develop, implement and embed effective systems and working practices, drawing from personal knowledge and experience and external examples of best practice.
- Developing and refining our approach to hybrid working, ensuring systems and processes enable connection and creativity across the organisation. This includes working closely with the HR and Finance Officer to ensure new and existing staff are appropriately trained and supported with ensuring a safe, comfortable and productive home working set-up.
- Taking responsibility for managing our office space and working environment, ensuring it is fit for the organisation’s needs. This includes everything from liaising with our landlord and tradespeople, ensuring compliance with the terms of our lease, maintaining required levels of tea, coffee, milk, stationery and other consumables, and making improvements to ensure a productive and effective working environment.
- Ensuring technology (computers, printers etc.) is fit for purpose, safe, enables robust data security, and is properly recorded on Music Masters’ asset register.
- Oversight of service level agreements, memberships and contracts with external suppliers and providers, regularly reviewing these to ensure that they are current, necessary, effective and delivering value for money, in collaboration with the wider team and with the CEO / Finance Director as appropriate. - Management of certain operational budgets, in collaboration with the CEO / Finance Director.
- Oversight and administration of the Music Masters’ contact email inbox, voicemail inbox, and physical post.
- The organisation of certain social events, and other team away days or Board strategic planning days.
- Ensuring organisational risk assessments and operational policies and processes are kept up to date and fit for purpose. Digital:

Governance
- Supporting the CEO with general governance support including the organisation of quarterly Board meetings and Board development arrangements, meeting minuting where appropriate, updating Trustee information, and ensuring compliance with the Charity Commission, Companies House and any other regulatory bodies.
General
- Undertaking relevant training, ensuring ongoing development of knowledge via conferences, reading and networking.

- Work with the programme co-ordinator and additional administrative support to deliver the SLDP discernment process from initiation to completion at the moderation panel and the subsequent communication of outcomes and feedback. This will include serving on the panels, working with all key stakeholders associated with the discernment process and ensuring accurate information is provided and recorded across the entire process.

Role Purpose
This role is focused on maximising comms-based engagement across the GDI Hub’s portfolio, supporting GDI Hub’s growing outreach across project-based deliverables and organisational comms channels (e.g. social media, websites, content generation).
The post holder will work closely across GDI Hub comms team to support delivery across the organisational portfolio – with a focus on key regular outputs, reactive queries and organisational communications. This role will involve both administrative tasks, and creative content generation, at an anticipated volume of 50% per area.

You will also assist clients with routine tasks and their goals relating to training, education, or employment.

About this key role
You will manage a caseload of up to 15 clients and support a minimum of 20 new clients annually and play a central role in preventing serious youth violence, exploitation, offending and ensuring the safety of at-risk individuals. To achieve this, you will conduct initial needs assessments, before developing individual support and risk management plans, ensuring that you promote inter-agency collaborating in the process, and regularly reviewing the progress against these plans.

Overall Purpose
To provide advice, assistance and support to young people in the home, as a key member of the Support Team, delivering Baca’s service in line with our Vision and Values. The role includes a consistent adult presence in the home. To attend to their practical and emotional needs whilst supporting the development of living skills. To teach them how to manage and look after a home in order to keep it safe and hygienic. To build trusting relationships within the home to enable young people to feel safe and cared for. - Welcome newly arrived young people into the accommodation, helping them feel safe and able to rest; with compassion without discrimination of age, race, colour or behavioural issues.
- Actively support young people to make progress and develop in the following outcomes; physical wellbeing and emotional wellbeing; personal safety; education and learning; employment and training that is safe and suitable; social engagement (being part of the community and activities outside of the home)

- Using Baca’s progress plan, train all young people in living skills and looking after a home such as washing, personal safety, cleaning, cooking and food safety, food shopping and budgeting.

ACT (or Aldates Community Transformation Initiatives) is a welcoming community that includes many with lived experience of prison, street homelessness or addiction. Through street and prison outreach, community meals, mentoring and housing, we help people rebuild their lives after some of life’s toughest experiences.
Everything we do is designed to help people find belonging, purpose and hope. That looks different for each person. But most of our activities are rooted in relationship – whether that’s bacon butty breakfasts, small group sessions, back-to-work projects or our annual holiday.
ACT is a registered charity with the board of trustees drawn from within the church, including the Rector. Occasionally we invite other trustees with specific expertise. We work to train teachers to be able to deliver financial education and help them build it into their curriculum.
The Financial Education Delivery Coordinator position at Just Finance Foundation (JFF) is an exciting opportunity to participate in the delivery of new resources that will ensure children can access the education they need to manage money well in the future. We have ambitious targets to see our financial education resources in over 1,000 schools over the next 3 years. What the role looks like
The Financial Education Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding schools to embed our free financial education resources into primary school classrooms. You will have an excellent understanding of the challenges and pressures that exist within a primary school environment. You will be able to generate enthusiasm for financial education, as well as develop strong relationships with schools and other project collaborators. You will achieve this by proactively researching, networking, and making connections with schools in London and the Southeast region. You will speak to stakeholders, including teachers and school leadership, to promote our programme. Once they have registered, you will then train the teachers and school staff on how to incorporate our resources flexibly into their classrooms. The Financial Education Delivery Coordinator will need to work flexibly with each school to best meet their needs, according to our policies and guidelines. Reporting the progress of the various programmes is a key part of the role and the ability to collate data, identify risks, and meet deadlines is crucial.
As a part of the broader Programmes and Innovation department, this role is a creative opportunity to develop new ideas and ways of delivering financial literacy to primary schools. We encourage thinking outside the box that respects the demands placed on teachers and school staff. Crucial to the role is a willingness to be part of a wider project team, an ability to adapt and respond to change, and a belief in the impact that we can make to young people.
